*3 days later* 

 

shinhye POV: 

 

I sit on the couch with minhyuk and yonghwa shaking as they hear a knock on the door . I'm still avoiding any talk with yonghwa and he doesn't seem to notice . minhyuk has been my best friend the past 3 days and I told him everything .. I told him about why I really rejected yonghwa ... because after I left subin's house, she texted me this :

 

"leave yonghwa alone or you WILL regret it ." 

 

I told minhyuk and he promised to not tell yonghwa . thank you minhyuk . 

 

I answer the door to see jonghyun waiting . 

 

"oh, hi jonghyun ." I say looking down . 

 

"c'mon, lets go ." he says staring at yonghwa and minhyuk while grabbing my hands and grabbing my bags . 

 

"hold on for just a second ." I stop him . 

 

I walk to minhyuk and hug him for a long time . 

 

"thank you . you're truly the best friend ever . " I whisper into his ear . 

 

he smiles and starts to cry as we let go from our hug . 

 

I walk up to yonghwa slowly . 

 

I am very careful and go in for a friendly handshake . he stares at my hand and grabs me to hug me . 

 

I start to cry .. 

hard . 

 

but I try to hide it so he doesn't keep any feelings for me . 

 

"be safe, shinhye . I'm always here ." he whispers to my ear . 

 

I begin to smile . 

 

I hear jonghyun cough impatiently . 

 

I let to of the hug while wiping my tears . 

 

"thank you guys .. for everything ." I say while holding out ₩10,000 in my hands . 

 

"shi-shinhye shi ." yonghwa stutters . 

 

"take it ." I open his hands and place the money there .

 

I bow out and walk into jonghyun's car . 

 

yonghwa POV : 

 

shinhye .. shinhye shi .. I really miss you .. I run out to the woods to cry, leaving minhyuk in his room to sob for a while . 

 

"ho-how could I le-let you go .." I softly say . 

 

I walk back into the home with no more tears to shed to see minhyuk crying on the couch . 

 

"hy-hyung ." he says trying to stop crying . 

 

"it's ok .." I say, patting his shoulders .

 

shinhye POV: 

 

"I'm glad you wanted to go back . so, lets talk about us .." jonghyun starts talking but I ignore him and just think about yonghwa .. and subin .. subin is scary and I can't trust her . 

 

I look out the window when I see a cloud that looks exactly like yonghwa . 

 

"yonghwa ?" I question . 

 

"muh ?" jonghyun questions . 

 

I shake my head to just see the cloud as a big blob ." 

 

"nothing .." I say looking down . 

 

yonghwa .. goodbye .
