Soundbyte: mazik flow ft. 레아 - 두근두근

A warm, sunny, spring day, you could say it was an almost a perfect day. Jiyoung is taking a stroll through the streets of a gangnam with her pet dog Myungsoo. Today she is going to bring it to a pet salon for it's monthly grooming. It's been just a few months since the articles about her leaving KARA came out.

Jiyoung is feeling really depressed, although she already made her choice not to extend her contract and leave the group to pursue her studies in acting she still can't help but feel that she could be making the wrong decision. She can't imagine not seeing her unnies for more than a week much more years when she goes to America. Her steps toward the shop are very heavy conveying how she really feels inside. With out her knowing she found herself in front of the pet salon. She took a deep breath, then produce a wide smile then she entered.

"annyeong!  Jiyoung" said the friendly looking receptionist " It's been a while, so just Myungsoo today?"

"Yes unnie, just the usual for Myungsoo-ngie today" 

"Suilli was just here last week, I'm surprised you weren't with her"

"I was busy back then, and with the news too. I couldn't really just go out by myself" with her voice getting softly by the time she finished her sentece

"I know, must have been tough, Okay then I'll take myungsoo now. You could go wait in the VIP room."

Jiyoung went towards the room, anyone could tell that something is bothering her by the way she had her back slightly hunched and her face looking pale. She went in the room, sat in the a very comfy looking chair which was farthest from the door. She picked up a couple magazines in the rack beside her and started flipping through the pages, not really reading what's in it. She then fished for her earphones from her sling bag and started listening to music to try and take her mind of all her problems

She heard a faint voice seeming calling someone. But she decided to Ignore it. She couldn't really see if it was for her as the magazine she reading was blocking her view. Then the voice got louder, nearer, this time she couldn't just ignore it figuring that it was directed towards her. She put the magazine down and looked upfront

"Excuse me," He greeted warmly

"Ah Yes?" She sees a guy standing in front of her

"Annyeonghaseyo Jiyoung sunbae" He greeted formally while bowing. "I was seating in the opposite of the room, I didn't think you saw me, But anyway I just thought that it would be rude of me if I didn't greet a sunbae"

​"Ah. I didn't see you there. Annyeonghaseyo" Jiyoung greeted back while bowing her head

"Or perhaps you don't know who I am?" he jokingly asked

"Why wouldn't I know you, you're KAI from EXO, right"

"Yes I am, I wasn't sure you would know me"

"You're really popular, I'm sure you know that. Plus I see you a lot"

"Do you really?" he asked trying to hold back a smile.

"Yes, well on TV because Nicole like you, as a fan of course"

​"Ah. I see" he felt a little disappointed by the answer. "I know, I watched you're Hello counselor episode"

"You watched that?" Jiyoung felt a a bit shy "So what are you doing here?"

"Actually, this is where I bring my dogs to be groomed"

"Me too" Embarrassed after stating the obvious. "But how come today is the first time I saw you here"

"It hasn't been a while since I moved shops" He paused "This salon was actually Sulli's reccommendation 

"Oh I see, I guess I'll see you often from now on. So have you been here for a while?"

He didn't answer immediately " I just arrived not long before you did" he lied, he was there hours before she arrived

"I guess we're both going to be here for a while. Having someone for company while waiting is nice"

"Yes, looks like it" He smiled.

"Here go ahead and sit" gesturing to the chair beside her.

As he was about to sit they both heard a bark from the door, the door opened and a small brown curly dog, an airedale terrier, came rushing towards his feet.

"KAI-sshi, Meonggu is finished. You could take it home now" the employee told him

He was shocked " Ye... yes?" he stuttered, his face turned red knowing that Jiyoung probably figured out that he lied. "I guess I'll see you some other time Jiyoung-sshi."

"Sure. Anyeonghaseyo" 

"Let's go Meonggu" he walked towards the door

"KAI-sshi"Jiyoung called him just before he reached the door. "you have a very pretty dog"

Jongin looked back and all he could say was a soft thank you

"And next time we... Should we drop the formalities since we're both the same age?" Jiyoung stick out her tongue

"YES!" he subconsciously screamed 

She smiled back. Then Jongin being dragged by the dog went our the room. Jiyoung chukled, somehow the thought of Jongin being dragged by such a small dog was really funny to her. She put her ear phones back on and continued listening to music, still smiling, until she had fallen a sleep.An hour and half went by and Jiyoung was awakened by  myungsoo's barking. For some miracle she felt really refreshed after that an hour and half of sleep. She looked outside the door, surprised that there was still sunlight, thinking surely that she must have slept for hours because of the way she's feeling. After saying her goodbyes to the employees she headed outside guiding Myungsoo through the door. Outside she yawned while stretching her arms out reaching for the sky. Then she felt a light tap at her shoulder

"Jiyoung- sshi" he said

She looked back "Kai-sshi, Hwat are you doing back here again?"

"I left something.." he stopped himself before he could say more. "I waited..." he paused, after a quick tapped on his neck he managed to say "I waited for you sunbae"

"Why?" confused

"I wanted to ask if you wanted to walk our dogs... together?" loosing confidence by the second

"Sure!" she said cheerfully

"And after, maybe... if you want to... perhaps we could go grab something to eat"

Jiyoung looking unsure, Jongin quickly said "I know a good place" He used the "good-food-card" knowing it was every KARA member's weakness. Jiyoung eyes seemingly sparkled, following a quick swallow of a saliva. But still Jiyoung was still unsure of his request. Jiyoung looking like she was going to say no. Jongin interrupted her,

"For the dogs... Its a cafe for dogs. they need to eat too, right?" he used his last resort, he planned everything he said up to know, what he was going to ask her while waiting for her earlier.

"I guess you're right." she replied "Okay then... and I remember telling you to just drop the formalities, try it"

"Jiyoung...?" he said awkwardly.

"haha, it will get better soon, don't worry, Kai...?" she smiled
