"My whole body hurts so much!" Kangjun whined, jumping out of the car and instantly stretching out his arms to get rid of the tightness in his muscles that formed from sitting in the van for practically 8 hours. 

Rome harshly pushed him away from the side of the van before following him and jumping out of the van as well, not even bothering to look at Kangjun's reaction and just walking towards the other boys. 

Ilhoon laughed at the angry pout on Kangjun's face. "Poor Kangjun." He teased in a baby tone as he leaned close to the other boy. 

Kangjun glared evilly at Ilhoon before aiming a slap on his chest and ignoring the painful whine he received in return as he followed after Rome. 

Jimin laughed as he watched the scene, shaking his head and turning to look at the sleeping Jungkook and V. The three of them were seated at the back beside each other and halfway through the drive, the two boys had fallen asleep and were leaning against each other. 

Jimin smiled, feeling happy that his two lovers were finally getting along for good rather than fighting and not being able to stand each other like before. After staring at the two boys for a good minute, he finally stopped confusing himself and decided that he was no longer going to prank the two boys and just straight forwardly tell them about him regaining his memories. Jimin had planned to carry out the plan that day but since his classmates had invited them to this outing, he quickly accepted since he knew it would be tons of fun. 

Throughout the ride there, Jungkook and V did nothing but care about him. V would constantly lend his shoulder to Jimin while Jungkook shared the small amount of snacks he brought along while buying Jimin more at the rest stops they passed. 

Jimin smiled, remembering the happy smiles Jungkook and V had planted on their faces. *I can't make their happiness go away by pranking them.* He thought, knowing that if he did continue with his prank plan, the two boys would be so mad at him they might not even forgive him this time. *I'll just punish them for pranking Jinyoung in a different way.*

"Jimin-ah." 

Jimin turned around, the smile still on his lips. "Youngjae."

Youngjae smiled and sat in the middle seats so that his legs were still sticking out of the open doors of the van. "I'm glad that you're not going to go through with your plan anymore." 

Jimin had texted Youngjae during the ride that he was thinking of not carrying out the prank anymore, and since Youngjae and Daehyun didn't want anymore trouble, they were glad that Jimin had changed his mind. 

"I don't think that giving them one whole day of bad luck is a good idea anymore anyway." Jimin stated, turning to look back at Jungkook and V. 

"So what are you going to do?" Youngjae asked, resting his arms on the head rest of the seat he was currently occupying. 

Jimin shrugged and looked at him. "I'll probably just tell them the truth now. It's better that way so that we can get back together faster." 

Youngjae smiled and nodded in agreement. 

"Guys! We're going to start walking to the circus now!" Daehyun announced loudly as he ran up to the van, sticking his head in and wrapping his arms around Youngjae's waist.

Jungkook and V's eyes snapped open, their tired gazes moving to the three boys who were looking at them amusingly. 

"Why the would you forget the flashlights!" Kangjun's annoyed voice could be heard clearly by them no matter how far the other boys probably were. 

"I'm sorry! It slipped my mind while I was packing my clothes!" Sungjae retorted, the annoyance also visible in his voice. 

"Yah! Don't hit him!" They heard Rome yell. 

Jimin laughed and smiled widely at Jungkook and V. "Are you guys ready?"

"We need to get going now since we still need to walk to the circus." Daehyun explained as he noticed the confused looks on the two boys faces. 

"We parked beside the place we'll be camping out in and the circus is just a few blocks away." Youngjae added before pointing at the wrist watch he was wearing. "So we should get going now because it's already 10:30 pm and we don't want to be even a single second late."

"Are you guys sure about this?" Jungkook spoke up, a cold shiver going down his spine. 

Jimin blinked at him. "Are you actually scared?" He asked, remembering that Jungkook was the one who wasn't afraid of ghosts and horror among him and V. 

Jungkook bit his bottom lip. "I'm not scared." He replied, looking away from the other boys to hide the nervous look in his eyes.

During the ride, he was constantly checking his phone just in case the mysterious person sent him another text. He was still trying to think of a person who wanted to prank him and why but he really couldn't come up with anyone who would do that to him. His brain was already close to exploding from thinking too much.

"Are you ladies coming or are we going to leave you here?" Chanyeol suddenly appeared beside Daehyun, slightly startling them.

Daehyun placed a hand over his heart. "Don't ing do that." He said, causing for a smirk to form on Chanyeol's face.

"Yeah. We're coming." Youngjae replied, pushing Daehyun away as he jumped out of the car.

Daehyun frowned from Youngjae's actions as he moved to pull one of the chairs down, giving the other three boys enough room to jump out of the car as well before they shut the door and yelled for Xiumin to lock the doors. 

"Did any of you guys happen to bring flashlights?" JB walked over to them and asked. "Apparently, Sungjae forgot to bring flashlights that he was supposed to so none of us have any."

"Junior told me that it wasn't necessary so I didn't pack any." Youngjae said innocently.

Daehyun held onto Youngjae's hand tightly, intertwining their fingers together and shaking his head at JB. "I didn't bring one either."

JB sighed and looked at Jimin, Jungkook and V with hopeful eyes. 

Jimin pouted in return. "I didn't bring one because I thought you guys would bring some..."

"We didn't bring any either but I have a flashlight app on my phone." V said as Jungkook nodded in agreement. 

JB nodded. "Okay, I guess that's good enough. All of us have flashlights on our phones but we were hoping that someone brought real flashlights as well just in case." 

The boys all nodded in understanding.

"Let's go guys!" Hyuk yelled and waved them over. 

Chanyeol smiled and looked at all of them. "Let's go!" 

With that, the group of boys walked towards the circus with heavy steps, trying their best to make out the path even though their only light was the moon. They all had wanted to use their phone flashlights already but Hongbin said that it'd be best if they stuck to the moonlight for now and used their phones at the actual haunted house. 

The walk to the circus was quiet but very comfortable. The boys would occasionally create small talk but since they were too excited and scared to talk, they just smiled at each other and stuck close together. 

They all slightly stopped at the gates of the circus, making it seem like they were still deciding whether or not to continue on; but Rome just took a deep breath and lead the way. 

"Are you sure that it's safe to be here?" FeelDog asked as he clutched onto Baram's arm tightly. "This whole place looks haunted." He looked around the circus, noticing that all the rides seem to be broken. 

The boys all jumped when a screeching sound echoed around them. 

Rome gulped and nodded, keeping his gaze forward as they all walked with careful steps. "Just stick together and it'll be fine."

The boys continued to walk around the circus in search of the haunted house, ignoring the tension that seemed to be growing in the air around them. After walking through the whole circus, they finally found their destination.

"That's the haunted house?" Junior asked, staring at the abandoned and dirty looking ride with disappointment.

"That's why we came on this exact day." Sungjae replied, beginning to walk towards the ride until Ilhoon held out an arm to stop him.

"Wait. We need to split up into small groups." Ilhoon said, earning weird stares from the others. "What?" He asked.

"Are you stupid?" Kangjun asked. "We're going into a ing haunted house that may or may not be infested with ghosts and you want to go in small groups? no. We're all going together."

"I think we should split up too though." Baram said, standing beside Ilhoon to show that he agreed. "Beside, the place could probably only fit small groups each time. We can't all go in together." 

"Fine. Whatever you girls want." Kangjun said and nodded at Sungjae to make the groups.

"Okay." Sungjae looked around at all the boys. "How about we go in the same groups as the van groups?" 

"That sounds good to me." JB nodded as Junior stood closer to him. 

"How does the haunted house work anyway?" FeelDog asked with a confused look on his face. 

Rome sighed and signaled for all the boys to come into a huddle, which they all did without protest. "This is how it works." He started, meeting eyes with all of the boys before continuing his explanation. "There is a cart that you ride to start going into the haunted house before it stops at the actual entrance of the haunted house. There, you will begin to walk on foot around the haunted house until you come to the end which is right there." Rome said and pointed at the far end of the haunted house. "That's how it works."

"How do you know?" Xiumin asked and raised an eyebrow at Rome suspiciously. 

Rome shrugged. "I didn't really trust the guys from the other school so I did a little research first and that's how some of the people said the ride works." 

"So in short," Sungjae spoke up. "We're going to ride on a fun kiddy cart to our worst nightmare?" 

"Pretty much." Rome nodded with a small smile on his lips.

Sungjae scoffed. "Well that sounds like ing fun now doesn't it?" He commented sarcastically.

"Guys, it's already 10:59 pm." V said as he glanced at the time on his phone.

"Holy ." Daehyun said, his grip on Youngjae's hand tightening. "I kind of have a bad feeling about this." 

"Aren't you a little late?" Hongbin said, wrapping an arm around Hyuk's shoulder. "You should've been feeling that way since the ride here."

"I was too busy eating to feel bad." Daehyun replied, causing for Youngjae to shake his head in embarrassment from his boyfriend's weirdness. 

"Well, too late to back out now because it's already 11:00 pm." Chanyeol announced, holding his phone up so that everyone could clearly see the time.

"Let's go ladies." Kangjun smirked, leading the way with Rome as the other boys followed with cautious steps just in case something was to happen.

FeelDog screamed out loud, causing for all the boys to jump up in shock as they all stopped to look at him. 

He lightly chuckled as he held his phone up. "Sorry, my phone just vibrated." He looked at them apologetically. 

Baram angrily punched him on the arm. "ing Gwangsuk! You scared the out of us!" 

The other boys tried to calm their beating hearts as they all glared at FeelDog before continuing to walk closer to the haunted house. 

"So, who goes first?" Ilhoon asked, staring at the carts that had enough room for each person from the groups they made. 

"Let's go first." Hongbin suggested, already walking towards the cart.

" you for not being scared." Chanyeol commented with a huge frown planted on his lips. 

Hyuk chuckled. "Don't be scared. We're all together anyway." He said and patted Chanyeol on the back encouragingly, following after Hongbin and sitting at the very front of the cart.

"Am I seriously sitting alone?" Chanyeol asked in disbelief when he noticed that the other boys in his groups were already seated beside their partners.

The other boys nodded in reply. 

Chanyeol sighed and looked at the other group of boys. "Good bye guys. Tell my mom I love her." He said and shook hands with Jungkook before moving to sit in the very back seat by himself.

"Can I just go with them?" Xiumin asked, looking at his friend sadly. 

Kangjun chuckled and nodded, noticing the happy look that grew on Chanyeol's face. "Go ahead. We wouldn't want Chanyeol to be alone in the cart anyway."

Chanyeol cheered in happiness when Xiumin sat beside him, He instantly wrapped his arms around the other boy thankfully. 

"Why the are we doing this again?" Daehyun asked his boyfriend as he placed the seatbelt around them and clicked it into place. 

Youngjae smirked and lightly patted him on the cheek. "Because we need to have some fun." 

Daehyun frowned and shook his head, his grip on Youngjae's hand still tight as he stared into the dark tunnel. 

Hongbin looked back at all the boys, checking that they were all wearing their seatbelts. "We'll be going now." He announced and smiled, nodding for Rome to press on the button that would begin the ride.

"We'll meet at the end of this cart ride okay?" Sungjae said. "In that way, we'll all be able to walk around the haunted house together." He finished, earning a small nod from Hyuk.

"Let's go!" Junior excitedly yelled ou, throwing his arms up in the air.

JB chuckled and had his phone in his hand as he turned the flashlight on, lighting the way inside the tunnel. 

Rome smirked and pressed on the button, watching as the ride came to life and the cart began to move forward. 

They all took a slight step into the tunnel to watch the cart begin riding deeper into the dark tunnel.

" you guys for making me do this!" Chanyeol's voice could be heard as the cart disappeared around the corner of a turn. 

Another cart appeared from behind a closed wall, stopping right in front of the seven boys. 

"This is it." Ilhoon said, following after an excited Sungjae who immediately sat in the very front seat. 

"You guys go sit and I'll press the button and quickly jump on." Rome said, pushing Kangjun forward and towards the seats behind Sungjae and Ilhoon. 

"Wait." Jimin said, looking at Jungkook and V worriedly. "That means I have to sit alone then..." 

Jungkook and V glanced at each other, mentally making a plan together on what they should do.

"Go sit with him." Jungkook told V. "I'll sit in the back by myself." 

"No." Jimin shook his head in disapproval. "I can't make you sit by yourself just because I'm a little scared."

Jungkook smiled softly, lightly patting Jimin on the cheek. "Don't worry about me. I'm not scared of ghosts." 

*Still.* Jimin thought in protest.

"How about this then." Kangjun said, pushing the three of them forward towards the seats behind Sungjae and Ilhoon. "You three can sit in the seats in between and me and Rome will seat in the back." 

"Are you sure?" Jimin asked as he bit his bottom lip. 

Rome smiled. "It's okay Jimin. Me and Kangjun aren't that scared right now anyway."

A small smile formed on Jimin's face. He couldn't help but feel happy and thankful that his classmates were so sweet and kind to him. 

"Okay then..." He replied, slipping into the seat behind the waiting Ilhoon and Sungjae while V moved to sit beside him. 

The other boys followed, sitting in their own seats and wearing their seatbelts except for Kangjun who had to wait for his partner to jump in after. 

"Is everybody ready?" Rome asked, his hand hovering over the big red button. 

The boys gulped and nodded, their hearts both scared and excited.

"Let's go then!" Rome exclaimed before slamming his hand on the button, running to jump in the space beside Kangjun as the ride began to move forward.

Kangjun quickly wrapped the seatbelt around Rome.

"This is so ing cool..." Sungjae commented as they turned the corner and went deeper into the tunnel. 

V lifted his phone up and put his flashlight on, slightly lighting up the path in front of them. 

"Does anyone else think that it's weird that this ride that looks like absolute still works?" Jungkook asked as he looked up at the tunnel's ceiling. 

"Don't make this scarier than it already is Jeon Jungkook." V replied as he gripped onto his phone tightly. 

The boys looked around the walls of the tunnel, noticing how it was made of rocks which made it look like an underground cave. 

"Do you think the haunted house is going to go underground?" Ilhoon asked, slightly glancing over his shoulder at the other boys. 

"I don't think they would make it---" Kangjun's voice was cut off as the cart suddenly jerked downwards. "Underground!" He yelled out, finishing his sentence. 

The nine boys screamed from both fear and excitement, their hearts beating fast from the sudden downhill movement. The cart was back to racing forward, the sound of the wheel going over the metal railings echoing around the dark walls of the tunnel. 

"If this ride is already scary as , I don't think I'll be able to handle the haunted house." Jimin spoke up, trying to calm down his beating heart.

V forced a small smile on his face as he moved over to hold Jimin's hand. "It's okay. We can be scared together." V admitted in hopes of making Jimin feel better. 

"Yeah Jimin." Jungkook said, a smirk on his lips. "V is a scaredy cat when it comes to things like this." 

"Shut up Jeon Jungkook." V spat out, his eyes focused ahead.

"Guys, I think we're going up." Sungjae announced as the ride started moving up a hill.

Kangjun looked in between the boys' heads. "Did we ride the right ride because I think we're on a ing roller coaster instead of a cart that leads to a haunted house."

Suddenly, a loud horror scream echoed around the tunnel, causing for Kangjun to squeal and link arms with Rome. "Never mind! This is the right ride!" 

Rome laughed and shook his head at Kangjun, being able to feel the way his best friend was shaking beside him. He smiled and slipped his hand into Kangjun's. 

"Don't let go of my hand." He told his best friend, giving Kangjun's hand a little squeeze for encouragement. 

The ride began to take many sharp turns and for some odd reason, the air around the tunnel began to grow scary; or maybe it was just the fog that was growing all around them. 

Suddenly, scary music started to play loudly around them. 

"Holy ." Kangjun said, lifting his hand over his ears to block out the sound.

"I really don't like this anymore." Ilhoon said, leaning closer to Sungjae. 

The sound seemed to be getting louder and louder as they continued going down the tunnel. Sungjae, Jungkook and Rome seemed to still be pretty calm unlike the other boys who were trying so hard to not focus on the scary sound that echoed into their ears. 

"Who was the who thought of doing this again?" Kangjun pressed his hand firmly against his ears.

Rome chuckled and tried to take a hold of Kangjun's hand again. 

"Don't do that! I'm trying to block out the sound you !" Kangjun swung his elbow at Rome, hitting his best friend on the arm. 

"Boo!" Jungkook yelled out as he leaned his head in the space between Jimin and V's head.

V and Jimin screamed and slightly jumped in their seats, glaring murderously at Jungkook when they realized that it was him. 

"Don't ing do that!" Jimin exclaimed and shoved Jungkook's forehead back.

Jungkook shrugged and an amused smirk formed on his lips.

Ilhoon was busy humming a tune loudly, keeping his eyes fixed on his shoes. A hand suddenly reached out and grabbed his arm, causing for a loud scream to come out of his mouth. " my life! I want to ing go home! I hate you guys so much! ing ! I give up already!" 

"Calm the down Ilhoon!" Sungjae yelled out. "That was just me!" He stated, pointing at his hand which was holding onto Ilhoon's arm. 

Ilhoon glared murderously at him. "Don't do that!" He exclaimed, aiming a hard slap on Sungjae's arm. 

"We're at the end!" V announced, shaking his phone and stopping to directly point the light at the big double doors at the end of the tunnel. 

"Finally." Kangjun breathed out and removed his hands over his mouth as the cart came to a stop. 

The scary music stopped playing and they all took deep breaths to calm themselves down, mentally telling themselves that everything was fine now. 

Suddenly, each of them was grabbed on the arm by a hand out of the fog and they all screamed out loud except for Jungkook who just smirked when he noticed who had grabbed him. 

" you Baram!" Kangjun yelled out when the boys all came out of the shadows laughing. 

"Welcome ladies." FeelDog greeted as he stood in front of the cart with a smile on his face. 

The seven boys stepped out of the cart while glaring at the other group of boys for scaring them. 

All the boys stood in front of the big double doors, staring at it silently as if they were all contemplating whether or not they should continue -like they really had a choice now-. 

"Well, let's go." Rome spoke up, breaking the silence.

"I'm going to ing kill you guys after this." Chanyeol stated, taking his phone out and getting his flashlight ready.

Jimin continued to stare at the door, his heart beating extra faster from fear. Two hands suddenly reached out to grab each of his hand. He looked on either side of him, his eyes meeting Jungkook and V's.

"We're here for you Jimin." V smiled sweetly.

Jungkook squeezed his hand in support. "So don't be scared." 

Jimin smiled and nodded at them, his gaze moving forward towards the doors again. *And this is why I'm so lucky to have both of them.* He thought, a small smile forming on his lips.

Xiumin looked around at all the boys. "Remember guys. Stick together no matter what!" He exclaimed, earning nods of agreement from the other boys. 

"Let's go!" Kangjun yelled out and pressed the button he found on the side, making the big double doors slide open.

Kangjun quickly moved to stand beside Rome. " you for suggesting this Rome." He told his best friend in a somewhat annoyed voice.

Rome smirked and winked at his best friend. "You're welcome." 

And with that, the boys slowly walked into the haunted house which may or may not have ghosts in it.
