Chapter 2:

Magical Well I

“Outside world, here I go”

Lu Han was really lucky as he’d been strolling around the garden without being noticed for the past ten minutes.

His hands on his back, he was humming as he intake the short-time freedom he is currently feeling. This would be the only chance he got in his whole lifetime anyways.

Being stuck in his own little world, he didn’t realize he had gone too far the woods, to the forbidden forest to be exact.

Where all the unimaginable, unbearable horror lies; and he was unprepared will all those.

After what feels like an eternity, Lu Han decided to sit down on a huge root of a very old tree which Lu Han finds really creepy. After a short break, he decided to continue his mini-adventure before sneaking back his tower.

He was about to head straight when he heard an old lady’s voice calling for him.

“Young man, what are you doing here?” she asked as soon as Lu Han went near. “I was…uhm… strolling around” he smiled as he offered to take the basket.

“You know it’s not safe especially for some royalty like you” her throaty screech-like laugh creeps Lu Han for some reason but decided to shrug the thought away.

The old lady’s house was creaking due to its old age and rusty exterior; it smelled like something liquid-y inside that Lu Han had never once smelled.

“Do you want something?” she offered, “water would do” he smiled

Now Lu Han might have thought the old woman was nice like the people he only encountered, but she wasn’t, because she was the witch from the East, one of the powerful and scariest too.

Whilst he wasn’t looking, she secretly dipped a red potion hidden under her cloak, mixing it with the water she prepared.

Keeping it tightly, she turned and gave him the ‘water’.

She watched in anticipation as he drank the water till the last drop, waiting for the effect to work.

Smiling in success as she noticed the changes in Lu Han’s vision, he was getting droopy.

“So my child, what is the thing you want most?” she laughed once more

“Freedom…..” he slurred like a drunken man.

“If that’s what you want then follow me” she stood up and he followed suit.

Stopping in front of a well, she pushed the huge rock covering it. She looked at Lu Han and smiled “Do you really want freedom?”

“Yes”

“Then look down this well, what could you see?” he looked down and saw his reflection to the water. “Me”

“Good, now say again what you want”

“I want freedom; I want to be away from constrictions!”

“Good, now look down again and listen to me”he looked and nodded motioning her to continue "I will give five months to find yourself, have your freedom and what you really desire; but if you failed, you shall surrender your life to me, understand" he smiled and followed but instead of seeing his reflection everything went pitch dark to his sight.

"You must find the key to your life"

"Everything would be just as planned" she cackled and head straight the castle.

A very weird and short update to everyone :)

It might seem blur but when the story goes on you’ll realize this will make sense.
