KYUHYUN'S POV

Ah~ Feathia. Feathia is a world where angels like me live. It is in another dimension away from Earth. When people think “angel”, they would usually think about white feathers, flying angels, etc but actually, it's a place much like Earth; it’s full of fresh greenery, pure waters, and nice weather. It looks like a very large meadow with numerous lakes and ponds, but more beautiful and with detail.

Vibrant green grass, Abundant colorful trees, sparkling waters, a sun and a moon that's so close to the ground, you could reach it, relaxing weather, healthy air, and much much more. Nothing is negative about Feathia. Even the head of Feathia, AKA the queen, who has control over Feathia, is very kind-hearted. Also, the weather is always nice. Whenever it is cloudy, the sun is bright enough to lighten the darkness. Whenever it rains, it's calm, soothing rain. Whenever there's snow, light snow will fall from the sky, creating a peaceful and relaxing aura everywhere. No such thing as storms here. Also, like most humans, the angels here always die naturally of age; never a devastating death. It is possible to die unnaturally, but very rare. There's no weapons here, no violent animals, and no poisonous plants. To keep our angel population, angels are created everyday as babies. For me, I was created on February 3, about 19 years ago. Caretakers raise the babies, until they could fly, around the age of 12 or so.

Nothing is artificially made here like those television things on Earth; a very natural place. Angels here eat vegetation; sometimes meat, on special occasions, by using our powers to cook it. We can lay down and sleep anywhere on the grass. No houses nor buildings. As for school, it takes place outside, like where we sleep. Clay pamphlets are used as books and paper, while small, wooden, hollow bars filled with flower dye is used as writing utensils. Feathia is just like a very large household for angels. As for work, we try our best to keep the place fresh and lively by farming. There's no such money here. Just trading.

It's just so....perfect here. And I hate it.

That's why I'm going away from this place and take a vacation, to Earth. I'm currently at the exit of Feathia, standing there in front of my best friends, Donghae and Hankyung, who are also angels, to say goodbye. Instead of the usual white draping robe with silver or gold accessories every angel wears in Feathia, I'm wearing human clothes (young angels here travel back and forth to Earth every once in a while). A white button up long sleeved collared shirt, mostly buttoned except for the exception of the top two, and with the sleeves up to my elbows, some black "skinny jeans" as they call it on Earth, and white sneakers. I also was a carrying a fabric bag, that held all my other human clothes, some human money, a human ID, and some papers which would help me get into a university in Korea, SM University.
"Kyuhyun! Be sure to eat well and come back soon!" Donghae said to me.
"I'm already 19. I think I can take care for myself." I said to him.
"You just turned 19 in February, Kyuhyun. It's only September now. So, be good. And the clothes...are you sure you're comfortable?" he asked. I looked down at the human outfit I was wearing and just shrugged.
"Eh, I'll get used to it. And this is what they call "stylish" on Earth." I tell him.
"Ah humans....they really have something going on with their heads..." he sighed. I just laughed. Then Donghae went up to me and gave me a hug.

"Be safe alright? The Earth we learn at school isn't the same as reality. It's much more dangerous. Why do you want to go on earth anyways?" Hankyung asked me.
"I told you already. I want to find something new, some fun and excitement. I want to meet humans and become friends with them. I also want to study music there. Feathia is just so.....dull." I said.
"Feathia is fun too! We also having choir which is considered as music!" Donghae told me.
"Yeah, but still, Earth has more tech and modern goodies. Ever heard of the piano, Hankyung?.." I ask.
"Of course! From the pamphlets, I heard they were a bunch of black and white levers that play a wide-variety of notes."
"Yeah, but they could do so much more. Create chords, harmonies--"
"Psh, Kyuhyun! You can sing! You can do all of those things in your sleep!"
"I can sing. But I want to study more you know. That's why I'm going to a place called SM University to stay."
"..a building?...Where you can study, eat, AND sleep in?..."
"Yep! Doesn't that sound exciting already?!" I exclaimed.
"Haha...yeah sure, whatever.... Anyways, better get going man, or else I might feel like dragging you away from the exit of Feathia." Hankyung joked.
"Take care, man." I said to Donghae.
"Make sure you come back before you're 20!" he said. Why? Because, when I'm 20 years old, I’ll become an angel with permanent wings and I have to stay in Feathia forever. Yay (sarcasm). Right now, I can open and close my wings as I want during the day. However at night, they stay open until dawn. So, on Earth, I can't go out at night.
"Okay. I'll be sure to come back....However...what if I find myself a love and become human, hmm?.." I said to him.
"Hey, remember the rules. According to the Guide to Feathia rulebook, I quote 'If you wish to become human, you must consent the queen of Feathia first and then find yourself a true love that's a human you'll dedicate your life to. After that, you and the human must prove their love for one another, and you will soon be granted a human life.'" Donghae said.
"Yeah, I'll send the queen a messenger bird if I do find myself a love."
"But still...." Donghae looked at me from head to toe. "You kind of look like a playboy."
"No I don't! I look like a prince. And I will find a princess for me only." I boasted.
"What about the prince's best friend? What are you gonna do when you turn human and you can't go back to Feathia?..." he said sadly. I thought for while. That is true, Donghae is my best friend, I can't just leave him behind.
"...Donghae. How old are you?" I ask him.
"19. Why?" he asked suspiciously.
"Come on over to Earth sometime. I'll get you a fine lady." I winked.
"....Oh no! No! No! I am definitely not going to become a huma--"
"--Anyways, bye!" I said as I opened the exit and jumped in before he could continue blabbering on.

Traveling through the dimension hole only took a few seconds. It was just a hole of light and before I knew it, I was standing on a dark grey ground, which was unfamiliar to me. I look up and see a building titled, "SM University". Wow, it's huge... I then look around 360 degrees and see the world around me.

A city full of tall structures full with windows, artificial light coming out of poles, blocks of metal with four wheels at the bottom, rolling along the ground, and the main point, humans; walking with their two feet, going on with their lives. I couldn't help but smile to myself as I was so excited.

This was Earth.

There were so many things I wanted to learn about. So many man-made things on Earth! Not a lot of trees and grass here! However I came at a bad time. It was raining. Hard. Not like the rain in Feathia. I quickly went through my huge bag and got small human-made canopy out, in which the humans call, an umbrella. I didn't know how to open it. I just tugged a few things on it and it suddenly flapped open. The umbrella was white and had blue polka-dots on it. I smile and put the umbrella over myself. I then laughed and ran about like a free and crazy person. I then started to run up to things and point.

"That's a car!" I said to myself as I pointed to the red block of metal with wheels.
"That's a water fountain!"
"That's a telephone!"
"And that's a--"

I stopped when I see a human boy and girl, facing each other, and holding hands in front of the University. They must be a couple. I quickly hide behind a tree, listening to their conversation. I know, I know, I just arrived on Earth and I'm already doing something bad. But I wanted to hear and see what a human couple is like on Earth. But...

Why do they look so sad?

SUNGMIN'S POV

"Kibum...why?..." I sobbed as Kibum and I were standing in front of the university in rain. I couldn't believe it. My 2 year boyfriend.....is nozw officially breaking up with me.
"I'm sorry Sungmin...I have to go to America and pursue my acting career..." Kibum said sadly to me.
"We can still keep a long distance relationship though! I-I'll wait for you Kibum-ah! I'll--"
"Sungmin, I can't. I don't do long-distance relationships....It's complicated. I don't even know when I'll come back." he said.
"...Kibum...it's been 2 years....why now? Is it because you don't feel the same way? ..Have you found a new girl? Am I too much for you---"
"Sungmin! Why are you asking so much questions?! Stop over-reacting! I told you when we first got into this relationship that I can’t promise you anything, especially when it comes to staying in one place!" he yelled, he pauses a while to calm himself down. “We can still be friends…”
"If we could still be friends, why can't we still date each other then?!" I yelled back.
"Just...let it go, Sungmin. Let me go… I think we're better off this way. I’m sorry. Goodbye Sungmin." he said firmly as he just turned around and walked away, leaving me in the rain. My tears fell as quickly as the rain.
"BASTARD! KIBUM, YOU ING BASTARD! I HATE YOU!" I screamed as he walked away, not even bothering to look back.

I then bit my lower lip, walked against the university's wall, and slumped down to my knees and covered my face, not caring if anyone saw me in this horrible state. I was terribly devastated at the loss of Kibum. Wow, tomorrow is going to be my first day at SM University, what a great way to start the year. ‘And I thought I was gonna have the best time ever here with Kibum. But now, after hopping to tour the university with him, he breaks up with me. I thought he was my guardian angel, willing to protect, care, and love me. Now, he's fading away in oblivion, for some acting career. What an inconsiderate . Love .’

After a few minutes of crying in the rain, the water suddenly stopped falling on me. Still on my knees, I sniff and hesitantly look up. The scene around me is still raining but however, beside me I saw a pair of jean covered legs. I lift my head ninety degrees higher to see why the rain stopped falling on me and I saw an umbrella.

A/N: So, how did you guys like it? I am back with my first collab fic with the lovely jennii-cho. I hope you guys read this fabulous fic, because when I first heard the idea, I fell in love! Anyways, this fic is posted in communities in TURNS by myself and jennii-cho. I am in charge of posting the prologue right now obviously. So, you most likely will see jenni-cho post the next chapter (chapter 1), in communities like KyuMin, miracle, etc. However, each chapter is posted in each of our own LJ, so there will be, for example, Chapter 1 in my journal, and a Chapter 1 in jennii-cho's LJ. And, if you didn't understand anything what I just explained, it's okay. Don't worry about it, since it doesn't involve with your fic reading. :D Also, I will be continuing to write "I'm Your Anti-Fan" and I will post it up after Falling in Love with an Angel is done ^-^
