  15 years later... (Kim Residence)     In the little town of Mokpo, Kim Donghae celebrated his 16th birthday on October 4 with his family and friends and his mom threw him a birthday party that he will never forget.    His mom was very eccentric and practically wanted to make it a sweet-sixteen party for him to meet new girls. Yes! He knows... It was very contradicting, him a guy and a sweet sixteen party does not mix! But his mom was really persistent. He  tried to stop her the best way he can and persuade her that he was not a girl but a guy for God's sake and sweet sixteen birthday parties were not his thing!   But he did agree for the party to be held at their house inviting his classmates and friends since she sulked for one whole day when he protested. She was giving him the guilty tactic which he cannot say no to. So one night, during dinner, he told his mom that he wants to have the party.   Donghae also didn't want to hurt his parents' feelings by refusing because he loves them too much and would do anything for them as they cared and loved for him all these years. He hasn't got the right to complain of the life his parents gave him. They were the best parents a boy like him could ever have.   He did try to convince his mother and father again for them not to spend so much but it seemed that it was pretty important to them. He had no other choice but to concede. Almost all his classmates were invited and it was a successful event nonetheless. He had a lot of fun! That much was true.    They were not the rich type but just a normal family with two working parents earning their keep and a son that goes to school. Almost perfect right? But the truth always changes things.   Yes. He knew he was not their real son when he asked about it. They told him he was left at their doorstep one snowy night and told him he was a gift from God. He can't help but wonder what his real parents were like.   'Why did they leave me behind? Did they die in an accident or they just didn't want me? Why was I all bloody and wounded when umma found me? Who left me at the doorstep? Lastly, are they still alive?' Those were some of the questions running on his mind continuously when he knew of the truth. It was bugging him but he made it look like he accepted it already. He doesn't want his umma and appa to worry too much.   He was very thankful he was given to a kind family and he will be a good son to them for the rest of his life.   --   *Flashback* (One Year Ago)    (How I pictured Hae)    When Donghae turned 15 years old, he went to a school named SUJU High and he was a first year back then. He took his elementary education there and continued to pursue until high school since it was also the nearest in their town.    He was your typical high school student. A good guy trying to have good grades in school to make his parents happy although he at math but loves English and a little bit of Science. He was almost what you call the nerdy type for he wears eyeglasse but he has friends which likes his personality since he was not too hard to get along with. He was not that cool but he liked to be alone at times and hang-out with his friends after school. Again. You're typical normal guy but some things just can't be helped.   He finished elementary school without difficulty but as always bullies were always present when you enter the first year of high school and he was their constant target aside from the other kids who they like to see suffer as well in school.   He used to think that something was wrong with his face since they always look at him oddly. There was a lightning-shaped scar on the right part of his forehead and he didn't think that is was a problem at all. It was hard to miss though since it was all red but not the typical scar that turns brown or colloidal after a few years.   It just seemed to appear there like it was tattooed on his head and was etched on his skin. He can even feel it heat up sometimes. He thought that maybe more blood just pumps on theat area for that to happen so it throbs like that. It has been happening right after he turned 15 but only ocassionally.   He grew his hair a little longer with bangs and styled it in his liking in order to hide the scar but it was of no use. When the wind blows, it's still visible for everyone to see but he was not too conscious about it. He didn't mind at all but when other people ask him what happened to his head and ask about the scar, he just explains to them that he was in an accident when he was little and that's how he got it and that's what his mom told him too.   Though he felt it itching every now and then, he dismissed the thought as it was winter and his mother did say that it will eventually hurt since the wound was deep and some wounds does not heal fully in the inside. He just nodded in acquiescence to what his umma said and did not tell her about it.   This is where his suffering in began. The bullies at school always and made the first quarter of his life a living hell saying that he didn't look like his parents and he was adopted. They see his mom all the time since she always fetches him after school. Her work place was near and she brings the car. Sometimes it was his father which he also didn't mind.    He didn't tell his parents about them since he wanted to handle it himself and his friends can't be involved or they will suffer their wrath as well. He doesn't want to see them hurt because of him. He would prefer it to be him to get all the teasings instead of them.   The only problem was the bullies didn't stop until they saw the scar and tried to touch it to see it if was just a tattoo to which he got enraged and got pissed off. He was also wearing eyeglasses and the three bullies called him this four-eyed freak guy.    He tried to contain his anger even though he wanted to lunge at the, and attack but he didn't want anything to do with them so he just stayed quiet in his seat. He felt his scar heat again and a splitting headache followed it afterwards.  When the bullies saw this, they left him alone thinking that they made him cry when he suddenly dropped his head on his desk and clenched his fists hard. After a few minutes, the pain disaapeared and he was feeling angry again. He really needed to control his anger.   The emotional stress he was in was beyond the comprehension of a 15-year old boy. Their comments about him being adopted and not his parents biological son has been stuck in his mind eversince.    He tried to asses everything. His grandparents hate him. His cousins hate him. Even their dog hates him to which he ignores completely or else he might just kick the living daylights out it and told his mom to keep it in its cage at all times. His was relieved that his mother listened to him for she saw his distress towards the dog completely barking at him and going crazy when he sees him.    Something was not right with him. That was true enough as they did not even want to be the same room as him sayin
