Jung Hyun Suk Mansion, Jessica and Gary’s wedding

We are back to the wedding, still the same night. Dinner is over. The dance floor is crowded. The bride, Jessica, is out there, happily dancing with her husband. Minjung is laughing with Byunghun, don’t forget to add Shinhye who looks so happy being in Yonghwa’s arms. Krystal's dad is dancing with her mom. Krystal's dad gives Krystal a wink as she heads onto to the dance floor with Kang Hodong, 50s and fat.

“So, where's Lay?” asked Hodong between their dances.

“We broke up.”

“No way. You guys were together for like ten years.”

“Seven. But still, a long time.”

“Yeah. Too bad cousins can't marry, huh? ‘Cause then we could maybe –”

“Eeew Hodong oppa, gross.” Krystal swats Hodong on the arm, and he laughs. Then they are distracted by a commotion on the dance floor. Everyone has stopped dancing. They are looking to the floor, near the band. Krystal pushes her way through to see- her dad, Jung Hyungsuk. He has fallen to his knees. Clutching his chest and his face is turning ashy, terrifying gray. And everyone’s is panicked and starts chattering.

“Hyungsuk-ah, are you okay? What happened?”

“Oh my God!”

“Hyungsuk-ah, are you all right?”

“Just clutched his chest.”

“He was standing there and all of a sudden...”

“Hyungsuk-ah, just try to breathe.”

“Call 911.”

Krystal finally reach her dad, she’s panic and calling her sisters, “Dad. Excuse me. Daddy, what is it? What happened? What happened? Guys, come here!”

“What happened? Did he fall?” Minjung asks, she panicked too.

“Daddy, lay down, okay? You'll be fine. You guys, did anybody see what happened?”

“Over there. Just go get it.” Shinhye asks Jessica to get the phone and Jessica hurriedly take the phone from the corner.

Kris Apartment, Gangnam, Seoul – South Korea

Enough with the whole accident at the Jessica’s wedding, let us go back to Kris’s apartment and see how’s the party going. The place is still packed. Dara is smashed into a hallway, trying to look relaxed. Kris comes up behind her.

“I had no idea it would be such a madhouse.” Kris saying as he shows his gummy smile. Dara turns to him and smiles.

“Hey. Great party.”

“Thanks. Are any guys hitting on you? Do you need me to evaluate their level of interest?”

“They were gay. Even I know that their level of interest was probably low.”

“Well - too bad Chanyeol couldn't make it. I still think you guys would hit it off.”

Dara smiles knowingly - on to Kris's fraud. “Oh okay. Right.” She put the air quotes, “Chanyeol.”

Kris doesn't know how to take that, so he just let it off, “Anyway - I'm on my way to put out some more liquor. But it looks like the food could use some refreshing –” he looks at the food table. Everything is empty, “Would you mind helping? I mean, just refill the chips and stuff?”

“You mean, kind of like --- co-hosting?” Dara looks elated while Kris looks confused.

But hey, he didn’t mind a little help right? “Uhh, okay. The chips are on top of the fridge.” He walks away and Dara smiles big.

A little later, still at Kris’s apartment the party is now even more crowded. Dara weaves her way through the crowd. She's deftly holding six drinks, passing them off to various people as she walks. She stops at the food table, rearranges a few bowls. She catches Kris’s eyes across the room, he's talking to friends. She smiles and gives thumbs up. He gives awkward thumbs up back and returns to his conversation. Dara is going back to the kitchen, mixing up some dip. She chats with a couple of Kris’s friends, very much at home.
