Oops
Youngjae sighed softly as he waited on the front porch of Himchan's home. Today was the day he was officially moving in with Jung Daehyun and he couldn't help but feel a little nervous. After all, he didn't know anything about his teacher. . . other than he was a . The teen glanced over when his best friend sat down beside him, neither saying anything for a long time.

School was tiring - The hype about his pregnancy had died down just a little bit but he was still getting stared at and people whispering behind his back. People tried to guess who the father was – most people thought Himchan was and the older teen didn't deny it but he also didn't claim it. It was just easier that way. Class with Jung Daehyun was awkward though. Really, really awkward but Youngjae found it kind of funny whenever his teacher would turn red when they met eyes. He really was an awkward man.

“Are you nervous about moving in with this guy?” Himchan finally asked and Youngjae pursed his lips before shrugging. “Well, if he hurts you or something, I'll kick his . You know you're always welcome here if things don't work out.”

Youngjae smiled at that, murmuring a soft 'thanks'. Honestly, all he hoped for was that Daehyun was rich. It wasn't even for himself or anything like that; he simply wanted Little Demon to have a better life than he had had. The teen thought back to earlier, how his own mother had been calling him and trying to talk to him again. Youngjae figured she would eventually but he really didn't want to talk to her right now, especially since he was finally getting some help from Daehyun.

He would talk to her, he really would but for now, Youngjae just wanted her to suffer a little bit. The teen stood up, breathing in deeply when Jung Daehyun's expensive car pulled up in the driveway. He wasn't sure if he was excited or nervous – maybe, it was a mixture of both. The two teens watched as their teacher got out of his car, his actions slow and hesitant before finally reaching them at the porch. “Hey.” He greeted, reaching up and awkwardly rubbing the back of his neck. “Are you ready to go?”

Youngjae glanced at Himchan before nodding his head. “Yeah, I guess.”

“These are your things, right?” Daehyun motioned towards his small suitcase and book bag, picking them up and carrying them towards his car when the teen nodded his head.

“Good luck.” Himchan said, giving Youngjae a tight hug. “Like I said, if you need me I'll come and kick his .”

Youngjae laughed, hugging his best friend back and suddenly he didn't want to leave. What if things were really bad with Daehyun? What if Daehyun turned out to be a huge ? He almost laughed at that when he glanced over his shoulder, watching as his teacher awkwardly shifted from foot to foot, waiting for them to say their goodbyes. Okay, he probably wouldn't be a huge but Youngjae was still nervous. He breathed in deeply, subconsciously placing his hands over his stomach and then he was walking towards Daehyun's expensive car.

“Whoa.” Youngjae gasped when Daehyun pointed towards a tall, grand looking apartment building. “This is a nice place.”

“You haven't even been inside yet.” He trailed off for a moment, glancing over at the teen who was paying no attention to him. “Also, please watch your language.”

“Yeah, but I can tell it's gonna be nice as -” He couldn't help the excitement in his voice as Daehyun pulled into a parking garage, going round and round before finally finding a parking spot. He heard the older man taking in a nervous breath before getting out and getting Youngjae's bags from the trunk. Neither said anything, Youngjae quietly following him.

“We're here.” Daehyun murmured, setting down the bags so he could get his keys out. It was kind of cute and comforting – at least he wasn't the only one nervous about this whole situation. The doors opened and then Youngjae felt a hand brush against his lower back, gently pushing him forward. The teen put his hand on his lower stomach, his eyes scanning over the lush apartment. We lucked out. He thought, holding back a grin. Baby daddy's got money. “I'll show you to your room.”

The room – his new room as Daehyun referred to it, was huge, by far bigger than any room he'd ever had before. It was styled simply, the theme was black and white and everything about it screamed luxury. “Damn. So, you're rich?”

Daehyun looked at him in surprise, a little caught off guard by his question. “I am blessed financially, yes.”

Youngjae snorted. Blessed. “So, how do you afford all this? Do teachers really make that much?” He asked, watching as the older sat his bags down on the floor beside the king size bed.

“My family owns this condominium complex along with a few others.”

Daaaamn.” Youngjae stretched out the word, patting his belly.

“Youngjae, would you please watch your language?” The older man said before rubbing his forehead and sighing heavily. He could feel a migraine coming on and he'd only been around Youngjae for an hour. How was he supposed to live with this kid? Daehyun inwardly cringed at that but he knew he had no choice – Yoo Youngjae was carrying his child.

“Yes sir, Mr. Jung, sir.” Youngjae replied sarcastically and Daehyun wasn't sure if he wanted to strangle him or himself.

“I'm going out to the balcony.” Daehyun carefully moved past him, trying his best to keep their bodies from brushing. “Make yourself at home, feel free to explore . . .” The words sounded forced and the teen snorted again.

What a dumb . Youngjae thought in amusement before sitting down on the edge of the bed. He let out a blissful sigh before lying back and staring up at the ceiling. It felt good to have a room of his own again and he was certain the bed was made of angel's feathers as he sank back into it. This was definitely an improvement from Himchan's stupid twin sized bed.

He closed his eyes, thinking over everything. Daehyun was dumb. . . and a huge but, Youngjae still thought he'd lucked out and not just money wise either. He really, genuinely seemed like a kind person and that was comforting after all the worries he'd had before. Most people he hooked up with at the club were not the type he'd want to have a child with. In a way, he lucked out getting knocked up by Jung Daehyun. Youngjae held back a laugh but it was true and most importantly, at least he wasn't knocked up by Himchan. The teen held back a shiver at that before getting up and deciding he would 'explore' or whatever Daehyun had told him to do.

Daehyun stared into the blackness as he tried to get himself to relax. He'd been tossing and turning all night – whenever he'd fall asleep, it was only to be woken back up by a nightmare. He'd pretty much hidden away in his room the rest of the day, avoiding Youngjae. He knew that wasn't right, he was an adult but he just couldn't get himself to face the teen and he would be lying if he said Youngjae didn't scare him. Just a little bit anyway. The man threw back his covers before getting out of his bed and going towards the kitchen for some water.

He paused when he saw light peeking out from around the corner. Daehyun took in a deep breath before walking closer, frowning when he didn't see anyone. He narrowed his eyes, deciding whenever Youngjae got up, he would scold him for wasting electricity before walking into the kitchen and letting out a yelp when he looked down and saw Youngjae on the floor. “What on earth are you doing?!” He couldn't help but raise his voice.

“Looking for something good to eat!” Youngjae shouted back. Daehyun blinked, stepping back and watching in awe as the teen continued digging through one of his cabinets. “Do you eat anything?” Youngjae groaned. It had been a while since he'd last gone shopping. “All you have is ing leaves!”

“What are you talking about?” Daehyun furrowed his brows.

“This !” Youngjae snatched up a ziplock bag full of kale. “What the is this? Are you a rabbit?”

“Watch your language!” The man snapped, leaning down and grabbing the kale out of his hands. “It's kale! And it's healthy for you!” Daehyun groaned before rubbing his forehead. “I need a smoke.”

“Oh, so you smoke but god forbid you eat anything other than ing leaves.”

“It's Kale!” The older let out an exasperated sigh. He was going to kill Youngjae and then he was going to go to jail. You're the adult here, calm down. Breathe. He told himself when the teen snatched the bag out of his hands. Youngjae ped it, ripping off a large piece and shoving it into his mouth and when Daehyun noticed there were tears forming in his eyes, he slowly bent down to the teen's level. “Are. . . you okay?” He hesitantly asked.

“I'm seventeen, I'm pregnant, I'm hungry and all you have his rabbit food, what do you think?” Youngjae hissed, tears rolling down his cheeks.

“We'll go grocery shopping in the morning just. . . stop crying.” Youngjae reached up and violently wiped the tears away before ripping another piece of kale out of the bag and shoving it into his mouth. Daehyun had to stop himself from laughing as the teen glared at the cabinets, tears still pouring down his face as he angrily chewed at the kale.

“I'm just overwhelmed.” Youngjae said after a moment of silence. “- And hungry.” He added.

“Look, I'm sorry.” Daehyun softly spoke. “I should have gone grocery shopping before you moved in. It's my fault and I'm sorry.”

The teen looked at him, his expression softening and Daehyun almost thought he was going to say something sweet or maybe even apologize for being such a pain in the - “Yeah, it is your fault.”

Daehyun opened his mouth to say something before shaking his head and pressing his lips into a thin line. Don't say anything. Just go. He turned around, leaving Youngjae behind and he was certain he heard the teen laughing by the time he reached his room.

Daehyun glanced over at Youngjae who had passed out only four minutes into the car ride to the grocery store. His face was pressed against the glass and soft snores were the only noise in the car. He was actually really, really cute like this, Daehyun decided. He liked a sleeping Youngjae. The man wondered what time Youngjae had finally gone to sleep, neither of them had been able or willing to get out of bed until late noon and even then, getting Youngjae up had been a difficult task.

He let out a soft sigh when the grocery store came into view because that meant he had to wake Youngjae up. But, you're so much better like this. He thought, glancing over again once he'd found a parking space. The man closed his eyes, resting back against his seat before taking in a deep breath and reaching over to gently shake Youngjae. “Hey, we're here.” Youngjae smacked his hand and the older rolled his eyes. “Is this how you're going to act when the baby is here?” He muttered and the teen's eyes flew open.

“No.” Youngjae spoke, annoyance written all over his face.

Daehyun stared at him for a moment before slowly retracting his hand. “Look, Youngjae, I just want us to start over. I'm not your enemy, you don't have to be so defensive.”

Youngjae's expression softened before he looked away. “Yeah, sorry. I do get a little defensive.” He trailed off and Daehyun thought that was all he was going to say - “I never had a good family life, I was always taking care of myself.”

“I'll take care of you and the baby.” Daehyun promised, reaching out and gently putting his hand on Youngjae's thigh in a comforting manner. “I really will, you can trust me.” Youngjae smiled over at him and for once, Daehyun didn't want to kill him. His smile was actually really beautiful - “If you don't get your hand off my thigh, I'm going to get the worst .” And just like that, the moment was over. The teacher snatched back his hand, looking utterly scandalized, his cheeks and ears turning bright red.

“You're funny, Mr. Jung.” Youngjae said as he opened the car door and got out.

Daehyun swallowed thickly, taking a couple of seconds to breathe in deeply before doing the same. The two walked towards the grocery store, neither saying anything until right before they went inside. “Hey.” Youngjae called out softly.

“. . . Yes?” Daehyun prepared himself for the worst.

“Thanks.” Youngjae stared forward. “For what you said earlier. . . Thanks. I like you a lot, Mr. Jung.”

Daehyun felt himself relax, a small smile appearing on his lips. “You can call me Daehyun outside of school, you know.” It was going to be hard, really hard living with Youngjae and having a child with him but he was ready to step up. He refused to let Youngjae or his baby down. They both needed him, he knew that and it felt good to be needed. He had his own little family now, even if it wasn't the picture perfect family he'd always envisioned.

The two made their way around the quiet grocery store, occasionally arguing over unhealthy food but in the end, Youngjae got his way – Ice cream, sugary cereals, chips, Daehyun was weak when it came to dealing with Yoo Youngjae. He pushed the cart forward, sighing softly as he waited for his turn to check out.

“Can I go ahead to the car?” Youngjae asked, shifting from foot to foot. “My feet hurt.” Daehyun nodded his head, reaching into his pocket and handing the keys to the teen. “Wouldn't it be funny if I took off with your car?”

“No.” Daehyun tried to hide any emotion as he stared forward. Don't let him get to you. You're an adult. “No, that would not be funny at all.” Youngjae shrugged before heading towards the exit and when he was finally gone, the man let out a loud sigh. If there was one thing he knew about the teen, it was that he had a horrible sense of humor.

It was going to take a while to get used to that, the people he had grown up around were all extremely reserved and quiet. Youngjae was the total opposite of that, of him. Loud, confident, not a single ounce of shame. It wasn't a bad thing and Daehyun wished he could be like that – the only time he was was when he got wasted and that had led to this whole situation to begin with. He finished checking out and pushed the cart with his bags outside the building, pausing when he heard loud booming.

Daehyun closed his eyes and shook his head when he realized it was his own car before hesitantly walking towards it. Would he ever get used to Youngjae? He finished loading everything up, letting out a sigh of relief as the teen turned off the radio once he got inside. “I need to run by the bank and then we'll go home.”

“'Kay.”

“You've had doctors appointments for the baby, right?” Daehyun asked as he pulled out onto the road.

“I have.” Youngjae answered. “You missed out, I've already heard little demon's heartbeat and everything.”

The man momentarily considered asking why the hell he was calling their child 'little demon' but decided against it. That was an issue for another time and place. “When is your next appointment? I'll make sure I'm there.” He really hated he'd missed out on so much already.

“I don't know, I'll have to look at the card I was given.” The teen replied, shifting in his seat. “, for a nice car these seats are so uncomfortable.”

“Youngjae, please, will you just watch your language?” Daehyun glanced at him before continuing. “I don't want the baby to be born holding up its middle finger and instead of crying, it saying ' you, Dad!'.”

Youngjae started laughing and even Daehyun couldn't help but laugh along - “Oh my god.” The teen said in between laughs. “I don't know, that might be pretty cool.” Things went quiet, Youngjae still occasionally giggling throughout the ride to the bank. “That's the first time I've heard you cuss.” The teen suddenly realized. “I feel so close to you now.” Daehyun rolled his eyes but there was a smile on his lips.

Maybe, things wouldn't be so bad after all.

Chapter 9: This was another amazing chapter! Daehyun realized that he would have acted like that other teacher if he wasn't the one who knocked up Youngjae! And I like his resolve to do his best to help Youngjae! Although, knowing Daehyun...it will probably backfire on him! Awww Daehyun telling Youngjae he really does care for him! It was cute with Youngjae being so happy about what Daehyun said to him....and then Himchan comes and he doesn't ruin it all but Daehyun of course hears them and then asks Youngjae how does he know that Daehyun is the father! And of course Youngjae reacts badly!!!!
