Mark

My mother left the following week and the harrassing of Kiarra did not end after she was gone. She had still kept calling me to ask her to marry Kiarra and have pretty children. Either way things went Kiarra did not stop from speaking to me. I knew what I had to do to get her away from me, women always wanted something. When she came into the hallway from the elevator, I was waiting for her. She looked up at me and smiled friendly-like. I could tell that something was on her mind, but I needed to do this.

"Hello Mark, how are you today?" She said smoothly and her eyes looked all around my face. I reached out and pulled her to me, my hands on her waist and my eyes penetrated hers. "Mark please.  Let me go." My ears did not hear her and I had moved my face closer to hers and she moved away from me, pushing me away. "What's wrong with you?!" Her eyebrows had furrowed. Maybe I shouldn't have taken that road. Time had slowed and I took deep breaths while thinking this through.

"I"m so terribly sorry. I meant to ask if you wanted to come inside for some tea or something." I slowly said and her look at me shown that she thought that I was crazy. Then she nodded and moved cautiously with me to my door and we both entered the medium sized apartment. When I saw her sit on the couch I went into the kitchen and heated up the already made tea.
