Ryeowook dragged her feet as she moved slowly towards the school gate. She was in no hurry to get out. She knew that once she stepped out of that school she might never see him again.

Though she seemed normal, her female radar was on, searching for that voice, that presence. Beside her, Sungmin and Eunhyuk talked nonstop, understanding what Ryeowook was going through, trying to avoid uncomfortable silences.

No matter how slow she walked, she finally reached the school gate. She stood at the side, clinging to her last shred of hope that Yesung would appear. Sungmin coughed needlessly and Eunhyuk bit her lip.

"Hey Ryeowook!"

Ryeowook jerked her head up hopefully, only to see Donghae. Her head drooped again.

Either not noticing or not caring, Donghae talked on.

"What school did you get into?"
"S.M High."

Donghae laughed and winked.

"Me and Yesung too!"

Yesung walked up to the school gate and saw Donghae waiting for him, lounging against a pillar. He walked up to him.

"Hey," he said emotionlessly. "Thanks for waiting."
Donghae punched him on the chest playfully.

"D'you know who got into the same school as us? Eunhyuk and Ryeowook! I never expected that, always thought they would get into the same school as Sungmin .."

Yesung felt his heart stitch back together.

While less than twenty metres away, Ryeowook was pinching herself hard. Trying to convince herself this was not a dream. She had gotten into the same school as Yesung. She had gotten into the same school as Yesung. She had gotten into the same school as Yesung.

"Ouch!"
