Agent ParDee

 

 

Here I am standing in front of Minji and JB who is looking at me with a big question on their faces

 

 

“What are you guys doing there?” I asked trying to ignore what they asked a while ago

 

 

“Oh, we’re just checking Chaera if she’s okay. It’s our routine. Sometimes it’s Ryo-Unnie and JB but sometimes it’s me and her..” Minji explained

 

 

“Yeah it’s our—Hey! I just realize that it’s unfair! I check Chaera twice while you two—“ Minji cut JB off and look at me

 

 

“Why are you here? And why you crying?” Minji asked again, I know I can’t get out of this situation so I need to answer them

 

 

“Minji… JB..” I said, the two look at me then I sigh

 

 

“I.. I also have a baby but she’s not with me now..” I answered

 

 

“Huh? Is she dead?” JB asked me, I saw Minji hit her head and look at me

 

 

This two never fails to make me laugh

 

 

“Sorry about that but ah where is she?” Minji asked

 

 

“She’s at home with my parents..” I answered

 

 

“That’s why you said that you miss her so much while looking at Chaera?” JB asked, I never thought that she’ll remembers that

 

 

“Yes, she looks like her. Sweet and has angelic face..” I answered and smiled

 

 

“Then why you accepted this job? We could tell Chaerin-Unnie to—“ I walk towards them and and place my arms on each other’s shoulder

 

 

“No please, don’t tell Chaerin about this. I don’t want her to think that I’m not suitable for this kind of job. I need to do this for my baby, yeah I missed her but all I’m doing is for her..” I said, I saw both of them look at each other and nodded their heads

 

 

“Okay we won’t tell her..” Minji answered, I sigh and look down

 

 

Man that was close!

 

 

“Thanks. Uhm okay you need to go back to bed now, I’ll sleep here with her..” I said

 

 

“You sure?” JB asked

 

 

“I’m sure, don’t worry, she’s safe with me..” the two of them walk to the crib and caress Chaera’s face

 

 

“We’ll see you tomorrow..” I heard Minji said, I look at JB who is still looking at me then Minji tap her shoulder, she walk towards her crib and said

 

 

“Don’t be scared little one. Agent ParDee is here to protect you. I know you will like her because she looks like your mommy Dara..” she said

 

 

 

The Next Morning

 

 

Chaerin

 

 

I had a dream about Dara, she’s waving at me and telling me that she loves me so much. God how much I miss her! I don’t know if I can go on another day without her by my side. She told me that I needed to trust my new bodyguard that she’ll help us a lot but for now, after what happened, I don’t trust anyone, just my family and close friends

 

 

“Good Morning!” I heard Minji said, I look at her and saw Ryo and JB at her back

 

 

“Morning..”  answered, I watch them sit on their places and smiled

 

 

“Where’s Agent ParDee?” Ryo asked me, I shrug my shoulders at her

 

 

“I don’t know and I don’t care wherever she is..” I answered

 

 

“Unnie, come on. Please be easy on her, she’s just doing her job..” Ryo said to me

 

 

“She’s right though we still don’t like her that much, she’s not doing anything bad to you..” Minji then butted in, I look at JB who put a hotdog on

 

 

“I’m eating so I won’t say anything..” she said and chew her food

 

 

“There’s nothing to like about her. She replace my wife on her team, if Bom-Unnie is okay with that well not me. Beside there’s nothing to like about her..” Chaerin answered

 

 

“We didn’t said that you need to like her, we just want you to be easy on her. She’s not done anything bad to you Unnie..” Ryo said but Chaerin ignored her

 

 

“You three finish eating, I’m going upstairs..” she said and leave the three behind

 

 

“We can’t force Unnie to be easy on Agent ParDee..” JB said and look at the two

 

 

“Then what can we do?” Minji asked

 

 

“Nothing, you know her a lot. Only Dara-Unnie can make her say yes..” JB answered, Ryo look at the two then to Agent ParDee who is standing outside and talking to someone over the phone

 

 

Sorry if I had to keep a secret from you guys

 

 

 

 

 

It’s been two weeks since Agent ParDee starts to be the bodyguard of Lee Chaerin, her baby and cousins but like what she does, she always disobey her command

 

 

“What do I need to do for you to accept me huh?” Agent ParDee asked Chaerin when she went inside her room after she found out that Chaerin removed all the cctv cameras she place in every room and in every corner of the house

 

 

“I told you for a thousand times! I don’t need you to protect me and my family, I can do this alone!” Chaerin answered

 

 

“You can’t Chaerin! Dara had thought you a lot of things but not all of the things you need to know in protecting someone’s life!” Agent ParDee  yelled, Ryo push Minji and JB outside Chaerin’s room

 

 

“You two, go and watch Chaera for a while..” she said, she then close the door and look at her and Chaerin

 

 

“Why are you so damn stupid huh?! You really think that they hired me to replace your wife?! They didn’t Chaerin because I can’t  replace her no matter what!” she added

 

 

“Am I not enough for them? I can be like Dara! I want to capture the man who killed my wife! I want to capture him with my own hands!”

 

 

“Then what? Huh? You will kill him too? Do you think that’s the answer for all of this??” Chaerin didn’t said a word

 

 

“That when you kill him, you and Dong-jun will be fair. Don’t you ever think of your daughter Chaerin? Don’t you ever think about her safety?!” but still Chaerin doesn’t said a single word

 

 

“You will put her life in greater danger not only her but everyone on this family!”

 

 

“I know what I’m doing Agent ParDee!” Chaerin answered

 

 

“Really? Okay then what will you do in case some of Dong-jun’s men came in and try to take your baby away from you again?” Agent ParDee asked her

 

 

“How will you protect Minji, JB and Ryo? You have 4 lives in your hands Chaerin, four lives!”

 

 

“They are old enough but they still will rely on you! I’m here doing my job! I’m here to protect you and them and you push me way too far lady!” Agent Pardee added, she then look at Ryo who went out of the room now

 

 

“You won’t leave this room of yours for the entire day! Try to disobey me again and you’ll see who’s a  lot scarier when they get mad, me or Agent C.M.!” she said and walk towards the door, went outside and slam it

 

 

“Uhm Agent ParDee?” Ryo said, ParDee look at her

 

 

“I think you need  a time off too, come on. Let’s go to the kitchen..” she added, ParDee nodded her head and smiled a little to Ryo

 

 

“Where’s Minji and JB?” she asked

 

 

“Oh they went out, they asked Bom-Unnie to go with them because they know you can’t come with them now that Chaerin-Unnie removed all the cameras inside and outside the house..”

 

 

“Yeah, I don’t know what I’ll do with her. You know sometimes I want to give up..” ParDee answered, Ryo held her hand and squeeze it

 

 

“You need a lot more patience Unnie just think about your baby and soon this problem of yours will soon be over..” Ryo said

 

 

 

 

 

Later that night..

 

 

“Well it’s Chaerin’s fault..” Bom said when she stop the car in front of the Park-Lee Residence

 

 

“You can’t blame Chaerin-Unnie for this, you guys should have understand her..” JB said

 

 

“I didn’t said that we don’t understand her and we blamed her for everything. We hired ParDee to be your bodyguard while we’re still working on this case..” Bom answered

 

 

“But Unnie, her and Chaerin-Unnie don’t get along too well..” Minji butted in

 

 

“Then ParDee to win Chaerin’s trust..”

 

 

“How can we do that? We don’t like her that much..” Bom look at the two behind her

 

 

“Why?” she asked

 

 

“Well we saw her looking at Chaerin-Unnie a couple of times like she have a crush on her..” Minji answered

 

 

“So? There’s nothing wrong if ParDee have a crush on her..”

 

 

“No, we only want Dara-Unnie for her..” JB butted in

 

 

“Guys, it’s only a crush and she won’t replace Dara on her heart..”

 

 

“I don’t know, sometimes I like her that I feel like I know her a lot but everytime I saw her looking at Unnie and Chaerain a different way, I don’t like it..” Minji explained, Bom laugh and shook her head

 

 

“Agent ParDee is only doing her job, nothing more, nothing less..”

 

 

“I hope so because I will kick her if she tries to seduce Chaerin-Unnie..” Bom laugh again and look at the two

 

 

“Okay fine, now you two get inside, tell ParDee that I will give her a call later..” Bom said, the two nodded their heads and went out of the car, when Bom saw them went inside the gate, she sigh and look at the house

 

 

“If you only knew guys, if you only knew..” she said and speed off

 

 

 

 

Inside the House

 

 

“I’m hungry!” JB said to Minji when they are about to climb upstairs

 

 

“You ate two burgers, one plate of spaghetti and a pizza then you’re telling me that you are hungry?!” Minji said to her

 

 

“Yah! What’s wrong with that?! Growing up kids need to eat ya know!”

 

 

“You’re not a kid anymore! I don’t know where do you put all those food you ate! You hardly gained weight!”

 

 

“It’s called fast metabolism!”

 

 

“Shut up! Just grab some sandwhich and a water..”

 

 

“Okay..” Minji watch her cousin walk away and went to the kitchen, she look around and saw that the cameras are back on their places

 

 

Wow! Agent ParDee is fast!

 

 

“Come on..” JB said to her and they climb upstairs. The two keep on telling stories to one another, making some plans to bring Chaera on the park tomorrow morning. When they are upstairs, they saw that the hallway is a little too dim

 

 

“It looks like a haunted hallway..” JB said

 

 

“Stop it JB! Just walk to your room so we can turn on the lights..” the two cousins continue to walk, they lower their voices down so Chaerin, Agent ParDee and Chaera won’t hear them. Minji tell a story to JB and the latter laugh while pushing her cousin away then turn to her right and enters the room

 

 

“I almost choke Unnie! Next time don’t tell me funny stories while I’m eating!” JB said while they went inside

 

 

“Well next time try not to eat too much, geez!” Minji said and walk towards the wall and hit the switch button

 

 

“I told you I’m hungry! There’s nothing wrong with that..” JB answered and throw her shopping bags at the couch but instead of falling it on top, she heard a thud on the floor

 

 

Where the hell is my couch?

 

 

“Ah JB?” Minji said while JB is still looking at her shopping bags on the floor

 

 

“I think we entered the wrong room..” Minji added, JB then look around and found out that they are inside Agent ParDee’s room

 

 

“Oh man!!” JB said

 

 

“You don’t know the exact location of your room?” Minji asked her

 

 

“It’s too dark! I can’t even see  thing!” JB answered, Minji shook her head and was about to walk towards the door when they saw something hanging on the wall

 

 

“What is that?” JB asked her

 

 

“Beats me!” Minji answered and JB touch it

 

 

“It’s some sort of a plastic rubber formed into human sculpture..” JB said

 

 

“Why does Agent ParDee has a thing like that in her room?” Minji asked her

 

 

“I’m not Agent ParDee idiot!”

 

 

“I’m just asking stupid!”

 

 

“Maybe it’s a bullet proof vest, the new evolution vest!”

 

 

“For real JB? A vest with b**bs on it?!”

 

 

“Well yeah, they need to protect their b**bs you know!”

 

 

“Shut up!”

 

 

“Fine but we need to go before Agent ParDee saw us in here..” JB grab her shopping bags while Minji went to the door, she open it a little but saw Agent ParDee climbing the stairs

 

 

‘She’s here!’ she whispered, JB then widen her eyes while looking at her cousin

 

 

‘We need to run!’ she whispered back

 

 

‘We can’t! She will sees us!' JB peek thru the door then run towards the switch and turn it off

 

 

‘Hide!’ she said

 

 

Minji and JB hide under Agent ParDee’s bed, they wait for her to come inside her room

 

 

‘What are we going to do now huh?' JB asked Minji

 

 

‘I don’t know! This is all your fault!’ Minji answered

 

 

‘My fault? I didn’t do anything!’

 

 

‘You don’t know where your room is at!’

 

 

‘Well it’s pretty dark and I miscalculated my turn!’

 

 

‘Shut up!’ Minji then place her hand on JB’s mouth when she saw Agent ParDee went in

 

 

“I didn’t saw them, maybe they are already inside their room..” they heard Agent ParDee said, she’s talking to someone over the phone

 

 

“Yeah, uh huh. Don’t worry Unnie, I got this under control..” she said again

 

 

‘Is she talking to Bom-Unnie?’ Minji asked JB who nodded her head then remove Minji’s hand on

 

 

‘Unnie said that she will call Agent ParDee right?’

 

 

‘Yeah’ they both look at her again

 

 

“Okay Unnie, see you tomorrow..” they heard her said, Agent ParDee threw her phone on the bed then she look at the mirror and saw her removing her contact lens

 

 

‘She’s weaing a contact lens?’ Minji said to herself JB then hit her cousins arm when she saw that Agent ParDee remove something inside

 

 

‘She’s a vampire! Oh my god!’ JB said

 

 

‘Stupid! Vampires can’t go out in daylight, Agent ParDee can!’

 

 

‘Oh yeah, kekeke sorry!’ they both look at her again

 

 

“I don’t like using this thing, it hurts so much!” they heard her then Minji and JB look at each other then to Agent ParDee again, they saw her remove her clothes and saw that she’s wearing the plastic rubber they saw hanging on the wall

 

 

“And this thing is heavy! Man! How long am I gonna wear this thing!” Agent ParDee said, the two who is still hiding under the bed can’t take their eyes on what they saw

 

 

‘Tell me I’m not seeing things, JB! Tell me!’ Minji said, she tried hard not to scream or move so  Agent ParDee won’t see them but she look at her stunned cousin

 

 

‘JB!’ Minji said again, this time JB look at her then blurted out loud

 

 

“AGENT PARDEE IS NONE OTHER THAN DARA-UNNIE?!!!”
