Kimmie's POV

Haruki has been a very nice friend to me. People often avoid me but ever since Haruki comes, I feel like I am reborn. I know it might sound cheesy, but before Haruki came, it was only Chanyeol and me. Now, now I know I said this many times, but Chanyeol and I aren't dating. The story of how we met goes like this.

Chanyeol stole my favorite blue and pink ribbon in 3rd grade. I ran after him, trying to fight it back, but since Chanyeol was pretty tall back then too, I couldn't catch up with him. I suddenly tripped and landed straight on my forehead. It started bleeding and I began to cry. Chanyeol noticed my tears and went to get a bandage from the teacher. Afterward, he gave me back my ribbon and we became friends. Hey, we were kids back then. Kids become friends easily.

Well since then, we've been best friends. Anyway Chanyeol is already crushing on a girl named Eunhee from his class.

Oh sorry, haven't introduced myself properly yet.

I'm Jang Kimmie. I'm half Korean, half Australian. I really like anime and practice my Japanese a lot. Haruki is always teaching me new words and helping me out.

Crush?

Ah. I'm kinda torn between Jungkook, who's friends with V, and Hoya, who's the best dancer at our school. I really don't know. To be honest, I've never talked to any of them before. Well I have said "hi" and "how you doing" but never actually a full conversation. Jungkook is in my class while Hoya's in Chanyeol's class. Jungkook and Hoya competed against each other in a dance battle before and Hoya won. It wasn't a big surprise. The whole school has seen him dance many times before.

"Hey what are you thinking about?" I hear Haruki ask. I jump up in shock.

"Whoa! Haru-ah, you scared me!" I yell. We're back in class but the teacher isn't here yet so everyone is pretty loud. Our class is actually the loudest class in this grade level and we got an award for that from other students. The teachers weren't happy about it because they said "it gives us a bad image".

"Sorry, but you were staring into space so I was curious of what you're thinking? Is it about Hoya and Jungkook?" Haruki states.

"Wait, how'd you know?" I ask. Is she some sort of mind reader?

"I can tell. I had two best friends back at home in Japan, and whenever they had crushes or just thinking about their crushes, they would always stared into space. I wonder what they're doing now."

I could see that she's beginning to cry so I place my hand on her and give her a bright smile. That seems to cheer her up. It must be hard on her.

~School's over~

Haruki's POV

"Hey Haru, do you want to walk home with me?" Taehyung ask me.

"Sure, but I have to tell Kimmie first so she won't worry," I tell him.

I walk to Kimmie, who is packing her stuff. I tell her I'm going to walk home with Taehyung and she says, "Okay, be safe." She smiles and waves.

"Okay Taehyung-sshi, let's go," I call out to Taehyung.

"You can call me V. I like it when people call me V, instead of Taehyung, okay?" he asks, pouting.

"O-okay, V-sshi," I say.

"No, just V."

"V."

"Right!" He smiles. HIs smile was so cute and childish that I just can't help but smile along.

"So why did you move to South Korea?" V asks as we were walking.

"My dad got a new job and so the whole family had to move."

"Do you miss your friends and family back in Japan?"

"Yes,a lot," I can feel my eyes and throat getting this heavy feeling. "I have two best friends in Japan, Angie and Miu. We've been friends since as long as I can remember. And it was sad leaving them there." I suddenly feel something cold dripping down my cheek. I touch it and realize I was crying. I don't want V to see my crying so I quickly wipe it away.

"I already saw it."

"What?"

"Your tears. There's no need to hide it."

I begin to cry more. Don't you hate it when you try to hold back your tears and when someone points it out, all the tears just flow out? That's how I feel right now.

Then something wrapped around me. It was V's arm.

"Don't worry. You'll see them again one day.," he says, encouragingly, and smiles. HIs smile seems to brighten me up. He's right. I'll see them again soon. Angie-chan, Miu-chan, just wait. We'll meet again soon!
