School just ended but it was pouring heavily outside. However, you wanted to quickly reach home to complete your homework and assignments. Seeing the bus home up ahead, you immediately ran towards it but accidentally slipped on the wet pavement.

“Aish, not at a time like this… Now my whole uniform is wet… 나 어떡해? {Trans: What should I do}” you mumbled, picking yourself up from the ground as you continued chasing after the bus.

Thankfully, the bus driver was kind enough to wait for you and even asked if you were alright, looking at your drenched state. You nodded appreciatively and went to the back to find a seat.

You stared at your bruised elbows and your scraped knees, using a tissue to wipe away the blood trickling from them. “Urgh, if Dongwan-oppa sees this, I’m going to die from his nagging about me being careful again,” you muttered, thinking of how to conceal your injuries.

“아버지, 어머니, 나 왔어요, {Trans: Dad, Mom, I’m back}” you said as you entered the house but as expected, there was no reply. “Aish, they must be busy with work and are not home again,” you thought, before washing up and completing your work.

As you tried to concentrate on your work, you felt nauseous and kept sneezing. “Oh no… I can’t be sick now…” you cried, before curling yourself up in your blankets, shivering from the sudden coldness.

Ring! Ring!

Your phone rang shrilly from your table and you winced as your head started pounding. You ignored the pain from your injured knees as you crawled out from your comfy bed, answering the phone in an annoyed tone, “여보세요? {Trans: Hello}”
