Heads Or Tails

Description

My best friend once told me that when I have really hard decision to make I should flip a coin, because while the coin is in the air, I’ll suddenly know what I really want. She told me that right before she flipped a coin and got on a plane, giving me a smile she was off into the world. I talk to her still all the time when something really worries me but right now I’m putting a lot of trust on this coin. Go to Korea or stay here. Heads I go tails I stay.

Flipping the coin up I already know what I really want, what I’m hoping for, as my quarter clanks on the floor, keeping my eyes adverted to the ceiling I wait for it to lay still on the ground. Hearing the metal clink around on the ground is making me nervous, glancing at the plane ticket I need to either confirm or cancel I glance down at the quarter. Heads, looks like it’s off to Korea after all. Moving the mouse around so that the arrow is on ‘confirm’ I click down on it, as the page is redirected I pick the quarter up. “Haven’t let me down yet.” I whisper kissing it before stowing it away in my pockets. Looking back at my computer screen I quickly pick a seat on my one-way ticket to Seoul, South Korea. Looks like the new life is a yes, the fresh start a definite.

Jessica Kim, is going to Korea to bring her closer to her culture, back to waht her family was. Along the way she meets five boys, each one to become an important part of her life, or will she pass up on the chance with them because of a coin? Does she put too much belief in the simple coin or not enough?

I have to say, I just keep re-reading this. Over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and...Well, you get the idea! :D

FACT: You did not just read all of that. ;)

Glad they're together. Thought she was going to end up with another member.

This is a really good story, a bit fast paced at parts, but very well written and it has a solid plotline. I enjoyed the dynamics of your OC and how she would go with the flow and see where fate took her, and when she developed into a more mature young woman it was a great transition. Thanks for writing such a wonderful story (that I am about to re-read because I enjoyed it so much).
