“Please stop,” she begged him nervously, clutching on to his body tightly. “Please!”

“Don’t worry!” he grinned at her, with a confidence that she knew so well. “I’m barely going over the speed limit!”

“This doesn’t feel safe!” she replied over the roar of the loud engine, feeling her hair being whipped back by the wind. “Please slow down!” He was silent for a bit as she tightened her grip on him, burying her face into the material of his favorite jacket, her heart pounding loudly in her chest.

“Do you love me?” he spontaneously asked her, catching her by surprise as she raised her head slowly, watching his expression from his rearview mirrors. “Can you tell me that you love me?”

“Yes, yes, I love you!” she squeezed her eyes shut, holding onto his slender waist with her entire body, “please slow down!”

“Take my helmet off,” he spoke loudly over the roaring engine, “and put it on yourself. It’s giving me a crick in my neck.” With one hand wrapped around his body, she slowly unclipped his helmet from under his neck, transferring it to herself. Her hand shook as she desperately tried to clasp the helmet shut, terrified that she would accidentally let go and be blown away from him. “Is it on?” he called over his shoulder, “tightly?”

“Yes,” she replied, quickly wrapping her arms around him again, “please slow down!”

“I love you, Taeyoung,” his voice came in a whisper as a bright yellow light suddenly gleamed down on them, sending everything into total darkness.

And then she woke up.
