With midterms and unnie's one month memorial, I was kept busy~

Taeyeon POV

It was a normal Saturday morning.

Sunny and I had opened our daycare for the kids to come in.

Obviously not many of them came since most parents had the day off.

But a few had showed so I had Yoona take care of them as I took care of some of the paperwork.

Sunny was in the kitchen making lunch and preparing for snacktime.

So I was quite bored being stuck in the office by myself.

Luckily the phone rang saved me from my boredom.

"Hello?"

"Hello Taeyeon-ah? Is that you?"

"Omo~! Ppani-ah~?? Is that really you?"

The person on the other line chuckled.

"Hahaha~ yep it's me. And I'm back in Korea~!"

My eyes flew open in surprise.

"WHATTTT?!?! You're HOME~! Why didn't Yoong tell us?"

"Keke~ because it's a surprise. Don't tell Yoona kay? I'm heading over to the daycare now, so I'll see you soon!"

"Alright! I can tell Sunny that you're coming though right?"

"Of course~! I'll be there in an hour! Bye Tae!"

"See you soon Tiff~!"

Just then Sunny walked into the room as I hung up on the phone.

"Who were you just talking to Tae?"

I clapped my hands excitedly.

"Tiffany's coming back~! She'll be here in an hour! BUT we have to keep it a secret from Yoong!"

My fiance smiled widely and nodded.

"Omo yay! That's so exciting! How long has it been? Two years?"

I nodded happily.

"Mhmmm~ we should go to dinner or something together."

Sunny gave me a tight squeeze to calm me down.

"Sweetie I think we should let Fany and Yoongie have some time together. Then maybe we can all go do something..."

I pouted but I knew Sunny had a point.

"Alright... anyway what brings you in here Sunny Bunny?"

"Oh~! Right! There's someone who wants to apply their kid here. Yoona and her are waiting outside."

"Oh... on a Saturday??? That's unusual. Bring them in I guess?"

Sunny opened the door and called the duo in.

I almost felt out of my chair in surprise when I saw the woman walk in with Yoona.

"KWON YURI?!? Is that really you?"

The woman beside Yoona froze and her eyes opened wide.

"Oh my gosh... Kim Taeyeon???"

We both squealed excitedly and hugged each other.

"Omo~ how long has it been??!! Yah~ you kkab~! Why didn't you tell me you were back in Korea???"

"Aish you midget~! You changed your number on me~!!!"

Sunny started to narrow her eyes at us and I coughed awkwardly letting Yuri go.

"You two know each other unnie?" questioned Yoona who looked very confused.

I beamed at Yul.

"Yep she was my best buddy up until high school. She went to America for school and I guess we lost contact then."

Sunny finally relaxed and smiled brightly at Yuri.

"Well I had no idea you knew my Taeyeon~ I'm Sunny, Tae-Tae's wife~!"

Yuri chuckled and took Sunny's hand.

"And you heard my name, Kwon Yuri. Call me Yuri, it's a pleasure to meet you."

"Well Yoong and I'll leave you alone. Have fun you two~!"

Yoona bowed at Yuri.

"It was nice meeting you Yuri-ssi."

Yuri immediately turned bright red.

"I-I.. uhmmm... it was nice meeting you too Yoona-ssi..."

Yoong bowed one more time and she followed Sunny out.

As soon as the left they room I smirked and punched Yuri in the arm.

She jumped back in surprise and rubbed at where I had punched her.

"OW! What the hell Tae?!?!"

"Yah~! You were just staring at Yoona weren't you? Sneaky little fox~!"

I wagged by eyebrows up and down at her.

Yuri blushed a brilliant red and looked to her feet.

"I w-w-was not..."

"Hahaha~... It's okay to look Yul, she IS my pretty dongsaeng. Sadly like all the pretty ones, she's taken."

The black pearl's face turned into a slight frown.

"She's with someone?" she asked quietly.

"Yep," I chuckled at her reaction and pinched her cheeks, "but you never know... you may still have a chance."

Yuri frowned at me and swatted my hands away from her face.

"Whatever Tae... anyway ummm... so I have a kid."

"WOOOOW what a surprise, that the player finally got knocked up," I say with my voice dripping with sarcasm.

"But wait weren't you into chicks? How did that happen Yul? You knock someone up?"

Yuri rolled her eyes at me.

"If you would just let me tell you the story it'll all make sense."

It took quite a while for Yuri to explain her circumstances and for me to coprehend the situation.

After she was done with her story, we were both quiet inside.

Yul looked tired as she rested her head in her hands.

"I don't even know what do Tae... I mean me? A parent? This must be someon'es idea of a sick joke..."

I looked towards the window which faced out to where Soojung and Sulli were currently playing.

They were chasing each other and giggling hysterically.

The scene made me smile. There must be a reason why Yuri was brought here.

Soojung had reunited Yuri and I.

So I had a feeling the little girl was meant to be here for Yuri; the black pearl had a lot to learn.

"Fate and destiny never makes mistakes Yul. There must be a reason why you've been given a child."

"But how the heck am I going to balance my own life and raise a kid?"

I shrugged.

"That's something you're going to have to learn. We'll take care of her while you're at work though."

"Why can't you just take her in?" whined Yuri.

"Well you are legally responsible for this child. We can only take her in when you abandon or neglect your duties as her guardian. But that means you will be a criminal and face charges for child abuse. Did you want that?"
