CHAPTER 9

HYUKJAE's POV

I don't want to go.

I don't want to see them together.

But here I am, standing in front of the room where they spend night with each other, cheating at my back.

I hold the doorknob with my shaky hand, took a deep breath before open the door.

A long couch is the first thing I saw when I entered the room.

Are they also did that there?

I clenched my fist in that thought. My eyes noticed a door on my left.

Swallowing my own saliva, I walked towards the door and saw that it was slightly opened.

I sneaked silently so I can't make any sound. My heart fell and crushed into pieces as I saw Donghae lying on the top of her.

"Uhmm... Hae..."

Clenching my fists, I entered the room and burst all of my anger.

"HOW DARE YOU?! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME HUH?!"

I pushed Donghae then grabbed Jessica's hair. I slapped her face repeatedly and didn't stop until I heard her sobbed.

"Now you have guts to cry? How could you do this to me? I trusted you! You !"

"H-Hyukkie?"

I glared to Donghae who's wearing a confusing face while looking at me and I still gripping on Jessica's hair.

How could he act like that? Like he knows nothing.

Donghae's eyes suddenly widen when his eyes switched to Jessica. "J-Jessica? W-What are you doing here?"

I leave Jessica's hair and faced Donghae. "You're asking her why she's here? Let me answer your question, Lee Donghae..."

DONGHAE's POV

Ugh. My head's hurt. Aish. What I have done last night?

A genuine smile formed on my face when I remembered my night... with Hyukjae.

He surprised me here. That would be my prize for doing a great job.

I grinned silently as I hugged Hyukjae on my side but my eyes remains closed. I moved on his top and hugged him even more.

"Uhmm... Hae..."

Eh? Did I heard Jessica's voice?

I was about to open my eyes and look down when someone shouted.

"HOW DARE YOU?! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME HUH?!"

Someone pushed me then the next thing I knew, Hyukjae's slapping someone. I think a girl... she looks familiar. I can't see her face since I'm facing Hyukjae's back.

"Now you have guts to cry? How could you do this to me? I trusted you! You !"

"H-Hyukkie?"

Hyukjae glared at me. Wait, what happened? What did I do?

My eyes widened when I noticed who was the girl. "J-Jessica? W-What are you doing here?" I nervously asked her.

I-Is she ? Her body was covering with white blanket. But... how come? And why Hyukjae hurting her? I don't understand...

I checked myself. I'm also . Don't tell me... no way.

"You're asking her why she's here? Let me answer your question, Lee Donghae..."

Hyukjae slapped my face. I felt my heart stops beating.

I dont know what to do, I dont know what to say. I just stared at Hyukjae with a shocking face.

AUTHOR's POV

"Why, Donghae? Why?" Hyukjae runs his hand through his hair. He closed his eyes to keep him calm.

He never thought that their relationship will end like this.

Hyukjae gave all of him and he thought Donghae would do the same.

But he did not.

Donghae betrayed him. Hyukjae was betrayed by his own love, his own life.

He wanted to cry but there's no tear leaving in his eyes. He's tired to cry, to suffer in this relationship.

He wanted to run again. To escape all the bad memories in his life. But this time, he'll run alone. Lee Donghae will not able to hold his hand and make his life more wonderful for the second time around.

"We're through." Hyukjae said with a finality tone. "I had enough of you."

Without hearing any explanation from Donghae, Hyukjae turned his back and decided to walked away from them... To walked away from Donghae's life.
