Chaerin

 

I woke up hearing voices in the middle of the night, I’m here sitting on top of my bed thinking where those voices came from

 

Is there someone inside the house?

 

I decided to went out  of my room to find where the voices are, I jump out of my bed then walk straight to my door, I open it and peek my head outside then I saw Ryo doing the same thing

 

“Hey Ryo? Did you hear that?” I asked her, Ryo look at me and nod her head

 

“I think it’s coming from Agent ParDee’s room..” she answered, I walk towards her then we both listen to the commotion

 

“What’s she doing?” I asked her again

 

“I don’t know, maybe she’s practicing some of her moves..” she answered

 

“Practicing? In the middle of the night? And I can hear another voices besides her..”

 

“Wanna come and take a look?” I nod my head once at her and we both walk towards her room

 

“You do the talking okay?” I heard Ryo said

 

“Why me?” I asked her

 

“Well ah you’re older than me so yeah that’s it..” I hit her head then continue on walking, we’re 3 more steps away from her door when all of a sudden the commotion stops inside her room

 

‘Maybe she’s watching a movie, Unnie’ Ryo whispered to me

 

‘No on watches a movie that loud’ I whispered back then we reached the door to her room and I knock on her door

 

“Who is it?” we heard Agent ParDee asked, I felt Ryo nudge my elbow and I rolled my eyes at her

 

“It’s Chaerin and Ryo..” I answered

 

‘Why did you said my name Unnie?’I heard Ryo asked me but I ignore her

 

“Oh, is there any problem?” she asked again

 

“Nothing but we heard commotions inside your room, is everything alright?” I asked

 

“Oh yeah, yeah, sorry, I’m just watching a movie a while ago..” I look at Ryo then she said

 

‘Told yah’

 

“Can we come in?” I asked again and this time Agent ParDee took a little while to respond

 

“Sorry Chaerin, I’m now and heading for the shower..” she answered

 

huh? Let’s see about that!

 

“it’s okay, just cover yourself with a towel or blanket..” I felt Ryo slap my arm

 

‘Unnie, she told you that she’s and you want to see her like that?’ Ryo whispered

 

‘No but I have a feeling that she’s hiding something from us..’ I answered back and this time I didn’t heard a word from Ryo, I look at her and she’s just looking at me

 

‘What?’ I asked her again but then we saw Agent ParDee opens the door

 

“Hey!” she said, she’s covered her body with bathrobe and she let us in, I saw her TV still open

 

“Sorry to disturb you..” She said to us

 

“It’s okay Agent ParDee, we’re just worried..” Ryo answered her, I look around her room finding anything suspicious but I didn’t saw anything

 

“Honestly, I heard another two voices coming inside your room that’s why I thought that someone might be inside the house” I said to her

 

“I have monitors here inside my room and I put alarms on door and windows downstairs, so there’s no way that someone might get in without me knowing it..” she answered

 

“Well maybe you really are not that good in handling things like this..”

 

“I don’t need to prove you anything Ms. Lee, like what I’ve said, I’ll always be at your back until this case is finish whether you like it or not..” I raise one of my eyebrows at her then turn around and walk away

 

“Sorry about that..” I heard Ryo said and followed me, I heard Agent ParDee’s voice said to me

 

“I will protect you at all cost Chaerin. You and Chaera, I did come back for you..” I stop on my tracks then turn around to look at her but the door to her room is already closed

 

“Did you heard that?” I asked Ryo

 

“Heard what?” she asked, I look at her for a moment then to the door

 

Why do I have this weird feeling that I know this Agent ParDee that everytime I want to get mad at her a voice inside is telling me that I can trust her like the day I trusted Dara, could it be?

 

“Heard what Unnie?” I hear Ryo asked me again, I shook my head at her

 

“Nothing, you go back to sleep okay..” I said and went straight back to my room

 

 

 

1 hour ago

 

“AGENT PARDEE IS NONE OTHER THAN DARA-UNNIE?!!!!” JB yelled at Minji when Agent ParDee turn around

 

“God damn it JB! You don’t need to yell!” Minji yelled back, this time Dara is aware tha Minji and JB are inside her room

 

“Sh*t!! I’m so busted now!!

 

“Minji!! JB!!” Dara said but the two didn’t came out from their hiding spot

 

“Don’t make me try to find you or else!” she said again this time, she saw the two emerge under her bed

 

Damn these two! They are always hiding without me knowing it!

 

“What are you doing here huh?” Dara asked them but the two didn’t said a word and just looking at her

 

“Answer me when I asked you questions!” Dara yelled

 

“Are you a ghost that came back for your family?” Dara heard JB asked her, Minji on the hand kick her cousins left foot and look at Dara

 

“What’s going on Unnie? We thought you are dead!” Minji asked her

 

“I asked you first Minji, what are you guys doing here?” Dara asked in a calm voice

 

“Well uhm we thought it’s my room, the hallway is too dark and we can’t see a thing. I don’t know why you always turn off the light in the hallway..” JB explained

 

“We just realized that it’s your room when we saw some weird stuff hanging on your wall and it’s too late to get out of your room because we saw you climbing on the stairs..” Minji added, Dara then sigh and pull the chair in front of the cabinet

 

“What am I going to do with you two” she said while wiping her face using both of her hands

 

“Sorry Unnie but the important thing is that you are alive, right? Chaerin-Unnie will be happy to know that!” JB said, Dara then look at her then to Minji

 

“I need you two to promise me that you won’t tell Chaerin that I’m alive..” she said, the smile on Minji and JB’s face disappear

 

“Why Unnie? Don’t you know that she’s suffering too much because of your death?” Minji asked her

 

“I’m aware of that Minji but this is not the right time for her to know that I’m alive..”

 

“But Unnie..” JB said

 

“No but’s JB! Just do what I told you to do!” Minji look at JB then the latter did the same, Dara knows that look

 

These two is up to something!

 

Then right in front of her, JB and Minji run towards the door

 

“Chaerin-Unnie!!!” MInji screamed, Dara cover with her hand

 

“Don’t scream Mnji!” Dara said but this time it’s JB’s turn to scream

 

“Dara-Unnie is alive!!” Dara then place her other hand on JB’s mouth, she carry the two eventhough they are a bit taller than her, she then push the two on the bed

 

“One more scream from you two and you’ll regret doing it!” Dara warned them but the two is persistent to let Chaerin know the truth then all of a sudden Minji stood up and run towards the door but Dara is way too fast for her, she grab Minji’s hand but JB grab her right foot

 

“I got her Unnie! Open the door!” JB said to Minji

 

“She’s holding my arm stupid!!” Minji yelled, JB didn’t let go of Dara’s foot and Minji is keep on reaching for the door

 

“Okay that’s it!! You two won’t listen to me then it’s time to do some drastic measures!” Dara said, she pulled Minji and push her towards JB, the two collided with each other

 

“Get off me! My you’re a** is big!” JB said to Minji and push her aside

 

“My a** is not big!!” Minji fired back then they saw Dara standing in front of them holding a gun

 

“You leave me with no choice..” Dara said

 

“Oh no Dara-Unnie were just kidding and playing with you, right JB?” Minji said

 

“Playing? I thought we’re going to—“ MInji cover JB’s mouth and look at Dara

 

“Just do what I say and no one will get hurt..” Dara said, she wanted to laugh, the gun she’s holding is not real. She tie the two and let them sit on the bed

 

“You know that I’m the worst enemy anyone can have and you two are not excluded here..” she said

 

“You mean you are our enemy now?” JB asked her, Dara smiled while Minji look at her cousin

 

“Just shut up JB okay?!” Minji said to her

 

“I’m not your enemy but all I want you guys to do is to promise me that you won’t tell a thing to Chaerin what you found out this night..”

 

“But why?” Minji asked her, Dara sigh

 

“It’s a bit complicated Minji, in time I will explain to you guys the reason why and why did I pretend that I’m already dead..”

 

“For now, all I want for Chaerin to do is to concentrate on her part being one of the Agents in our team, I don’t want any distractions for her that’s why im asking you not to tell anything..” she added

 

“Okay Unnie, we won’t say a thing..” Minji said, Dara looks at JB, she know among the two, JB is the one who can’t keep a secret for too long, she has this tendency to blurted out anything she wants to say

 

“JB?”

 

“Okay fine, I won’t say anything, just don’t look at me all the time. I’m not good hiding things and you know that..” she said then Agent ParDee stood up and looks at the door

 

‘Chaerin and Ryo is coming. Quick, hide inside my bathroom..’ Dara whispered

 

“But you need to untie us..” Minji said, Dara untie Minji but not JB

 

“Hey!! What about me?” JB asked her

 

“Sorry JB but I know sometimes you get excited, MInji cover and don’t you two dare to move or get out from there..” Dara said

 

 

 

The Next Morning

 

 

Mr. Choi together with his son and team went to Chaerin’s house that morning

 

“Okay Chaerin, here are the information that will lead us in capturing Dong-jun’s son..” Mrr. Choi said, Chaerin took the paper on top of the table and opens it

 

“We found out that they are Dong-jun’s second family. Ms. Jung is his mistress but she decided to stop seeing him after knowing what his husband did..” Mr. Choi added

 

“He used Ms. Jung in order to seek for Dara’s help to be her bodyguard but the main target here is your daughter..” Seunghyun said

 

“My daughter?” Chaerin asked

 

“They will exchange your daughter for Dong-jun’s freedom, his son, Kenshin adores his father so much while his daughter, Aoi, who took Chaera that day wants to help you in capturing heer brother that’s why she took Chaera to a safe place for a while”

 

“And now that Kenshin knows that Dara is dead, he will do anything to get you and Chaera in exchange for his father’s freedom that’s why Agent ParDee will be in command of this mission. I want you and your cousins to do what she will tell you to do..” Mr. Choi said, Chaerin then look at Agent ParDee who smiled at her

 

“But I can take care of myself..” Chaerin said

 

“Yes you can but you are not fit to do this alone, you still need someone who will guide you in your way. Chaerin this is not about avenging Dara’s death, we need to put an end to this sooner..” Chaerin then nodded her head and stood up, she walk towards Agent ParDee who is standing in between Minji and JB

 

“I don’t like you at all but for my daughter’s sake, I will cooperate with you..” Chaerin said to her, ParDee smiled and extend her arm

 

“You’ll do what I want you to do, my lead and no but’s..” ParDee said, Chaerin rolled her eyes at her but accept Agent ParDee’s hand and shake it, Bom smiled and look at Seunghyun

 

Let the war begins! Agent C.M and Agent F.C.T are in the house!
