shinhye POV: 

 

"m-m-minhyuk . " i am in shock 

 

"how . dare . you ." he stretches out . 

 

I reach for yonghwa's hands as I see they are already held out for me to grab but as soon as I do, minhyuk charges in and grabs my hands . 

 

I'm terrified and I feel yonghwa standing right behind minhyuk just in case something happens . 

 

"m-m-minhyu-" 

 

"save it" he spits . 

 

"I'm the one that gave you 500 dollars to shop, I'm the one that was worried sick when you ran away, but you choose yonghwa ? why ? he has enough girls chasing after him ?! he doesn't need another one ! so just be with me .. " he shakes my hands in fear of rejection in his eyes .

 

"I'm sorry .." I slip out of his hands and look away . 

 

he stares at me in tears and runs out the house . 

 

I stay silent and stare, thinking about what just happened . 

 

I feel a hand wrap around my shoulders . 

 

"shinhye, it's okay . he'll cool off . but he did look pretty upset . so, you still haven't given me that answer yet ." he spins me around . 

 

"Yong-yonghwa .." I stutter . 

 

we stare into each others eyes . 

 

"I like you . yes, maybe a little, but I think for now, it's best that we stay friends .. until minhyuk cools down and I can just manage my whole life .. im sorry ." I say in tears . 

 

I see tears start to slowly and lightly drizzle down his cheeks . 

 

he still grips my hand but tighter . 

 

"I .. understand ." he barely says . 

 

he lets go of my hands and leaves the room . 

 

i stand still for a few moments and grab my cell phone . 

 

dialing ... 

 

beep beep . 

 

"hello ?" 

 

"hey, jonghyun ... I've decided to go home .. come pick me up in 3 days ." I say in tears . 

 

"really ? that's great . see you in 3 days !" he hangs up in excitement .

 

I also walk out of the house and walk around the woods crying and letting it all out . 

 

yonghwa POV: 

 

shinhye .. why did you reject me ? is it because of what minhyuk said ? you're different from the other girls, you're .. special . you have this special spark in your eyes when something exciting happens .. and your nose does that really cute twitch when you're crying .. and you make my heart to summersaults .. and my stomach .. I don't want us to be just friends .. but, minhyuk and I have been best friends forever .. I can't just do that to him .. I must let you go .. for now .  

 

I walk back inside to see minhyuk acting as if nothing happened . 

 

"oh, minhyuk ." I say surprised . 

 

"listen, oppa .." he starts .

 

"minhyuk, you're 17 .. you really need to call me hyung now .. c'mon say it, hyung ." I say to lighten the mood . 

 

"fine, hyung .. I'm sorry I overreacted .. I just like shinhye a lot .. but as I was thinking, I guess I was just alone and she was the first girl in a long time I've gotten close with .. I guess I just wanted puppy love . I will let you have her . I'm sorry, shinhye must be so happy to be with you though ." he says 

 

"actually .. she rejected me too ." I say sadly . 

 

"what ? why ? " he says disappointed . 

 

"she didn't think it was the right time .. I mean, with you just waking away and her family missing her .. I agreed but I also was upset ." I say . 

 

"well, we should go tell her I'm okay now ! she's in your room . " he says getting up . 

 

when we walk into the room, we see shinhye packing he clothes while crying softly . 

 

"shinhye ?" we both ask .

 

shinhye POV: 

 

I suddenly start to break into tears . 

 

I fall to the ground but luckily, yonghwa catches me . 

 

"what's wrong ? why are you packing ?" they both ask . 

 

"I-I-I- .." I say, trying to stop my tears . 

 

"first, I just wanted to tell you that I'm okay now . I'm sorry for just exploding like that unni- I mean, noona ." minhyuk says . 

 

minhyuk winks at yonghwa . 

 

I start to lightly giggle as minhyuk tries to break his habit of calling me unni . 

 

"what's wrong ? why are you packing all of a sudden ?" yonghwa asks again . 

 

my tears are all gone . 

 

"I'm going back home . " I say slowly . 

 

"what ? why ?" minhyuk asks in sadness 

 

I catch yonghwa looking at me, knowing that our relationship is the reason . 

 

"it's the right thing to do ." I lie, breaking stare from yonghwa . 

 

"when are you leaving ?" yonghwa says deeply looking away from me . 

 

"3 days ." I say sadly . 

 

"unn- noona, PLEASEEEEE DONT GO !" minhyuk begs . 

 

"we have 3 days minhyuk . don't worry, I'll never forget you . " I say patting his bushy hair . 

 

I notice yonghwa still looking down but I can hear him lightly sniffing . 

 

"that's great ." yonghwa says standing up, wiping his tears . he walks out of the room . 

 

"noona, don't worry about him . lets go do something fun !" he says in delight . 

 

I simply nod and hide my sadness as he takes me to the movies . 

 

yonghwa POV: 

 

she's leaving because of us .. well, me and shinhye .. not minhyuk .. right ? ugh I'm so confused . shinhye, we're right for each other !
