“Hyukkie, I think I’m sick.” Hyukjae walks over to the edge of the bed while doing up the buttons of his shirt.

“Really baby? Come here,” Hyukjae says, wrapping his arms around Donghae’s waist and planting his lips on the pale forehead.

“You don’t seem to have a temperature, maybe it’s just a small cold. I’ll stay with you today and we can be lazy and cuddle and sleep all day. How does that sound?”

“Yeah, that sounds good. I just don’t want to infect you with my germs.” Donghae’s voice is hoarse and thick when he speaks, prompting Hyukjae to lie him back down carefully before pecking his cheek lightly, “I’ll go make you a hot chocolate, that’ll probably help your throat baby. It is sore right?”

Donghae nods, breathing heavily through his mouth, his nose firmly blocked. “And I’ll grab a tissue box while I’m at it.”

Hyukjae leaves for the kitchen, hastily grabbing the hot chocolate powder and putting a good heaped teaspoon into a mug, adding an extra spoonful of sugar.

Mixing it all together with milk and hot water, he walks carefully back to Donghae with the full cup, stopping at a cupboard on the way to grab a box of the soft tissues that Donghae likes.

“Thanks Hyuk,” Donghae says, sitting up ready to sip at his drink.
