Five Glances
My Vestige of a Heart"Seunghyun, come sit with me," I called through the house. I was staying over this weekend.
Seunghyun grunted from the other room as he padded from the kitchen to the couch, plunking into it lazily. I was lying down, propped up by my elbow. He was leaning on me, twirling a loose thread of my sweater with his index finger.
I let out a content sigh and sat up, only to move into his arms. He moved with me, wrapping his arms around me and taking in the scent of my dusty-brown hair.
"Seunghyun, why haven't you kissed me yet?"
He seemed to pause behind me, soon giving a gentle peck to my neck.
"No no no, my lips. Why haven't you kissed my lips?"
I could feel him smiling against my skin, giving another gentle kiss to the same area.
"Would you like me to kiss your lips, Jiyong?" he said softly into the hem of my shirt.
My heart sped up as a hot blush crawled its way to my face. I tried to look at him then, he glanced up at me. Our eyes caught and locked into each other. Our gaze setting a small trail of fire down my spine. I blinked, suddenly breaking eye contact with his dark, ink-coloured eyes.
"Well?" he asked again, the finger he used to play with the thread of my sweater now twirling a lock of my hair.
My breathing picked up, and my blush deepened. This was a bad idea.
"Maybe a little bit," would leave my lips, my voice betraying me and giving slightly. When had I become this shy?
"Come here then," he murmured, turning my head to him by my chin, his warm hand smoothing around my face and to my cheeks. The pads of his thumbs rested gently against the heat of my cheeks.
Our eyes locked again, and soon enough, the image of Seunghyun's teasing, heated gaze made its way closer to me. His lips parted slightly as he got closer.
As he got closer, I could smell the faint scent of leather and cologne, making me dizzy. Our noses not even an inch apart, he stared into my eyes for a moment before I could feel his soft, plump lips against mine. I whimpered, the butterflies in my stomach fluttering to the point that my heart felt like it had flipped.
After giving a gentle to my bottom lip, he pulled away, showing his white teeth and dimples with a satisfied grin.
"Is your curious mind at rest now?" he chuckled, pulling me back in his arms.
"Probably not, but it's a bit calmer now," I smiled into his chest, snuggling him closer.
"Curiosity killed the cat," Seunghyun's deep voice had said, turning the T.V. on for background noise. I started to feel heavy. Sleepy.
"But satisfaction brought it back," I retorted, murmuring words along the lines of, "I'm falling asleep," and "Goodnight Seunghyun," he nodded, pulling my head closer to his chest as he lied back on the sofa.
Jiyong sped through the house, childish panic rising in his chest. It wasn't that big of an apartment, so he'd need to find a hiding place soon. He could hear Seungri's loud footsteps plowing through the house. If it weren't for the whining, Jiyong may even feel a bit scared of Seungri.
His eyes darted to an area behind a shelf, and rushed to it quickly, Seungri's figure filling in the corner of his eye. Seungri was facing a different direction, and he had barely made it to the hiding place before Seungri turned around.
"Kwon Jiyong, I saw you!" He called, too loudly for this room.
Jiyong crammed himself into the small spot further, pressing his lips together. His fluttering heart filling with anticipation as Seungri's shadow loomed into the dim room, he broke out in a laugh because of his nerves, exposing his cover as he laughed in fear.
"Awh, look what you've done!" the other boy exclaimed, gesturing to the squished donuts setting a stain into Jiyong's sweater. Jiyong's laughter died on his lips, turning into a quiet "Oops...," under his breath. He heisitantly grabbed a lump of fluffy filling off his shirt and smeared it on top of Seungri's nose and slid it down from his lips, past his chin, and down his neck. Jiyong let out a playful cackle, at the remaining desert off his fingers.
Seungri's eyes lit in annoyance, snatching a donut out of Jiyong's grasp and smearing it against his face and into his hair.
"Yah! Lee Seunghyun!" Jiyong screeched, his hands attempting to ruffle out the remaining donut pieces.
"You started it, Jijiii," he said in sing song, leaving the room with a grin. "But you should make dinner now, I'm tired," he added, giving a final wave as he made his way back to the kitchen.
"Not until I get this off of me and not a moment sooner!" Jiyong shrieked in reply, dashing to the bathroom for a shower.
