"Oh I'm late. I'm sooooo late. Luhan hyung is gonna kill me for sure." 

 

Kyungsoo paced around in his bedroom, grabbing his clothes and putting it on. He grabbed his phone and wallet before shoving it into his pocket before closing the door and locking it. Today was actually Luhan's boyfriend's birthday and Kyungsoo was asked to bake a cake because for one thing, their bakery was well known. 

 

He pulled out his phone and dialled Baekhyun's number, "Hello?" 

 

"Baekhyun-ah!" 

 

"Kyungsoo! Where are you? I've been waiting since like, half an hour ago at the shops across your house." 

 

"I'm sorry okay, just- I'll be there in a few." 

 

Kyungsoo crossed the road before going through certain blocks and spotting Baekhyun's car infront of a store (7 Eleven, duh). He went in and both of them went to the bakery to prepare the cake.

"Do Kyungsoo." Luhan stated before dragging him to the kitchen, "We have four hours to the party, and you have got to start baking." Luhan turned his heels to prepare some cupcakes for the birthday but stopped and continued, "Sehun likes Astoria red velvet cake with poured fudge."

 

With that, Luhan left Kyungsoo in the kitchen, and went to the other station to finish making his cupcakes. Almost done with the cake's batter, Kyungsoo noticed Baekhyun was doing the icing at another corner of the kitchen when Kyungsoo's phone rang. 

 

"Hello?" 

 

Kyungsoo? 

 

"Oh, Chanyeol, uhm, why did you call?"

 

Is Baekhyun there? 

 

"Yeah, he is. Do you want to talk to him?" 

 

Yes. 

 

"Wait, why'd you call my phone? You could always call hi-"

 

Problem is, he won't pick up the phone. 

 

"Are you guys fighting?" 

 

Sort of. 

 

"Oh. Well. I'll ask him to pick up later because we're really busy now for Sehun's party." 

 

Oh right, you guys are preparing. So sorry to bother you but please, just, please tell him to pick up and let me explain. 

 

"I will. Don't worry."

 

Thanks Kyungsoo-yah. I'll see you guys later then. 

 

"Alright." 

 

And Kyungsoo?

 

"Yeah?"

 

Jongin's going too. 

 

And Kyungsoo hung up. The mention of Jongin's name was like a bullet through his heart. Ever since high school, Kyungsoo had a deep crush on the stated man. Only his close friends knows about this and he didn't even told them because it was very, very, very obvious. Especially, that day when Kyungsoo skipped class just to see Jongin at the swimming team, practicing for his competition shirtle- 

 

"Was that Chanyeol who called?" 

 

Kyungsoo looked at Baekhyun, "Uh, yeah."

 

"Why?"

 

"He wants you to pick up the phone." Kyungsoo stated firmly as he pushed the batter into the oven. 

 

Baekhyun looked at him, "Why?" 

 

"He wanted to explain some stuffs. Did you guys fight again?" 

 

"Yeah, sort of." 

 

Kyungsoo nodded understandingly, "Why?" 

 

"I saw him with a guy that day. The.. the guy was pretty." 

 

Kyungsoo sighed, "You gotta stop jumping into conclusion, Baekhyun-ah." 

 

"And you should stop liking that Jongin guy." 

 

The younger groaned, "Stop saying his name, god damn it." 

 

"Kyungsoo, you've been crushing on that dude since like high school. Which was like, 5 years ago?" 

 

"If it was easy, I would have stop crushing on him years ago, Baekhyun-ah." 

 

If it was easy, Kyungsoo thought.
