"Yah! Come back here, my love!" she shouted as she ran towards a bus covered completely with the promotional poster of an idol. Running after her is Onew, her boyfriend. 

 

She recalled an episode from her favorite drama, Meteor Garden.

 

 

"Dao Ming Si!" she exclaimed as she pounded at the side of the bus.

 

 

People started looking at them as they heard Tiffany's high-pitched voice.

 

 

Onew covered himself out of embarassment, "I don't know this girl."

 

 

Tiffany pinched his cheeks, "How dare you deny me like that."

 

 

"Can we stop running? You won't be able to catch up with that bus anyways," he said.

 

 

She stopped and looked at him as they panted.

 

 

"I definitely can catch up with that bus, I can even outrun that," she bragged.

 

 

"Really? What a joke," he continued, "you can't even outrun a bike."

 

 

With that, she slapped the back of his head, big time.

 

 

They looked at the bus they were running into a while ago, and saw that it stopped- red light.

 

 

"Hey! What was that for?" he asked trying to look innocent.

 

 

"I'm hungry," she said, changing the topic.

 

 

"So shall we get going?" he asked and looked at her.

 

 

She took a final glance at the bus and whispered, "Dao Ming Si."

 

 

"Stop that," Onew said and held her hand.

It was cold, her hand.

 

Why wouldn't it feel cold? It was negative ten outside and she started pounding a bus, even removing the mitten she was wearing for a realistic appeal.

 

Seriously, this girl is crazy, he thought and smiled.

 

 

"Where shall we go?" he asked.

 

 

"Let's go to Pluto," she answered.

 

 

He looked at her at disbelief, "What? You haven't heard of that place?"

 

 

He smiled and nodded.

 

 

"Then we should keep going. It's freezing here," he said and rubbed their hands together.

 

 

"Wiiiii! You're sweet, Sugarplum" she blurted and hugged him tightly.

 

 

"Seriously, you're definitely bold," he replied.

It's past nine when they arrived at their destination. And true to her words, there is a place called Pluto- it was a traditional restaurant that offers fusion cuisines.

 

 

"See? I told ya!" she said threw her hands up in the air.

 

 

"You're really embarassing," he said and jokingly walked pass her.

 

 

"Join me in my embarassment, Sugarpie," she retorted.

 

 

Being the supportive boyfriend that he is, Onew threw his hands and shouted, "Let's go to Pluto!"

She looked at the menu and didn't understand a single thing.

 

 

It was written in weird curves and that looks like Greek alphabet in its Eubeoean form.

 

 

She coughed, signaling him that she don't know what to order. 

 

 

He shook his head. He didn't knew what to order, too. 

 

 

She was the one who insisted to come there in the first place.

 

 

He quickly thought of an idea that would rescue them from such an embarassing moment, "Just give us your best seller."

 

 

Tiffany silently smiled and put her thumbs up, "Witty."

 

 

He made a clucking sound and pointed to himself, mimicking a character from a drama.

 

 

Before she can speak, the food arrived. 

 

 

She didn't talked while she ate.

 

 

She didn't even threw a glance at him, making it look like she is sharing the table with a stranger.

 

 

"Mi Young," he chuckled, "Stop ignoring me."

 

 

"Ignore, verb, to refuse to take notice of. Stop, verb, to restrain," she continued, "So shall I restrain myself from refusing to take notice of you?"

 

 

He was taken aback by the sudden change in her way of talking.

 

 

"To restrain... Refuse... Take not... Wait what?" he said, confused by the outburst of words.

 

 

"Nothing. I knew that I'm smarter than you, Honeypie," she replied.

 

 

"What the... Bipolar," he fired back.

 

 

"What can I do? I'm awesome," she bragged.

Her whisper is the lucifer...

 

 

He as awaken by the ringing of his phone.

 

 

He looked at his wristwatch and sighed.

 

 

It's barely seven in the morning. He grabbed his phone that is still ringing and looked at the caller ID.

 

 

Cherryplum.

 

 

Why is he not surprised?

 

 

"Hey! Bubblegum! Let's go out!" she said.

 

 

"Mi..." he said but before he continue, she fired back.

 

 

"Hmmm, where I want to go? Let's see... Hmmm.  Anywhere as long as I'm wih you," she said.

 

 

"Okay, okay. I'll go there in an instant," he said, feeling defeated by her sweet words.

Tiffany greeted him with  hug.

 

 

"Good Morning, Sugarbunch," she greeted.

 

 

He smiled. She really have a different endearment whenever they meet.

 

 

 

"Let's go to Jupiter?" he suggested.

 

 

She stared at him. He thought that she didn't believed her.

 

 

"Why there? It's so far! No, no. We can't go there. And we don't have  car," she said as she wiggled her index finger.

 

 

"As I thought, " he replied before tossing his car keys, in which she caught.

 

 

"You have a car?" she asked.

 

 

"What do you think that car keys are for?" he smirked.

 

 

"Great! I wanna drive!" she exclaimed.

 

 

"No, cherryplum, I'll drive. I want to live longer," he teased.

 

 

She pouted her lips and whined, "I wanna drive!"

 

 

He laughed and knelt.

"Hop on," he said and patted his back, "let's just go to Mercury."

 

 

She leaped towards him.

Onew piggybacked Tiffany until they arrived at Mercury, which is just street away from Tiffany's house.

 

 

She gasped.

 

 

Why wouldn't she?

 

 

The place was covered with pastel-colored roses.

 

 

He remembered.

 

 

It was their anniversary, and there she was, sulking, thinking he forgot.

 

 

She once admired the comeback stage of 2 AM. The place looked exactly like that.

 

 

He smiled, "Did you like it?"

 

Actually, the place always looked like that. He have surprise waiting in Jupiter but since she wants to drive-a very dangerous thing to do- he thought of a place nearby.

 

 

She threw her arms around him and cried.

 

 

"I thought you forgot," she said in between sobs.

 

 

He hugged her back, "Why would I forgot a very special day, Cherryplum?"

 

 

He felt her smile.

 

 

Cherryplum,  it was  his endearment to her. He only said it once, during their first day together as a couple.

 

 

He released her from his embrace and knelt down.

 

 

"Tiffany, Hwang Mi young, Cherryplum, do you want to use my surname?" he asked before showing a ring.

 

 

"Definitely, Onew, Lee Jin Ki, Gumdrop," she answered.

 

 

He took her hand and inserted the ring.

 

 

She looked at the ring. It was simple, yet looked elegant.

 

 

He stood up and cupped her face, "You will never regret having the same surname as me."

 

 

He looked at her lovingly. His eyes darted down on her lips and she knew what will happen. She closed her eyes, and slowly his soft lips landed on hers.

They pledged that never will they wear, (be worn out)

Together they'll go everywhere.

And as long as they're together,

Their world will forever be square. (fair and unique)

Isn't it cool that they'll be together, forever?
