She was staring at the window when the flight attendant broke the silence. After hearing the announcement, she fastens her seatbelt and continues staring at the window. She is indeed a beautiful girl; she is always compared as pretty as a flower since her childhood years. She has a perfect smile that match her sparkling eyes. But at this moment, you cannot see anything but sorrow on her eyes.

“Miss, we will be going directly at the Director’s office, I mean your fathers office as soon as we arrive” Yumi, her personal assistant said

“Okay” she coldly answered and forced a smile

As the plane landed at the airport, they went directly at her father’s office riding the limo which has been waiting for them back at the airport.

• DIRECTOR’S OFFICE-

“My dear daughter you have arrived safely” her father said, spreading his arms to embrace her daughter but she move to another direction

“Luckily, it didn’t crashed like what I have imagined” she said in a minimal voice but she knows her father hears it

“Can I have a moment with my daughter?” The director said to Yumi

“Yes Director. Miss, I will just be outside if you need me” Yumi said and made her exit

The room was in deep silence. She was sitting on the couch with her legs crossed and staring blankly at the painting across her.

The Director was just sitting quietly at his swivel chair looking for the best timing to talk to her daughter.

“So…….. you will be meeting tomorrow” The Director started the conversation

She just looked at him for a few seconds and back staring again at the painting.

“We will have a dinner with him and his family. He came from a good background. He can provide you with anything my dear” The Director said trying to persuade her daughter but it didn’t work

“Okay” she said and stood up

As she was about to reach for the doorknob……

“Why don’t you go shopping today my dear and find also your dress for tomorrow” her father said while flashing a bright smile trying to persuade her daughter again

BUT…. It didn’t work AGAIN..

“Im a little tired and it will be more fun to sleep than doing that.” She said and made her exit

“Alright, take care my dear” The Director said even if she didn’t heard it

AT HER ROOM

”Aissshh… I hate this life” She screams so loud the moment she enters the room and lay flat on her bed

She is IM YOON A, the only daughter of Im Corporations, one of the biggest and leading companies not only in South Korea but whole Asia as well.

“My life was already perfect at the states and then I’ll just suddenly be going to get married to a total stranger. Aaarghhhh Why me? Why?” she screams

Yoona noticed that her room was still the same except for the bed size and a little decoration.

“Where have you been last night?” his mother asked as he enters the living room.

“Outside, looking for fresh air” he answered

“Really? So you haven’t found fresh air until 2 in the morning? Butler Kang told me everything” His mother said raising an eyebrow

“Exactly Mom, Good analysis” he said while sitting beside her mom

“What are you still doing here? Go and prepare yourself, we only have few hours left” his mother said

“Aish…mom, I told you I am not going” he said making a face

“For heaven sake my son, are we going to argue again? We have discussed this matter so many times already” his mother said and was already pissed

“We? I haven’t agreed to any of our discussions” he said

“Enough! If I said you’re getting married, you are getting married and that’s final. Get yourself a descent look, we don’t want to disappoint Director Im” his father said in a very stern voice as he enters the scene

He then suddenly stood up and went upstairs obeying his fathers order.

He is LEE NICHKHUN, the stubborn child of Lee family. He has been feared by guys since he leads the school gang but adored by every girl since he has the most charming face on earth as they described him. His orders are always obeyed but when his father speaks, he turns out to be as coward as a chicken.

The Lee family is on the most luxurious restaurant in Seoul. Mr. Lee is sitting on the left most side of the table followed by his wife and then his son, Nichkhun.

After a few minutes of waiting, the Director and her daughter arrived

“Good evening everyone” Director Im greeted

“Good evening Director” Mr. Lee said while giving a bow as well as his wife and son

As soon as everyone was settled, they started to eat their dinner.

“So, this is Nichkhun?” Director Im asked

“Deh, Director” Mr. Lee answered and then glared to Nichkhun

Nichkhun stood up and made a 90 degrees bow.

“Good evening Director Im. I am Lee Nichkhun, I am pleased to meet you tonight and your daughter.” He said

“You have a great man here Mr. Lee” Director Im complimented

“Great huh? Like you don’t know me” he said to himself

“This is my only daughter, the heiress of Im Corporations” Director Im proudly said and Yoona forced a smile

“Good evening Mr. and Mrs. Lee. I am Im Yoon A and its nice to finally meet you tonight” She said in straight English and made a genuine smile

“She has just arrived yesterday from the states.” Director Im said

“No wonder she talked in straight English” Mr. Lee complimented

“You are indeed a pretty girl my dear” Mrs. Lee said

“Thanks” she shyly said

Both parties are busy talking to each other about other details to their wedding but the soon to be bride and groom are also busy screaming and cursing in their thoughts.

“Is he the one Im going to get married? Duh! Surely Appa don’t know how to choose Eeew” Yoona cursed in her thoughts

“Just like any rich girl. Spoiled brat but she’s cute anyway” Khun thought while looking at her

“Excuse me for a while. I need to go the powder room” Yoona said and excused her

As soon as she enters the powder room, she cannot control her emotions anymore that is why she screamed so loud. Luckily, she was the only one inside.

“Argh…I don’t want to get married. So much more to him… aish… I don’t like him at all, not his face, his looks not everything” She screams facing the big mirror infront

She then fixed herself and went out of the powder room. She was taken aback when she saw the man she’s cursing a while a go leaning his back on the wall across the powder room.

“Hey there Princess” he smirk while walking towards her

“Yah!, don’t you ever call me like that” she said

“What?  Princess? Don’t you like it?” he said and winked at her

“I don’t like it so stop messing me around. By the way, why are you here?” she burst out

“Alright. How about…. Your Highness?” he said and tries to make a bow

“Yah, you little punk. Shut your mouth or else I’ll kick you hard enough” She sain in straight English

“Oh…. The princess is pissed” He said

“Arghhh.. what is your problem? You know what, I DON’T LIKE YOU and I DON’T WANT to get married with someone like you. In your dreams.” She said

“Are you trying to say that I agreed to get married to a spoiled brat like you?” He asked

“What did you call me?” she said raising an eyebrow

“SPOILED BRAT” he slowly said

“Spoiled brat huh? Then how about you? Your even worst than a mafia gangster Eeew” she said and tries to hide her laughter

They continue throwing words and name calling with each other not knowing that they are already close to each other, their face are only an inch away. They can already hear each others breathing. After realizing their situation, Khun tried to tease Yoona by leaning a bit to kiss her.

“Yah! Get away from me you jerk.” Yoona said and push Khun

As she was about to push him, she suddenly tripped down and Khun tries to catch her. They ended up both stumbled on the floor

When Yoona open her eyes, she saw herself on top of him with their lips meeting each other. She quickly move away from him and saw Khun showing a full bright smile, enjoying the moment.

“Isn’t it too early for our honeymoon?” Khun naughtily said and made a soft chuckle

Yoona quickly get up, fixed herself and walk away from him.

The dinner continues with both of them busy glaring to each other. Khun wasn’t over with his little tricks. He will touch or his lips while looking at her that made her more pissed. But Yoona would not give up without a fight. She slowly fixes her sitting position and give a quick kick to Khun under the table, smiling and enjoying  while his in pain.

Days……

Weeks…..  passed.

Yoona and Nichkhun continuously seeing each other through an arranged date, arranged strolling at the beach,  arranged dinner. Everything was arranged in preparation for their arranged marriage.

Khun was on his room, lying down on his bed.

“I can’t believe I am already getting married” he thought

“ I should be happy. I got a perfect wife. Beautiful, rich……. But …….. she don’t love me” he said in a sad tone

Khun had already fall in love with Yoona after those continuous dates with her. He loves to because he loves the way screams; it is musical to his ears. But what can he do? He can never make her fall in love with him.

Yoona was on her bed, crying.

“Why is everything against my plan? I never dreamed to get married at this very young age and to a man I didn’t even know. If Eomma was just here, this would not have happen” Yoona said while hugging her pillow

ONE MONTH BEFORE THE WEDDING

“What a day!” khun said while slumping his body to the couch.

He just arrive from the mall, busy tailing around Yoona bringing those countless shopping bags.

“You are totally head over heels in love with this girl Lee Nichkhun. It’s not like you, how can a guy like me would do stupid things for a girl” He said

“Im Yoon A. If you just can hear my heart beating then you would know that it will only beat for you” he added

WEDDING DAY

Yoona was on her room staring blankly at the white dress lying on top of her bed.

“Miss, are you dressed already? Your father is already waiting downstairs” Yumi asked outside her door

“Just give me an hour and I’ll be ready” she said

“Okay Miss” Yumi said

She then slowly pick up the wedding dress and start to get herself ready.

“Yoona, you are so beautiful” she said to her reflection in the mirror while fixing her veil.

“You should be happy Yoona, you’ve got a handsome husband and his not bad at all. You have seen that his attitude changed this past few months” she added

Before going out, she took an old photo from her wallet

“Im sorry grey dolphin. I broke our promise. I am going to get married now. I’ll just wear this ring so that it will still feel that you are still there” 

She then open the drawer and took a ring on her jewelry box, she then slide it to her necklace as its pendant.

Here’s come the bride…..

The big door of the church opens and then Yoona appeared beautiful in her wedding dress. Everyone’s eyes is on her especially Khun.

“How can a woman in a wedding dress be beautiful as you” he thought while his eyes are glued on her.

“Why are you smiling?” Yoona asked as he reached Khun

“Nothing, you are just so beautiful” he said

“Thanks. You are also amazing tonight.” She compliments him and then shows her genuine smile

The priest starts the ceremony. Khun cannot help himself at looking Yoona. As Khun was staring at her, something catch his attention.

“Yoona, where do you get that ring?” he whispered to her ear

“ Huh? What ring?” she asked

“The ring on your necklace” he said in a low voice

“This?” she asked while looking at the ring.

“This? It is a gift from my old friend” she said

“Okay” he said

…………………………..

“Do you take Yoona as your lawfully wedded wife?” the priest asked

He then looked at Yoona and ……

“I do” he answered

“Yoona, do you take this man as your lawfully wedded husband?” the priest asked

Yoona was speechless, she felt her chest tighten. She tries to answer but no voice comes out. She then looked at Khun, he was just smiling at her but she knows that he was trembling inside.

From a peaceful audience, people are now starting to make buzzes. Yoona looks at Khun again… he slowly comes closer to her and whisper to her ear..

“Calm down pink bunny, dint be too nervous for our wedding.” He calmly said and naughtily smiles to her.

Yoona was shocked with his words, she only utters the word

“Grey……”

“Deh, its me, grey dolphin” Khun said

The moment she hears that, tears fall down from her eyes. She then calm herself and slowly said

“ I DO” she utters

“I pronounce you, Husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride” the priest said

Khun slowly opens her veil and there reveal her face still having teary eyes. He caresses her cheeks and then slowly moves closer to her. He can hear her soft sobs, as he tilt his head a little she closed her eyes and then their lips met. He kissed her gently and passionately and Yoona kissed him back.

FLASHBACK

It was Yoona’s 10^th birthday. She was celebrating a costume party at their mansions garden. There are many children but it seems that the birthday girl was not happy at all. Yoona was just sitting on a swing sadly.

“Hey there birthday girl” a boy on a grey dolphin costume said

She just look at him and not responding

“Why are you sad? It is your birthday” he said

“I have many guests but they are not my friends” she sadly said

“I can be your friend from now on, is that okay with you?” the boy said and then smiled

“Okay, you are now my chingo” she happily said

“There you are my dear child” he mother said

“Eomma”

“Oh, You are with your friend here. Why wont you take a pose and lets take a picture for the both of you” Her Eomma said

The two of them move closer to each other and smiles for the camera.

“You are the cutest pink bunny and grey dolphin here” Her Eomma said and then leaves

“Why are you still sad, I am your friend now” the boy said

“Yes, you are my friend now but we were going to the States next week” she sadly said

“Really? When are you coming back?” he asked

“I don’t know, maybe not” she said

The boy took his ring and gave it to the girl.

“What is this?” she asked

“A gift for you, keep this so that you still have your friend out there” he happily said

“Okay, you are so sweet” she said and wears his ring

“If were already grown up when you come back, let’s get married to each other” he said

“Huh? What is that?” she innocently said

“I saw it on TV, if the guy give a ring he is proposing but since we are young lets just married if we are already grown up” he said

“Okay” she said

“Promise?” he said

“Promise” she said and they did a pinky swear
