“Oppa, promise me you won’t leave” her voice tensed as she spoke “Don’t leave me” warm tears cascaded down her face. It hurt to see her like this but I literally didn’t have any choice. She held my hands ever so tightly that it broke my heart, I had to shove it away… 

“Hyun Ae…” I slowly removed her hands away from mine

 “It’s time to find your true happiness”

Like any other clichéd love stories…

Sad but it is the reality we must accept… and regardless of how bitter it might feel, we had to accept

That our fate didn’t include ‘and together they lived happily ever after’
