Amber an assasin with a dark & scary past who's set to kill anyone that's in her way and henry who's in love with her... what would happen when the both of them met...

Her blade cut swiftly through the thick flesh of his throat, the movement so practiced that her prey hardly even realised what she had done as his hands went feebly towards his neck in a pathetic attempt to staunch the blood flow. The assassin looked down on her prey as he peered up at her in astonishment, unable to fathom that he was about to die. Her eyes were cold and distant, as if there was no longer a speck of life left within her soul. The seconds seemed to pass by slowly as he began to choke on his own blood, his eyes growing wide as he gasped for air. She watched him thrash on the floor like a slain animal, feeling no remorse for the pitiful creature. She was beyond feeling emotions anymore as she watched her target die. Her years of brutal training and killing mercilessly had hardened her soul. As the man finally became still, she crouched down beside him, wiping her blade on a clean part of his jacket, placing a finger just below his nose to check whether he was still breathing. She need not had bothered for the way his wide-open eyes stared out lifeless told her his soul was long gone. With one last emotionless look at his still form on the ground, she spun around and left the alleyway.

Her work was done.

In this world there exist only two kinds of people: the weak and the strong. It is the role of the weak to succumb to the strong. One must become strong in order to survive the harsh cruelties of this journey we humans call ‘life’.

Her footsteps echoed softly on the footpath as she made her way from the scene of the crime, contemplating these thoughts. It was the logic she always used to console herself after completing her set tasks. But although her exterior showed no remorse for her actions, deep down she still could not escape the sorrow she felt for those who died by her hand. Light was seeping over the horizon as dawn was breaking. ‘Dawn’… that was her alias. She smiled softly as she remembered why she had chosen it and continued down the path, emptying her mind of any further thoughts as she made her way back home.
