All-Consuming Love
Glimmers Of EunHaeHyukjae loves Donghae, he really does.
Hyukjae doesn’t think there are even words meaningful enough to describe exactly how much he loves Donghae.
He loves the way Donghae smiles, the way he laughs, the way he talks, the way he sings, the way he breathes… He loves it all.
He hates it when Donghae cries, curled up against him while sobbing heavily. He wishes he didn’t find Donghae’s tear-filled eyes so beautiful, but he does, and he hates himself for it because behind those tears, pain is lurking.
Donghae rarely cries, but when he does Hyukjae is always there holding a box of tissues and waiting with open arms. Donghae rarely cries, but when he does, he is never alone. Hyukjae is always there.
Some days Hyukjae wonders how empty his life would be without Donghae, how boring and painful each day would be. On those days that Hyukjae thinks of a life without Donghae, he holds him so much tighter and kisses him so much more fiercely. A life without Donghae is not a life for him at all.
Every second he spends without Donghae is a second spent waiting, waiting until he can see him again. Hyukjae realises that life is too painfully short, and so he loathes every second he spends without his whole world beside him.
When Hyukjae sees Donghae after the time they spend apart, be it seconds, minutes, or hours, he brightens up completely. He feels whole again when Donghae smiles gently at him or when Donghae’s eyes shine with love,
