“Stop, stop, stop! Seunghyun, even if you’re not the lead guitarist, you can’t slack!” exclaimed Jonghoon, “your part is just as important as anyone else’s, people will be able to hear if you make a mistake!”

“Sorry Hyung, I’ll try again,” Seunghyun said apologising sadly.

“Alright, three, two, one!”

It carried on like that for a while, Hongki singing the lyrics as well as he could, Minhwan playing the drums excellently, Jaejin focusing on his bass and Jonghoon and Seunghyun playing their guitars very well but everytime Jonghoon would stop Seunghyun and tell him that he was doing something wrong and they would start again. It wouldn’t be long until someone cracked, you could tell the other members were becoming irritated but who would be the first to speak out? Nobody was sure until…

“He didn’t do anything wrong that time, it was perfect!”

All heads snapped towards the direction the voice came from in disbelief, everyone stared in silence no one had expected the young drummer to be the one to crack.

“I think I would know if he had made a mistake Minhwan, I have been keeping an eye on him all this time.” Jonghoon stated calmly.

“No he didn’t there have been so many times when you told us to stop because of Seunghyun hyung and he didn’t even do anything wrong! All of us have made a mistake at least once!” Minhwan said, his voice becoming louder. “Why didn’t you stop when someone else did?”

“They weren’t as noticeable!”

“Let’s stop arguing at get back to practice please?” Jaejin asked calmly as Hongki stared at the scene in disbelief.

“Yeah, anyway I just need to practice a bit more Minhwan I’m pretty sure I made a mistake if Jonghoon noticed something” Seunghyun told Minhwan with a smile on his face although it was obviously forced.

“But-” began Minhwan.

“It’s alright, don’t worry let’s just do it again,” Seunghyun said assuring him.

“Alright, one more time” Hongki told everyone.

Finally they went through the whole song with no mistakes what so ever, none that were noticed by Jonghoon anyway, he seemed to be in deep thought whilst focusing on playing his guitar.

Once they had completed the song, they began to pack up so they could head back to their dorm. Whilst putting away their guitars, Seunghyun asked Jonghoon a question, “Will you help me improve at the guitar? I really want to improve I’m sick of making mistakes.”

“I don’t see why not, how about we both come here when we don’t have a schedule? Although there is something I need to sort out so I may not be free as much.”

“That’s alright, thank you hyung!” Seunghyun said happily whilst smiling a true smile for the first time that day within that room.

Minhwan couldn’t help but stare at Seunghyun when he smiled like that, he felt it was the most precious thing to see in the world but he couldn’t help but feel jealous at their private lessons, he wished he could play guitar as well as Jonghoon then he could help.

They left the practice room and headed back to their dorm for some time to themselves to relax and have fun and forget about the short argument that day and then hoped to have a well earned rest ready for next day. Nobody noticed the looks Minhwan was shooting at Jonghoon, he didn’t understand how he could calmly be walking next to and talking to Seunghyun after being so harsh to him during today’s practice.
