Thank God we found the gift shop, and quickly bought Jonghyun some tourist-y shorts that said “I Heart Rollercoasters!” on the side.

He could barely look me in the face since it was embarrassing to pee your pants at age eighteen.

Taemin suddenly rushed to us, waving frantically.

Jonghyun had phoned each of the SHINee members, citing an “emergency”.

“What happened, hyung?” Taemin asked us. “Did he touch your Pokéballs?” he asked me.

What?

“What the heck are Pokéballs?” I asked incredulously.

“Those things,” Taemin said, pointing at my chest.

Oh no he didn’t.

“What did you say?” I growled.

“Jonghyun hyung told me that every girl has two Pokéballs attached to their chest and that’s why it always looks like they have two lumps there,” Taemin said unknowingly. “He told me that if anybody touched them, Pikachu would come out!”

Man, this kid was too naïve.

“How hilarious,” I muttered sarcastically. I gave Jonghyun a “What-were-you-thinking” look, but he was too busy pretending to whistle and look the other way.

The problem is, he can’t whistle, so it sounded like someone was farting five billion times in a row.

Taemin was still looking at us curiously, and I realized we hadn’t answered his first question yet.

“Your almighty hyung here peed his pants,” I told him while Jonghyun blushed and quickly put his hands into the pockets of his newly-bought pants.

“Oh, that was the emergency?” Taemin asked, laughing. “That’s not a big deal! I pee my pants at least twice every week at home,”

Too much information.

Onew and Minho came next. Onew was holding two chicken drumsticks in his hands while Minho just walked slowly.

Oh, how handsome he is!

‘He probably would never pee his pants,’ I thought to myself, shooting a glare in Jonghyun’s direction.

At that moment, Key pranced by.

“Look at this skirt! Isn’t it gorgeous?” he asked, showing me a pale pink skirt that was incredibly short.

“Thanks for the gift, Key, but it’s a bit short for my taste,” I replied.

“It’s not for you, silly! It’s for me!” Key declared.

The other members, seemingly all used to Key’s behavior, just rolled their eyes.

After informing them all about Jonghyun’s *coughs* unfortunate accident, we made our way to the parking lot.

“I’ll ride in Onew hyung’s car!” Taemin cried out happily, while Minho just walked directly to the car.

“Me too!” Key scurried after them.

All that was left was Jonghyun and I.

“I’ll wait for the bus,” I said awkwardly before waving.

“I can drive you home,” Jonghyun replied quietly, looking at the floor.

“No, it’s okay. I can wait –“

“I said I can drive you home,” Jonghyun said in a louder voice this time. I was still hesitating, and so he just pulled me by the arm towards his car.

Jonghyun’s Point of View:

I don’t know what overcame me. Why did I offer to drive her home? I had never even driven the girls I played with before. I just had fun with them and left by myself.

I quickly glanced at her, and to my surprise, she was looking at me too.

We both looked away at the same time, and it was eerily silent.

I wished Key was in my car, so at least there would be his constant jabbering breaking the silence.

It was awkward the entire ride home.

Soo Hyun’s Point of View:

It was so quiet, and yet every time I opened my mouth, nothing came out.

Yes, the queen of chattering (AKA me) was practically mute.

I glanced at him a few times to see his reaction to everything, but what was weird was that we always looked at each other at the exact same time.

I’ve watched my share of dramas, and this was supposed to mean that we were a “match made in heaven” or something.

Maybe I’ve just watched too many dramas.

Whenever we looked at each other, I felt something stir in me, and the feeling was quite…weird.

I thought about my day. Jonghyun had been an okay guy today; sweet under that ego of his. I actually had fun, something that was unexpected.

“2600 Queens Boulevard”, I told him my address. Hopefully, he wasn’t a stalker.

As soon as he arrived at my house, I climbed out of the car and thanked him. I didn’t want any a conversation with him because I was scared about what was developing inside of me.

The last thing I want to do is fall in love with a player.
