Chapter 10

 

Sooyoung’s POV

 

I’m crying while driving

 

Why Jessica is Jung? I’m sorry appa, I’m falling in love with our enemy daughter. Appa, I will make them regret about what they did to you. I won’t let them have their hapiness, I promise appa.

 

I heard honking when I look back I saw Sica behind me then my phone rang. I look at the ID and is Sica.

 

‘ Stop calling me ’ I yell then hang up

 

Then it rang again. I throw the phone outside the window. Tears continue to fall down from me, I wipe it. Suddenly, I saw a big truck in front of me, I turn my car

 

* BANG *

 

Slowly everything is black in front of me.

 

Jessica’s POV

 

Why Soo suddenly act like this?

 

I tried to call her a few times, but she didn’t answer. The last time she answered, she yells then hang up. When I try to call, I saw her throwing her phone out the car. She is driving faster.

 

‘ Stop driving so fast is dangerous ’ I talk to myself.

 

Suddenly I saw Soo’s car went to the next lane and there’s a big truck in front of her. Soo’s car turns away then hit the big pole. There’s a lot of smoke from the front. I stop my car and run toward Soo’s car. I saw a lot of blood on Soo’s head

 

‘ Soo, open the door ’ I knock hard on the window

 

But she didn’t move

 

‘ Please don’t scare me. Open your eyes ’ I scream while knocking the window

 

I look back then saw the ambulance and police cars stoping in front of us.

 

‘ Please, help her ’ I said while crying

 

After a while the finally open the door and take the unconscious Soo out.

 

‘ Oh my god, Soo please open your eyes ’ I cry

 

‘ We need to her her to the hospital now ’ the guy said

 

‘ I’ll come with you, I’m her girlfriend ’ I said

 

He nods and I follow them inside the ambulance car. During the whole time, I take her hand.

 

‘ She lost a lot of blood and her pulse is very low ’ the guy said

 

‘ Please you need to save her ’ I said while sobbing

 

‘ We’ll try our best ’

 

The ambulance finally stop in front of the hospital, two doctors and nurses rushes out and take Soo inside the emergency room. I’m outside waiting for the news then I take out my phone.

 

YoonYul’s POV

 

Yul is still crying in the car, suddenly it start raining. She is worry about Yoong so she drives back to the Jung’s mansion. Yul saw Yoong still on the ground crying and it break her heart. She stops the car in front of Yoong. She gets out of her car

 

‘ Yul….. ’ Yoong said while crying

 

‘ Get in inside ’ Yul said

 

‘ No ’ Yoong shakes her head

 

Yul drags Yoong into the car and drive to one of the Choi’s hotel. They stop in front of the reception

 

‘ Miss Yuri ’ the receptionist bows

 

‘ Give me my suite key card ’ Yul said

 

‘ Why you bring me here? ’ Yoong asks

 

‘ Here’s your key card miss Yuri ’

 

Yul takes it and went to the president suit.

 

‘ Go take a shower ’ Yul said to the soaking Yoong

 

‘ No, you will leave if I went into the bathroom ’

 

Yul sighs ‘ I will stay here, so just go take a warm shower first if not you will get cold ’

 

‘ You promise that you won’t leave ’

 

‘ I promise ’ Yul said more softly

 

Yoong disappear into the bathroom.

 

* KNOCK *

 

Yul opens the door

 

‘ Miss Yuri, here’s the clothes you ask ’ the boy said

 

‘ Thank you ’

 

Yul knock at the bathroom door

 

‘ I put some dry clothes at the door, wear it after you finish your shower ’ Yul said outside the room

 

After 30 minutes, Yoong comes back with the dry clothes.

 

‘ Yul, let’s talk ’ Yoong takes Yul’s hand

 

‘ We have nothing to talk ’ Yul looks away but didn’t push Yoong’s hand away

 

‘ Yes, I want to know why you suddenly act like this after the phone call ’

 

‘ Even if I tell you it won’t change anything ’ Yul looks at Yoong

 

‘ You don’t know maybe it will ’

 

‘ You really want to reason? ’

 

Yoong nods

 

‘ Fine, I’ll tell you. Your father betrayed my father 15 years ago and cause my father a heart attack ’

 

‘ What do you mean? ’

 

‘ They were partner before but your father kick my dad out of the company. My dad died because of this ’ Yul said while clenching her fist

 

‘ Now, you know the reason why we can’t be together because you are a Jung, our family enemy daughter ’

 

‘ Yul, I don’t know about this…. ’

 

‘ Of course you don’t, your dad won’t tell anyone about this ’ Yul said bitterly

 

‘ Yul, I love you I will do anything for you ’ Yoong hugs Yul

 

‘ The moment I found out you are a Jung, there’s no us. I’m sure you won’t give up what you have now to be with me right. So just leave and don’t near me ’ Yul said

 

‘ What if I do? ’

 

‘ What do you mean? ’

 

‘ I will give up everyting for you. ’

 

Yoong looks at Yul ‘ Yul, let’s leave together and go to somewhere else that no one will know us ’

 

‘ ……………… ’

 

‘ I won’t tell my father about what you said. We can leave together and live happily together ’

 

‘ Don’t be ridiculous. You will regret it in the future ’

 

‘ No, I won’t ’

 

‘ I-I can’t leave with you. How about my family? ’ Yul said

 

‘ You can call them or visit them ’ Yoong said then hugs Yul

 

‘ Yul, please. Let’s leave together ’

 

Yul slowly hugs Yoong’s back and cry.

 

Yul phones rang

 

‘ Don’t answer ’ Yoong said

 

‘ Is Tae, I need to answer it ’ Yul pull off the hug

 

Yul’s face become pale after talking to Tae

 

‘ I will come immediatly ’ Yul said before hanging up

 

‘ Yul, what’s wrong? ’ Yoong asks worriedly

 

‘ Is Soo. She got into a car accident and she is at the hospital now ’ tears fall down

 

‘ I need to go to the hospital ’ Yul said

 

‘ I’ll go with you ’ Yoong said

 

‘ No, you stay here ’ Yul said then walk away but Yoong grabs her hand

 

‘ I’ll come back just wait me here ’ Yul smiles

 

‘ You promise? ’

 

Yul nods and walk out

 

Yoona’s POV

 

How can dad be so cruel???

 

After Yul left, I decide to go home and pack so stuff. If I need to choose between my family and Yul, I will choose Yul. I take a cab and went back to the mansion. I walk pass the living room and saw my parents watching TV.

 

‘ Hey Yoongie, you are back ’ he smiles

 

‘ Yes ’ I answer coldly

 

‘ Did something happen? ’ he asks worriedly

 

‘ Dad, I heard that 15 years ago you betrayed your partner and kicked him out of the company. Is that true? ’

 

I can see my father nervous face. So everything Yul said is true….

 

‘ Where did you heard about this? ’

 

‘ Just from someone ’ I answer then walk away

 

I pack my stuff and walk out my room.

 

‘ Where are you going? ’ mom asks

 

‘ Somewhere. Don’t search for me ’ with this I walk out of the mansion.

 

I went back to the hotel with my stuff.

 

Everyone’s POV

 

Jessica is sitting on the bench. YulTae arrive with the guys. Yul grabs Sica’s collar

 

‘ What have you done to my sister? ’ Yul asks angrily

 

‘ Yul, let’s go of her ’ Tae calm Yul’s down

 

Slowly Yul let’s go of Sica, the doctor comes toward them

 

‘ Doctor how my sister? ’ Tae asks

 

‘ She needs a operation, her head is injure seriously ’

 

‘ Will she be alright? ’

 

‘ We are not sure. She is in critically condition now ’ the doctor said

 

‘ You need to save my sister ’ Yul said

 

‘ We’ll make our effort ’ the doctor walks away

 

‘ Jessica, please go home now ’ Tae said

 

‘ Tae, let me stay here ’

 

‘ Ok but after the operation you need to leave immediatly ’

 

‘ But…. ’

 

‘ This is the only option I give you. If you don’t…. ’

 

‘ Ok, I will leave after the operation ’ Sica said while sobbing

 

TaeYul walk a few feets away from Sica.

 

‘ Oppa, did you guys tell mom about Soo? ’ Tae asks

 

‘ Not yet. She is in a board meeting right now. We will call her after her meeting ’ Siwon said

 

‘ Don’t tell her yet. Let’s wait until the operation. I’m sure Soo will be fine ’ Tae said

 

‘ Of course she will be fine ’ Yul said while wipping her tears.

 

A few hours later, the doctor comes out from the operation room.

 

Everyone rush toward him

 

‘ Doctor, how is my sister? ’ Yul asks

 

‘ The operation is success… ’

 

‘ Thank you so much doctor ’ Tae said

 

‘ But, she is in coma now. ’

 

‘ What do you mean in coma? ’

 

‘ We almost lost her during the operation ’

 

‘ When she will wake up? ’ Yul asks

 

‘ We don’t know, maybe a few days, a few weeks we don’t know. We will send her to a room ’ the doctor said

 

‘ Send her to a VVIP room ’ Yul said

 

The doctor eyes widened ‘ The VVIP room? ’

 

‘ Yes ’ Tae said

 

The doctor nods and walk away

 

Tae looks at Jessica

 

‘ Jessica, you should go home now ’

 

‘ Can I see her first? ’

 

‘ You promised that you will leave after the operation. Don’t come here again ’ Tae said

 

‘ What do you mean? ’

 

‘ Don’t come near Soo again ’ YulTae walk away

 

Jessica wants to chase after them to ask why but the guys block her

 

‘ Jessica, you may go home now. ’ Chansung said

 

‘ But Soo….. ’

 

‘ Jessica, please just leave. I’m sure this is the best for both of you ’ Kyoung-ho said

 

Jessica knows that she can’t pass by the three guys so she leave.

 

JeTi’s POV

 

Jessica arrives at the mansion and saw Fany crying inside her bedroom.

 

‘ Fany, what happen? ’

 

‘ Sica, Tae broke up with me ’ Fany said while crying

 

‘ Why? ’

 

‘ I don’t know, after a phone call she broke up with me ’

 

‘ A phone call? ’

 

‘ Yes. Why are you so late? ’

 

‘ I was at the hospital ’

 

‘ Omo, what happen? Where did you get hurt? ’

 

‘ Is not me, is Soo. She is in coma ’

 

‘ What happen? ’

 

‘ I don’t know, I confessed and everyting was fine until the phone call. Her car hit a big pole and after the operation she is in coma. Her sister don’t let me near her ’ Sica cries

 

‘ I wonder what is that call, why they all become like this ’ Fany said

 

‘ I don’t know. I so worry about Soo. What if something happen to her? ’ Sica cries

 

‘ Don’t worry, I’m sure everything will be fine ’ Fany hugs Sica

 

Sica nods ‘ By the way, where’s Yoong? ’

 

‘ I don’t know. I don’t see her the whole night. Mom and dad said she packed her stuff and leave the mansion ’

 

‘ What do you mean? ’

 

‘ Maybe, she forgot to bring something for the vacation with Yul ’ Fany said

 

‘ That’s impossible, Yul was there in the hospital ’ Sica said

 

Fany takes her phone out and dials Yoong’s number. But no answer

 

‘ Maybe she is playing somewhere. Let’s call her tomorrow ’ Sica said

 

Yoona’s POV

 

I went out of the cab who stop in front of the six stars hotel or maybe I should say the most luxurious hotel in Korea.

 

How can she affords to pay for a president suit? Maybe I should pay it now…..

 

I walk toward the reception desk

 

‘ How can I help you? ’ the girl smiles

 

‘ I’m I want to pay for my night at the president suit ’ I said while taking my credit card out

 

‘ Miss you don’t need to pay ’

 

‘ What do you mean? I stay there tonight ’ I ask confusedly

 

Is the hotel doing some promotion and that’s why Yul brings me here……..

 

‘ The president suit belong to miss Yuri ’

 

‘ What’s that mean? ’

 

The desk manager runs toward us ‘ Miss, you don’t need to pay for the president suit. We are doing some promotion so you can stay for free ’ he nervously said while glancing at the girl

 

‘ But she… ’

 

‘ She is new here, that’s why she don’t know the promotion. ’

 

‘ Ok then ’

 

I walk toward the elevator. I unpack my stuff and wait for Yul at the living room.

 

What the girl means when she said this suit belong to Yuri? I need to ask Yul when she comes back.

 

My phone rang and the ID is from Fany unnie. I decide to turn my phone off, I don’t want Yul to get mad at me.

 

The next morning

 

‘ Yoong ’

 

I slowly open my eye and saw Yul kneeling in front of the couch.

 

‘ Yul ’ I hug her tightly

 

‘ How’s Soo? ’

 

‘ She is in coma ’

 

‘ What? When she will wake up? ’

 

‘ We don’t know yet. Why are you sleeping on the couch? ’

 

‘ I was waiting for you last night and I fell asleep ’

 

‘ Yul…… ’

 

‘ Yes? ’

 

‘ Last night, the girl at the front desk told me that suit belong to you. What did she mean? ’

 

‘ This hotel belong to my family ’ Yul said

 

‘ What? That’s impossible. This hotel is own by the Choi Corporation the richest family in the world……… ’

 

‘ Yes, I’m one of the heiress of the Choi’s Corporation ’ Yul said

 

Slowly, Yul tells me everything that happen to her family this 15 years.

 

‘ I’m sorry for what my father did to your family ’ I said

 

‘ Is not your fault ’ Yul slowly said

 

‘ Yul, I already pack my stuff. We can leave whenever you want ’

 

‘ You what? ’

 

‘ I already told you. I will leave my family ’

 

‘ No, I can’t……… ’ I cut her off by kissing her lips

 

After a while we slowly pull off the kiss

 

‘ You love me right? ’

 

‘ I love you but we can’t be together ’ She finally admit

 

I smile and hug her

 

‘ We can, I don’t mind to keep our relation in secret ’

 

‘ No is not fair for you ’

 

‘ I don’t mind. All I want is to be with you ’

 

Yul looks at me ‘ Are you sure? ’

 

‘ Yes ’

 

Yul smiles and hugs me ‘ I love you Yoong ’

 

‘ I love you too Yul ’

 

‘ I will tell mom that I will take care of our business in Paris. So we can move there together. I’m sure she won’t find out about us ’ Yul said while hugging me

 

I nod ‘ I will follow you ’

 

‘ But we need to stay here for I while because of Soo…. ’

 

‘ I understand. Don’t worry, I won’t tell my family about your familly and your true identity ’ Yoong said

 

‘ Thank you Yoong. Can you do something for me? ’

 

‘ What it is? ’

 

‘ Go back home ’

 

‘ What? No ’ Yoong crossed her arms

 

‘ Listen, maybe we need to stay here for a while. If you don’t go home your parents will search for you. Also, you need to find an excuse to leave ’

 

‘ But what if I go back home and you leave me ’

 

‘ I promise I won’t leave you. You already know the biggest secret of me. If you scare, then leave your stuff here ’

 

‘……………’

 

‘ Yoong……. ’

 

‘ Can I see you during this time? I mean in secret ’ Yoong asks

 

‘ Of course, you can come here whenever you want and you can call me. You already have the key of this suit ’

 

Yul gives a kiss on Yoong’s forehead
