***Hana POV***

“Hana~ Don’t you like the artistic kind of boys?” she asks.

“I don’t know…” I reply.

“I would pair you up with someone with a beautiful voice. Someone very talented!” she says. She looks out the classroom window. “I got it! I know who!”

“Who?” I ask.

She points out the window. A wide smile spreads across her face. My eyes land on Jinyoung. I watch him laugh along with his friends.

“Isn’t he perfect? His looks aren’t that special, but he’s known for having a great voice. I hear he is single too. You can form a duo with him,” she shrieks.

“I have to agree with you on this one,” I tell her.

I feel my face start to burn and she begins to cheer. We both walk down the hall to get out lunch.

“Here he comes,” she pinches me.

“Ouch,” I tell her.

I look around, but only see Sandeul. My friend elbows me and hums happily.

“Hello Hana,” Sandeul waves to me.

I wave to him. He continues walking past us. My friend’s eyes follow him then land back on me when he’s out of sight.

“You know him?! This is perfect. Okay~ the plan to set you two up will be much simpler,” she tells me.

Wait… she’s trying to set me up with Sandeul!?! How can I tell her that the guy I like is not Sandeul, but his friend? I’m not the kind of girl who tells everyone about her love life.

“Promise me you’ll confess soon,” she tells me.

“I don’t know,” I reply.

I wonder if I will ever confess to Jinyoung. I need to gather up my nerves and finally do it.

“Do you mind if I spend my lunch alone?” I ask her.

“Song writing again?” she asks.

“Yup,” I smile at her.

She puts her fist in the air. “Fighting~”

We both laugh. I quickly hurry to the music room and grab the guitar I usually play. I gently strum the guitar.

“Yup… Only this way I can think things through without hesitating.”

I take out my notebook and look at the notes I have written down.

“Nice,” I hear someone clap.

I look to the side and see Jinyoung leaning against the keyboard.

“Thank you,” I reply. I feel myself start to blush.

I will confess to him.

“Did you write it yourself?” he asks.

“Yeah,” I answer.

He starts walking towards me. He grabs a chair and sits near.

“Sounds like a love song,” he says.

“Really?” I ask.

He rubs the back of his neck with his hand. He looks hesitant.

“Is something wrong?” I ask.

He nods. A smirk spreads across his face.

“Hana…” he begins to say.

I look at him. Our eyes meet. I feel my face start to burn.

“Yeah?” I ask.

“Recently I realized something,” he says.

I nod.

“But…” He rubs his neck again. “I can’t say it.”

“It’s okay,” I tell him. Take your time.”

Jinyoung remains silent. I hear tapping on the classroom window. Rain splatters the glass then glides down. I look at it for a while waiting for Jinyoung to respond. I return my gaze to him. Jinyoung’s face s bright pink.

“Are you ok?” I ask. “Do you have a fever?”

I reach for his face. I feel his temperature, but it feels normal.

“You’re fine…” I look down and our eyes meet.

Oh gosh… I actually touched him. He p
