He remembers the sound of screeching and crashing of steel and vehicles. The blurry vision of blood and lights. The call of the siren echoed in his brain before he was engulfed in complete darkness. He remembers waking up in dark abyss, his vision totally blank.  He remembers being paralyzed once the words "Blind." escaped from the Doctor's mouth. He remembers losing hope of living, knowing that not only his vision was taken but also his only Family.

He remembers clearly the touch of a woman's hand as she placed an unfamiliar object on his hand. He remembers her as long as he lives.
