shinhye POV: 

 

"h-h-h-hongki ??" I stutter . 

 

"are you okay ?" he asks in fear . 

 

I can't help but just stay silent and stare . 

 

"are you okay ?!?" he begins to shake me . 

 

"YONGHWA !!!" he screams as he picks me up and runs to yonghwa as we leave guensuk lay drunk on the ground . 

 

"muh, muh muh ?" yonghwa runs up to us . 

 

I can see everything, I can hear everything, why can't I say anything ?

 

"lay her down ." yonghwa picks me up from hongki and lays me onto the couch . 

 

"what happened ?" he asked me . 

 

"she's stunned, yonghwa ." hongki says .

 

"muh ? " yonghwa asks in confusion . 

 

"she was being assaulted by guensuk back there ! does she have any memories with almost being assaulted ?" hongki asks me . 

 

I suddenly remember . 

 

*flashback*

 

"GET AWAY FROM ME !" I screamed at the top of my lungs .

 

"c'mon baby . I wanna show you something."  that man is getting closer and closer to me .

 

yonghwa ... please hurry .

 

"PLEASE I'LL DO ANYTHING ! JUST LEAVE ME ALONE !" I scream .

 

"Heh, no way . you're too gorgeous to slip away" 

 

he smirks .

 

"YONGHWA !!! MIN HYUK !!!! ANYBODY !!" I start to cry and let his grasp let go of my wrist .

 

*end of flashback*

 

"well ? " hongki asks . 

 

"she once-" I grab yonghwa's wrist lightly, hoping he won't tell the story . 

 

"that doesn't matter now . I'll take her home and we'll be back tomorrow . you go get guensuk and we'll see you tomorrow ." he looks at me with teary eyes . 

 

"it'll wear off a bit soon and she'll be able to talk soon ." hongki tries to convince us to stay a bit longer . 

 

"that's fine ." he carries me to the car . 

 

as he sits me down, we sit for a while until I finally say a word . 

 

yonghwa POV: 

 

I couldn't protect her .. 

 

instead of me, hongki saved her . 

 

WHATS WRONG WITH ME ?!?!

 

"y-y-yonghwa ." she says . 

 

I still choose not to believe it . 

 

I start the car and begin driving . 

 

"y-y-yonghwa ah ." she slowly moves her hand to mine . 

 

I quickly shake it off . 

 

"I couldn't protect you ." I mutter under my breath . 

 

she looks at me, not understanding what I just said . 

 

"I COULDN'T PROTECT YOU !" I scream . 

 

she stares in fear at my sudden outburst . 

 

"do you know how much it HURTS to know that I couldn't protect the girl I love ?!" I scream again . 

 

"y-y-you l-love me ?" she says in tears . 

 

"yeah .. I love you ." I cool down, remembering what she just went through . 

 

I hear her mutter something I can't hear . 

 

"muh ?" I ask as I drive . 

 

"I love you too ."

anneyoung chingu yah ! most of you guys were expecting yonghwa so i apologize but someone requested to be more friendship in YAB and not just yongshin love so I wanted hongki to save the day . sorry if I upset you but I made it up to you with the whole "I love you " scene, eh ? eh ?
