L.Joe's POV   I always love driving on an empty road like this... endlessly, going on forever. I never thought I will be accompanied by a fugitive and a clueless kid named Niel, though. I still amazed about how I took his hand that evening. I saw him through the rear mirror. He's looking to the outside and just enjoying the wind. Look at that face, I want to forever, I want to see his annoyed expression all the time...   "Niel... ", I called him. "Hum? what?", said Niel. "Don't sleep this early, you won't be able to sleep at night", I said. "Is the harbor still faraway?", asked Niel. "About 3 hours", said Changjo. "Uhhhm ", Niel moaned and looking at the outside again. "Niel...", I called him again. "What?", said Niel, almost lose his patient. "I love you", I said. "Huh?", said Niel, tried to digest my words. He then chuckles. "Say you love me too, hurry", I said. "Hyung... what's wrong with you?", Niel laughs. "Ah...", I don't know. I don't know what's wrong with me. "I love you, I love you", said Niel casually.   Suddenly I feel so embarrassed and laugh at myself. I just want to joke around but deep down I also need to know that this kid will stay. I'd love to think that I'm not interested in any attachment, but when you like someone, isn't that something inevitable?. Love is something so intense that sometimes I'm afraid of my own feelings.   "How's Area no.6 looks like?", I asked Changjo to distract my own thoughts. "This city reminds me so much of Area no.6 actually, but we do have more tall buildings at the center of the town and people are more cautious about each other. Here people are very casual, aren't they?", said Changjo. "Yeah yeah", I said. "But I guess Area 53 have more dreamers, like, both of you", said Changjo. "Of course... you can't live without dreaming", said Niel. I don't know if he's plain idiot or actually have a pure heart of his own. "I don't know whether I'm a dreamer. Maybe I used to be one, but then everything shattered before I realized it, I decided not to make any more dream. Now I'm thinking that I'm still alive, isn't that good enough?", I said. Both of them just looking at the road, leaving some awkward silence for moments, then Niel grabs my shoulder. "Hyung... don't worry, we'll find it together. You will find your dreams again... Aren't we doing it right now?", said Niel. I smile. See, this is why I'm happy just to be alive. Hopes are reflection of your despair. But then who knows that I will meet this kid, it's such a beautiful accident that become my reality now. "Let's start something new", I said. "Yes! come on", he taps my back, try to give me reinforcement.   Changjo smiles at both of us. He's been eyeing me all this time, I feel uncomfortable. He must be hiding something from us, but I still can't figure out what. We need those money, and he's pretty much unarmed, to think about possibilities, there's no way this circumstance disadvantages us. Even if he called his people at the harbor, it will be too crowded and troublesome for him.   "How long have you known each other?", asked Changjo. "Um... two days?", said Niel. "Hahaha... that short? interesting", said Changjo. "Do we look like we've known each other for years?", I asked. "Of course, I thought you both are childhood friends", said Changjo. "Hmm... no, I hope I had a friend like him when I was a kid though", I said. "Really, hyung? I'm very flattered", said Niel with his stupid grin. "Don't you wish for a hyung like me too?", I asked. "200 dollars! let's buy something luxurious", said Niel.   I pulled over at a diner, so they won't continue their drama plays. "Give him 50, buy us three burgers, Niel", I said. "Aye, boss", Niel got out the car and walk to the diner. Changjo chuckles. I look at him. "You've been eyeing me this whole time. What's the deal?", I asked. "Huh? I like your hair", he said. I scoff. "I've met a lot of erts, I nearly killed one of them, don't ever think about me that way", I said. "Is that why you don't like being touched that much, what happened?", said Changjo, tried to pissed me off. I stay quiet for a moment, gathering my logic. "One of my friends cut their hands in front of my eyes once", I said. "You had been through a lot, huh", said Changjo.
