"The bus is taking so ing long." Taehyung complained as he blocked the sun with his hand, looking at the end of the street to see if the bus was coming. When he didn't see anything, he let out a quiet groan as he crossed his arms over his chest, an annoyed look on his face. "Why is everything so ed up today? First of all, Ilhoon was a complete dickhead this morning for waking me up so damn early for no reason. Next, there was no hot water in our dorm. Third, the breakfast special at the canteen closed earlier than usual. Then Mr. Jung came out of nowhere and made me help him with school work on a ing Saturday. Now the bus is taking so damn long!" He whined as he turned around to look at Jungkook.

Jungkook was busy looking through his phone, his eyes focused on whatever he was looking at. 

"Jungkook!" V angrily yelled out. 

Jungkook slightly jumped as he looked up from his phone confusedly, meeting eyes with V. "Were you saying something?" Jungkook blinked at him.

V sulked. "This day ing ." He said, a pout forming on his lips. 

Jungkook put his phone away as he moved towards V, slipping his hands into his pockets like he usually did. He nodded at V, signaling for him to turn around. "Look." 

V glanced over his shoulder and saw the bus approaching causing for a huge smile to form on his face. "Finally!" He excitedly exclaimed.

Jungkook chuckled and stood beside V, taking out his bus pass as the bus stopped in front of them. "Let's go then. We only have a few hours left to buy Jimin's gift."

V smiled and nodded, the two of them entering the bus that would drive them to the mall.

Since it was their 100 day anniversary yesterday, the two boys had come up with a plan and decided to do something special for Jimin. They would have done it earlier and on the actual day, but Jimin was already busy because of the talent show. That's how Jungkook and V ended up having to move the date of their special event. The two of them were going to make it extra special and wanted to give Jimin many expensive gifts and a wonderful dinner at a grand restaurant. Unfortunately, they were two teenage boys who had no job and only have money from allowances and money they have saved up. In the end, they'll only be able to get Jimin one gift and a nice date at the amusement park. But when the two lover boys look at it, Jimin would enjoy the simple date way more. 

The bus reached the mall in half an hour, giving the boys exactly two hours to walk around the mall and shop. The date they were planning wasn't until tomorrow, but they wanted to get things ready earlier so that nothing would go wrong. 

"So, what are you planning to get Jimin?" Jungkook asked as they walked into the mall, the cold air conditioning cooling their warm bodies.

V smirked and shook his head slowly. "I'm not telling you." He teasingly stated.

Jungkook looked at him weirdly. "What the is wrong with you?"

"If I tell you, you might copy me." V stuck his tongue out at Jungkook before beginning to walk away calmly.

Jungkook sighed as he watched V walk away. *I swear, there is something wrong with his brain.* He thought as he followed after V, thinking of the gift he would be buying for Jimin.

They walked into the store that Jimin frequently visited, the worker greeting them happily with a smile and a bow. They quickly returned the bow as they walked fully into the store, scanning the walls of different types of shoes.

"So you're planning to buy him new shoes?" Jungkook asked as he grabbed a shoe, looking at it up close before returning it back to its rightful place.

V help up a finger over his lips as he hushed Jungkook. "Don't talk second best. I'm trying to think."

Jungkook glared at V as he held in the urge to punch the latter, the nickname making him angry like it always did. He let out a quiet sigh of anger before turning around and walking away from V, moving to the snapbacks area of the store. 

*Calm down Jungkook. Think of Jimin and how mad he would be if you gave Taehyung a black eye.* Jungkook took in a deep breath as he looked at the different snapbacks on the wall, taking a hold of a black hat that caught his eyes. He ran his thumb over the design on the front, a smile forming on his face at the thought of Jimin wearing it. *He would look so good in this.* Jungkook thought before looking back up towards the wall, biting his lip at all the other snapbacks that was gaining his attention. *But Jimin would look good in those too.* Jungkook began to contemplate on which snapback he should buy, wanting so much to just buy all of them for Jimin; but he knew how impossible that was.

"Hey." V came up from behind Jungkook, a shoe box in his arms. "Did you find something?"

Jungkook pouted, placing the snapback back on the wall. "No. I don't know which one to get him."

V tapped his chin as he also looked through the rows of hats. "Honestly, all of those would look good on Jimin."

"That's what I thought too." Jungkook mumbled, looking down towards the ground. 

V chuckled as he flicked Jungkook on the cheek. "Then just get him whichever you want to see him wear. Either way, he would look good in it." 

Jungkook hesitated as he stared at the first snapback that he held. He took it off the wall again before turning to look at V, lightly gripping the snapback in his hand.

"Alright then. I'm done." Jungkook said as he gave V a small smile.

V returned the smile and patted him on the shoulder, nodding towards the cashier. "Then let's pay so we can go eat. I'm kind of hungry." He stated while patting his stomach.

Jungkook nodded in agreement, the two of them moving towards the cashier. 

"Hey!"

Jungkook and V turned around, noticing two younger looking boys stomping towards them.

"That's my hat! Give it back!" One of the boys angrily stated as they stopped in front of Jungkook and V. 

V and Jungkook looked at each other in confusion before turning back towards the boys.

"Excuse me?" V asked, staring at the two boys oddly. 

"That's his hat. He's been saving up money to buy that hat." The other boy defended, taking a step closer to V and Jungkook.

"Then it's not his hat yet since he didn't buy it yet, es." V muttered under his breath, earning a punch on the side from Jungkook. 

Jungkook called over one of the workers who came to them in the blink of an eye. "Yes?" She asked, looking back and forth between the four boys.

Jungkook held up the snapback. "Do you have any more of these hats?" He asked.

The worker took the hat in her hands and looked at the tag on the back of it before handing it back to Jungkook. "I can check in the back if we still have any in stock." She said before excusing herself, disappearing into the room behind the cashier.

The two boys continued to glare at Jungkook and V, probably thinking bad things about them. 

V furrowed his eyebrows at them. "How old are you two?" He  asked out of curiosity.

"Sixteen." The boy who also wants the hat simply answered, crossing his arms over his chest.

V gave them a serious expression. "Then you two better stop glaring at your elders before I scoop your eyes out." V spoke in a strong voice as he warned them.

The other boy scoffed as he rolled his eyes. "We don't give a if your older."

V's eyes slightly widened as he stared at the boy, shocked by his words. "What the did you just say?" 

Jungkook could feel V getting tense beside him, leading him to lightly nudge the latter on the side in hopes of sending the signal for him to calm down. V nudged him back harder, telepathically telling him to shut up and go with it. 

The worker reappeared, an apologetic look on her face. "I'm sorry but we don't have any more of those hats in stock. That is our last one." 

Jungkook and the boy locked eyes with one another.

"The only thing I could do is to order another one and one of you guys can wait till it arrives." The worker said, trying to lower the tension that was growing in the room. 

V coughed into his fist as he looked at the worker. "When would the order arrive?" 

"The earliest it could come would probably be two weeks, but it usually depends." She explained, biting her lip as she looked back and forth between Jungkook and the boy. 

"You should give the hat to us." The boy spoke up, smirking at Jungkook. "Since you're the hyung, it would be the right thing to do for a dongsaeng."

V looked at him in disbelief. "You should really talk nicely before I make you." 

"Yah, Ajhussi." His friend said, looking at V with a bored expression. "No one wants to hear you talk either." 

"This kid--" V said through gritted teeth as he took a step forward, clenching his hands into fists.

Jungkook held an arm out in front of V before taking a step forward himself. "You two boys should really learn some manners. First of all, treat us with some respect. Secondly, we got this hat first. So I guess you'll have to wait a little longer before you can get your own." 

The boy glared angrily as he reached out and grabbed the hat, trying to pull it away from Jungkook who was gripping onto it tightly. 

"Let go!"

Jungkook shook his head, pulling the snapback closer to him. "No." 

"Please stop." The worker said as he tried to get in between the two boys, looking at them with pleading eyes. "We can try to find a way to work this out." 

V looked at the worker in pity as he wrapped his arm around Jungkook's shoulder, roughly pulling him back. The snapback slipped out of Jungkook's hand from the impact of V's pull, causing for the younger boy to get a hold of it instead.

"Yes!" He cheered in victory as he smirked at Jungkook. "Too bad ajhussi!" He teasingly remarked before running up to the cashier with his friend who was also cheering in happiness.

Jungkook snapped his head towards V. "What the !"

V sighed before turning to the worker, bowing as he gave her the shoe box he was holding. "We'll be leaving. Sorry for the trouble." He calmly told her before grabbing Jungkook's hand and leading -or more like dragging- him out of the store.

Once they were far away from the store, Jungkook harshly pulled his hand away from V as he glared at him.

V looked at Jungkook. "Please don't look at me that way." He whispered. 

" you Kim Taehyung. I can't believe you let that kid have the hat." Jungkook angrily said as he crossed his arms over his chest.

V sighed out of frustration. "We don't have to buy the hat now. I'm sure we can find a different time to give our gifts to Jimin. We'll just take him out on a date tomorrow." 

Jungkook looked at V. "I'm not mad because of that. I'm mad because that ing kid disrespected us. He doesn't deserve the hat. He needs to learn and be patient." 

"Jungkook, just let it go. I was pissed too but he's just a kid. We were like him once too." V stated. "Honestly, we're still like that now."

"You know," Jungkook said as he could feel his heart racing from the anger that was rising in him. "Just because you're having a ty day doesn't mean you have to ruin mine." 

V slightly gawked at Jungkook. "What the is wrong with you Jeon Jungkook?"

"You're my ing problem!" Jungkook yelled out as he exploded. "I can't take all this bull mood changes we keep having! First we're on the same side then the next we're against each other! I can't believe I even thought I might like you!" 

V blinked at Jungkook in surprise.

Jungkook realized what he said as he lifted a hand over his mouth, his eyes wide as he looked at V.

"You... like me?" V asked in shock, his heart beating faster. 

"No!" Jungkook answered a little too quickly as he anxiously shook his head. "I mean, that was a mistake. I didn't say anything. Forget that." 

"You like me." V said it more like it was a fact this time. 

"I don't ing like you." Jungkook said as he took a step away from V. "Just forget everything I said."

V smirked at Jungkook. He doesn't know why but he kind of felt happy at the thought of Jungkook liking him. He does agree with how the two of them have weird mixed feelings towards one another, but for some reason, he actually enjoyed having Jungkook around now compared to when he couldn't even stand being in the same room as the latter. 

*I might actually like you too.* V thought as the smirk on his face turned into a small smile.

"Just forget what I said." Jungkook insisted as he waved a hand at V. "I didn't mean to say any of that." 

*Looks like he might really not like me.* V slightly sulked. "What if I want you to mean it?" He quietly mumbled.

Jungkook looked at him. "What?"

"Nothing." V sighed before beginning to walk away from Jungkook.

Actually, Jungkook had heard what V said. 

*What does he mean?* Jungkook thought as he ran after V, grabbing the boys shoulder and turning him around so that they were facing each other again.

"Do you like me Kim Taehyung?" Jungkook asked calmly.

V shook his head in reply. "No." 

Jungkook narrowed his eyes at V. 

The two boys looked into each other's eyes, trying to read what the other was thinking. They both could deny to the other about not having any feelings, but they had to admit to themselves that deep down, there might really be a possibility of growing feelings; feelings that they never knew could be developed between the two of them.

Suddenly, a loud crashing sound snapped them back to reality. 

They snapped their heads to the direction of the sound, seeing glass pieces on the ground everywhere.

"How could you drop it!" A man angrily yelled at another man who looked extremely frightened. "We need this glass window fixed by the end of today or the store will have to stay closed for another day!"

The other man frantically bowed in apology, before the two of them walked away.

Jungkook felt an uneasy feeling enter his stomach. Broken glass? That may seem like nothing to other people but to Jungkook, it brought a bad feeling. 

Jungkook and V met eyes with each other again. V lightly bit his bottom lip before turning his attention back to the broken glass pieces as Jungkook looked away and moved his eyes towards the ground instead. 

The air around them slowly became awkward as the thought of the situation a few seconds ago entered their minds again. 

The two of them looked up at one another.

"Are you sure you don't like me?" They asked in unison.

They awkwardly looked away from each other again, the both of their hearts beating faster than before.

*Ring.**Ring.*

Jungkook slightly jumped as he reached into his pocket, taking his phone out and looking at the screen. 

"Kikwang hyung?" Jungkook raised an eyebrow before answering the call and putting the phone on speaker, wanting for V to hear the conversation as well since he couldn't think of any reasons for Kikwang to call him.

"Jungkook!" Kikwang voice instantly came out of the phone once the call was answered. "Do you know where V is?" 

"We're together right now hyung." Jungkook stated as he and V leaned closer to the phone. "Is something wrong?"

"It's Jimin!" Kikwang yelled as he panted into the phone.

Jungkook and V looked at each other with concerned eyes. 

"What about him?" V asked as he leaned even closer to the phone.

Jungkook bit his bottom lip as he stared at the phone, the uneasy feeling returning to his stomach. 

"He got into an accident! He's at the hospital!"
