I’m on the lookout of everything.

TEN

Her phone buzzed as she was in the kitchen preparing dinner for the both of them. She put the meal on low heat and fetched her phone. “Yixing ^_^” was displayed as the caller ID. Immediately, she swiped the accept button then settled the speaker on and put the phone on the table.

“Hello!” she answered happily

“Good evening cous, how are you doing?” Yixing greeted with his usual soft voice

“I’m doing great, I’m currently preparing dinner” she said as she placed the plates on the table

“Oh sorry I think I disturbed you. Well I will make it short then; remember at the picnic when I told you about Zelo’s new teacher?” Yixing started and after hearing a hum from his cousin, he continued:

“Well I talked to him and he said that he’s ready to come starting tomorrow morning” The doctor finished

“Tomorrow?! Fabulous! I’ll be waiting for him before going to my classes; you know to explain some things to him. By the way thanks oppa” she sincerely said with a smile.

“No problem, it’s my pleasure helping you taking care of Zelo. He deserves good education” Yixing answered

“I really appreciate it. Now if you don’t mind I need to finish setting the table. Good night and thanks again Yixing!” the girl bid her cousin goodbye

“It’s alright. Good night to you too. I’m hanging up~” Yixing finally said before ending the call

The next day she woke up and took a shower, made breakfast then woke Zelo up to eat. After that she went upstairs to prepare herself but soon went down when she heard the doorbell ring. Skipping to the door, the girl opened it and there stood a rather short boy with short brown hair and huge doe eyes. He had a milky skin and plump lips, his well being tidily dressed in a brown and green V-neck knitted top and black pants, and she could almost feel the sensation of kindness radiating from him.

“Good morning. Do Kyungsoo. And I am here to take care of Zelo.” The guy greeted with a smiled and she didn’t fail to notice how his lips formed a heart when he did so.

“Good Morning! Please go in” the girl greeted back and opened the door wider for him to enter.

“Zelo~ come and see who came!” she called and heard some noises coming from the kitchen before the tall kid came running out with an excited smile on his face, but he soon lowered his pace and cluelessness filled his face as he stared confusedly at the stranger.

The short, cute doe eyed boy was obviously not his Daehyun Hyung.

She glanced at Kyungsoo and he was rather surprised by the height of the younger boy and couldn’t help but chuckle at how his eyes grew so wide and almost found that cute.

“Zelo, this is Kyungsoo hyung, he will stay with you here and you two will have fun together, okay?” she introduced the new guy while holding both of the child’s hands.

“Okay!! Hello Kyungsoo hyung!!” Zelo’s face turned into a cheerful one and Kyungsoo couldn’t help but beam at him.

“So this is the kitchen; Zelo mostly likes chocolate chip cookies, I’m storing those in the upper left counter. Other food is either in the fridge or in the rack at the right. There are two bathrooms: one at your left and another one upstairs. At your right is the living room; this is where Zelo sleeps and watches TV, Spongebob airs at 3pm and he likes it so much. Oh, and if he ever dirties his clothes, you can find clean outfits in the second drawer here” the girl explained thoroughly almost all what Kyungsoo needed to know about Zelo and the house.

“Alright boys I’m going, have fun! Bye Zelo!!” the girls bid them goodbye after hearing Daehyun’s car honking outside her house.

“Bye Noona!!” Zelo cheerfully said waving at the girl while Kyungsoo slightly bowed with a smile.

“Okay Zelo did you finish your breakfast?” Kyungsoo asked after the girl went.

“Oh! Not yet!!” Zelo snapped in realization and skipped back to the kitchen while Kyungsoo followed behind.

The boy almost hugged his bowl of chocolate cereals and resumed munching on them, and Kyungsoo couldn’t help but chuckle. Soon, Zelo finished eating and Kyungsoo took him to the bathroom to brush his teeth.

Kyungsoo was going to hold up the toothbrush for him when suddenly Zelo grabbed it and started cheerfully singing:

“Hold the toothbrush and squeeze out some toothpaste. Prettily, smilingly, let's brush our teeth. Upper teeth, lower teeth, let's brush our teeth. chee-kah chee-kah chee-chee. This way, That way, let's brush our teeth. chee-kah chee-kah!!” Zelo sang happily while brushing his teeth and Kyungsoo smiled proudly at him.

The two headed to the living room and Zelo plopped on the mattress and held his computer, and with few fast clicks, he opened Paint and started drawing. Kyungsoo looked weirdly at him and then approached him to ask.

“Zelo, what are you doing?” Kyungsoo sweetly questioned the kid as he sat at his side.

“Zelo is drawing hyung!!” Zelo cheerfully replied, eyes still glued to the screen and Kyungsoo was a bit taken aback but nevertheless kept watching how concentrated the younger boy was with painting, and how he adorably took glances at the elder’s clothes to check the colors; Kyungsoo found him so cute.

“Jajjan!! What does Kyungsoo hyung think?!” the kid finally turned to Kyungsoo with a huge proud smile plastered on his face, anticipating the elder’s response.

“It’s quite cute!! Wow, You’re so talented Zelo-ah!!” the shorter boy clapped encouragingly and he could see Zelo’s eyes sparkling after hearing his comment as the kid cracked a victory laugh.

Kyungsoo looked again at the drawing, it was so adorable, how Zelo drew his eyes so huge, how he actually noticed Kyungsoo’s heart-shaped lips when he smiled, and how he even made his socks; Kyungsoo was sure he and Zelo will make good friends.

“Zelo, do you know how to write hyung’s name?” Kyungsoo asked the boy and Zelo gave him a confused look after unsurely shaking his head innocently, and Kyungsoo knew exactly what his first lesson for Zelo was.
