Foreword
"Zitao, don't shut me out!" Kris screamed, trying to get the frantic boy to calm down. The younger stared at him with wide eyes. "How do you expect me not to?! You know that I have a hard time trusting people, and I can't help it! Shutting people out is what I do best!" He yelled back, stomping his way to his bedroom.
He slammed his bedroom door in the older male's face. Kris was able to open the door before he could lock it. "Zitao, you've ignore me for three days, I can't stand it!" He pushed his way in, cornering Tao against the wall. "Just leave Kris! I can't handle this!" He screamed, trying to wiggle away from him.
Kris slammed his hads on both sides of Tao's head. "Why have you been ignoring me?" He asked, exasperated. Tao shook his head. "No, I don't want to talk about it." He said, trying to break free from him.
Kris cupped his face, forcing him to look at him.
"Admit it, you love me." Tao's eyes opened wide. No. He didn't love people, he didn't love anyone. He couldn't. Because he couldn't trust anyone.
"I don't love anyone." He whispered, watching the hurt look go across Kris' face. The older male then glared at Tao, pulling him forward. He pressed his lips firmly against his, savoring the sweet taste like it would be his last.
"Then explain that." He said as he pulled away. "Explain why you always call me when you're upset. Why you've been kissing me every now and then. Why you shut me out the minute you felt like you were getting to close to me." Tao's eyes watered hearing the words leave Kris' mouth.
Kris gently wiped away the tears as they cascaded down the younger boy's face. "Tao," he called, focusing the younger on his eyes again. "Tell me you love me."
