Jay's hands were clammy and his heart fell with a loud thud.  How could Taecyeon act like nothing was wrong? How could he just forget everything that happened in the last two long years?  With her?  Their hug lasted a bit longer than usual and absent-mindedly, Jay strolled over to the hugging couple and squeezed himself in between the two.

"Yaaaaaah.  I want to be loved too," he sang playfully.

Taecyeon laughed and Jessica quickly freed herself.  

"I'll be back, I need to clean myself up," she told them.  "Why don't you guys sit down?"

Taecyeon flumped onto Jessica's sofa comfortably.  

"Yaaah.  She's matured so much since the last time I've seen her." Taecyeon yawned.  "Especially with these." 

Taecyeon tapped his chest and gave Jay a dirty smile. 

"Yah.  America's made you so TAINTED," Jay spat at Taecyeon and chucked a pillow at him.  "And don't say those kinds of things." 

"I was just kidding!  Why are you taking me so seriously?"

Jay ignored Taecyeon and flipped open his phone.  

"Jay...  Are you..." Taecyeon began. 

"What?"  Jay's eyes remained glue to the screen but his hands were slightly starting to sweat.

"Are you...gay?"

Jay chucked his phone at Taecyeon's chest.

"Are you STUPID?" He laughed as he began wrestling with Taecyeon.  The pair squirmed onto the ground, punching each other and giving headlocks.  

"You're in love with Jessica, aren't you, Jay?" Taecyeon's question hit Jay out of nowhere. 

"Huh?" 

"You heard me, Jay, don't pretend like you didn't hear," Taecyeon chuckled.

"Why are you asking me this? You're so random, L-O-L," Jay laughed nervously.

"It seemed like... you'know."

"You're weird."

"Answer my question before you call me that."

"I'm hungry."

"Don't change the subject."

"Why're you asking me this?"

"You liiiiiiiii--ke her don't you?" Taecyeon teased.

"HA.  Shuttup, I don't!"  

The two spat back and forth at each other and Taecyeon finally rolled onto his back.

 "I'm thinking of starting over with Jessica," Taecyeon spoke. 

Jay's heart nearly stopped. What?

"But it's not like you like her, so I'm sort of relieved," Taecyeon sighed. 

"It's fine, bro.  You're freaking weird.  Until Justin Bieber becomes a man, then I'd consider her, but not really anyways," Jay joked. 

You're a liar.  Even his subconsciousness knew he was lying.

"Never ever never ever--," Jay began but stopped.

Oh...

 Jessica was standing right above them. 

What did I just do?
