Haley's POV: I walked into homeroom and sighed heavily. Instead of having homeroom in the morning, it's my last class of the day. Our homeroom is our language arts teacher. I rested my hand on the gold doornob and turned it slowly. As usual, students were huddled around Yejun's and the other boys desk. "Happy birthday Yejun!" A girl squealed before fixing her long golden blonde hair. Yejun chuckled and rested his chin on his knuckles. "Thank you. What's your name again?" He asked tilting his head slightly. "Leah." She said flipping her blonde bangs. I akwardly shuffled around the huge group of giggling girls and sat in my brown desk. "Haley!" Yejun said looking at me excitedly. I looked at him and felt a automatic smile spread across my lips. "Yeah?" I asked resting my arms on my brown desk. "It's my birthday today!" He said puffing out his pale cheeks. I leaned over my desk and pinched them hard, making them turn red. He squealed in pain and I couldn't help but laugh. He flapped his arms like a little girl while looking away. I did it to, and screamed in pain as his hand slapped my arm hard. "You guys are cute." The girl Leah said smiling at us her green eyes bright. "Oh, were not dating." I said automatically stopping. Yejun glanced at me and something like longing glowed in his blue bright eyes. "Really? But how can you resist someone so cute?" She asked blushing heavily at Yejun. I groaned.  

                 "Why thank you." Yejun said flicking his wrist like Key always does after a compliment. I gasped as Leah jumped on my desk, blocking my view of Yejun and the other boys. I stood up and glared annoyedly at her. "Sorry." She said snobbly tilting her head, her blonde hair falling to the side. I stood up and ignored Yejun's protest. I don't want to interrupt his conversation with repunzel. "Someone seems mad." Mika said leaning against as desk as he stood beside me. I looked away with my bottom lip pouted out. "He's to busy talking to that girl." I said pointing to the girl annoyedly. "It's not nice to point." Key said resting his arm on mine, making it lower. He was all smile as he talked to her excitedly. "Are you jealous?" Jay asked his face inches away from mine. I jumped and felt my face turn bright red as they all stared at me. I squealed in pain as Key slapped his hands on my cheeks making me do a fishy face. "You like him, don't you?" He asked staring at me wide eyed. "No...He's a friend." I said struggling to get out of his tight grip. Key frowned and let go of my face, making me stumble back. Yejun skipped up with Leah by his side. "Everyone, this is my friend Leah." He said holding his hands out in front of her like you would present a trophie. We all waved politely and I put on a fake smile. "Oh wow, Key!" She said doing a face palm as she stared at my brother who was looking at his perfect nails. 

                  He smiled brightly and flipped his black bangs. As they all started talking, I turned around and walked away and sat on a brown desk in the front of the room. "Are you ok?" A deep quiet and soft spoken voice said. J-Hope was sitting in the desk beside me. I blinked and struggled not to look deep in his dark brown eyes that seemed very deep and controling. "Yeah, just...Bored." I said softly. I struggled to act casual as I kicked my feet in and out, and listening to the loud thud as they hit the desk. "Are you going to the surprise party were throwing for Yejun's birthday?" He asked resting his head against his hand. "Sure." I said happily. "It's at the park." He said narrowing his brown eyes as if he was trying to read my mind. "Your  upset that he's talking to another. It seems like your not exactly jealous, but very worried that something will happen to him...And your friendship will be gone." He said gentle. How'd..He know? I stared at him wide eyed, and mouth hanging open. He grinned triumphantly, as he realized that he guessed right. "It's true. What if he stops being my friend?" I asked softly. I looked down at white and uniform and struggled to put on a smile. I feel like a awful friend, just thinking like this. I looked up and frowned even more. "She can sit here." Yejun said patting my seat beside him. Hey! I sit there! "Are you sure?" She asked softly. I gasped. 

                         Even J-Hope seemed surprised that he did that. Leah smiled brightly and he green eyes seemed to see my annoyance. I jumped as Jonghyun sat on my other side. "Aren't you going to say anything to her?" He asked his voice concerned. "No." I sighed looking down at my brown desk. I struggled to block them out as they all goofed off in the back. I rested my head against my hand and gulped and struggled to pay attention to the teacher. "Choose your partners." The teacher said tapping the ruler in her hand. I looked back at Yejun and pointed to me then to him. He stared at me and blinked once. I looked down and sighed heavily as I realized his hand was on hers. He used to do that to me, showing that we were partners. "Hey, no. I'm going to be her partner." Mika said walking towards me. I smiled as he knealt down in front of my new desk. "Why aren't you paired up with Yejun?" He said tilting his head at me curiously. "He's paired up with Leah." I said rolling my eyes after I said her name. He chuckled and messed up my straight black hair. "She won't ruin your guys friendship." He said his blue eyes warm and understanding. I felt a smile form across my lips and I rested my hand on his without thinking. His pale cheeks turned slightly red and I giggled. "What? You can do it to me to." I said cheerfully. Haley! He isn't Yejun! Oh god...He's probably feeling super akward. He rested his hand on mine and I felt my face turn three shades of red when he locked his hands with mine. "Like this?" He asked. 

                                   J-Hope's POV: I grinned as I glanced at them quickly. "Yeah.." Haley said softly. The teacher walked around and put the papers down on our desk and I sighed heavily. "J-Hope, want to be partners?" Suga asked sitting beside me. I smiled and nodded. His gaze slid behind me and he went wide eyed as he stared at Haley and Mika. "Are they dating?" He whispered struggling to keep his voice low. I shook my head and stared at him like he was weird. His light green eyes filled with relief and I stared at him suspicously. "Do you like her?" I whispered. He stared at me and his cheeks turned three shades of red. "N-No...Maybe." He said akwardly looked around. I kind of figured... I glanced over my shoulder at the others. Pratically off of my friends were surrounded around Leah and were staring at her in awe. "Hang on, I'll be right back." I said standing up slowly. Suga stared at me curiously but didn't try and stop me. I walked towards them and put on a tiny smile. Leah looked up from her paper and went wide eyed as she aw me. "Who are you?" She asked her green eyes wide. "Hey, J-Hope!" Yejun said smiling and waving at me. I did the head 'sup' thing and looked at Leah. "J-Hope? Awesome name." She said giving a girl giggle and her blonde hair behind her ear. "Are you and Yejun dating or something?" I asked straight forewordly. She stared at me and blushed heavily. "No, were not. But....Your single right?" She asked batting her eyelashes at me. I made a face in disguist and looked away. Ew. 

                               Yejun looked around me and sadness glowed in his blue eyes. "Is Haley working alone?" He asked regretfully. Leah glanced at him quickly with anger and jealousy in her green eyes. "No, she was but...But Mika came up and now there working together." I said crossing my arms. I'm surprised that Yejun would choose this Leah girl over her. She seemed pretty upset about that. Does she like Yejun? "Maybe I should work with her...." He said staring at me with worry in his eyes. "What do you think Mika will do? her?" I asked tilting my head curiously. The others laughed and he shook his head. "What if she starts hanging out with him instead of me?" He asked going wide eyed. That's kind of his fault if she does. "But, your my partner. You don't need her." Leah said sharply. Yejun stared at her quickly his blue eyes wide at how angry she sounded. "Ok, class. Have a good day." Our homeroom teacher said as the bell rang loudly. All of our classmates stood up and walked out of the homeroom quickly. Haley was already walking with her brother down the hallway, leaving all of us behind. Yejun gentle pushed his way past Leah and struggled to catch up with Haley through the swarm of people. "Haley!" He called out, making her look over her shoulder. I sped up and walked on her other side. "Hey." She said sounding a little less irratated. I smiled.

                    "Yejun!" A voice called out from behind us. We all back to see Leah running towards us at full speed. She collided into Yejun and hugged him tightly. He looked down at her with confusion and akwardness in his blue eyes. Yejun slipped out of her grip and walked beside Haley. He wrapped his arm around her shoulder and a tiny smile spread across her lips. "Are you mad at me princess?" He asked making Leah cross her arms. "She's such a brat." She said through clenched teeth. I looked at her and she jumped with surprise as she saw me walking beside her. "Who?" I asked pretending like I didn't hear her. "What? She is! Steal Yejun from me..." She said annoyedly. I glared heavily at her before walking ahead. We all slipped between the buses and we all climbed onto our quiet bus. "Sit beside me!" Yejun said grabbed her hand and pulling her in same seat as him. We all sat down in the usual spots in the back. Leah stopped and looked down at Yejun and Haley. "Can I sit with him?" She asked her voice giving nothing away. "Haley is sitting with me." Yejun said hugging Haley's head. Leah stomped her foot and glared heavily at her. "Yejun, your coming to my house." Mika said to Yejun who was slowly closer towards Haley. "Why?" He asked sounding suddenly excited. "So we can hang out and stuff." Mika said with a smile. "Wow, what?" Key asked. 

                    "Are you two doing stuff together?" He asked snapping his fingers like a girl. Mika couldn't help but laugh. "No, Diva. Were just going to hang out." He said going wide eyed as if he was trying to hint something. Key made a 'o' shape and nodded and gave a thumbs up. "I got you." He said making me sigh. Obivous much? We all lunged foreword and we all grunted loudly. "Here's your guys stop." The old bus driver said looking in the rerview mirror at us. We all stood up and climbed off the bus. Now I have to walk down towards the park. We all went seperated ways, except me and Suga. We all live down the road from each other, but I guess everyone is always busy. "We better walk down there, and get everything ready." He said puting on his black DC hat. I nodded and we turned around and walked in the direction the park was. "I don't feel like being fussed over by my mom." I said as we walked. I sheilded my eyes from the bright sunlight. Our footsteps echoed around us and I sighed heavily. "Text the others and tell them to meet us here in ten minutes." I said sitting on the abandoned picnic table that was starting to rot. I grabbed a blue balloon and blue into it while looking at the patches of sunlight. Happy b day..

                                     Haley's POV: "Ok, I'm ready." I said walking inside the house. I was holding a blue birthday bag in my hand and I couldn't hide the smile on my face. Even though I don't really know what he wanted....I tried and buyed something that he would like. Key walked down the staires, and he had a chocolate cake in his hand. "I made it myself." He said giving me a bright smile. "Ok, let's go." I said walking towards the front door. We both walked outside and the bright pink sunset was setting behind the trees. If you listened closely, you could hear the music from the surprise party. "What did you buy him?" Key asked as he held the cake tight against his chest. "It's a surprise." I said unable to hide my smile. The orange streets shined down on us making our shadows loom on the ground. We finally arrived and I was surprised at how many people showed up. Balloons were tied up to the trees and speakers were lined further away. "Wow, It looks really pretty." I said cheerfully. I sat down my present carefully and Key sat down the cake beside it. "Cakes here!" Key declared over the music. "Oh hey Haley." Suga said running up to me. I smiled and he flashed a bright smile back at me. "What did you get him?" He asked slowly opening up the bag. "No! It's surprise." I saod gentle slapping his hand, making him close the bag. "I bet it's really cool." He said excitedly. 

                     "Hey guys. Sorry I'm late."  A voice said from behind us. I grinnded my teeth together and looked at the person who talked. Leah smiled and she was carrying a huge big white bag and it looked super heavy. She glared heavily at me and gentle nudged me to the side and sat her huge bag down. Everyone cheerfully said her name and a second she was surrounded by people. I walked towards my bag again and rummaged through my blue bag. There was a black DC hat, and beside it was a Iphone. Were is it? Panic roase in me and I sighed and pulled out a necklace. It had a silver cross on it and there was a black leather thread on it, but beside the cross had wooden angel wings with a Y carved in it. "Wow, did you make that?" Mika's voice from behidn me made me jump. I squealed and hid the necklace behind my back. "Yeah. B-But it's nothing." I said feeling my face turn three shades of red. "Yeah that is. I know he'll love it." Mika said flashing me a tiny smile. I squeezed the necklace tightly and wrapped my arms around Mika. "Thanks for making me feel better, Mika. Your  a good friend." I said hugging him tightly. He hugged me back and he rested his head on my shoulder. "Anything for you, my angel." He whispered in my ear. We pulled apart and I felt my face still stay beat red. "Here he comes!" Mika said suddenly making everything go dead.

                      "Mika...Why do you have me carrying all the stuff down here?" Yejun said his voice sounding very irratated. He had his hands full of bags and stumbled as he tried to keep his balance. "Surprise!" We all shouted making him scream and drop the stuff. He covered his face and slowly opened one blue eye. "Happy birthday!" I yelled throwing my hands up in the air. He smiled and he covered his mouth and tears formed in his blue eyes. "Happy birthday, bro." Jun said patting his back. The music started playing again, and people surrounded him a second later. "Presents!" Leah said clapping her hands excitedly. They all huddled around the picnic table that was covered in bags. "Thanks guys." Yejun said his voice filled with emotion. "Mine first." Leah said purposely standing in front of me. "Ok." Yejun said trying not to laugh at her. He grabbed the big white bag and sat it on his lap. He went wide eyed and pulled out a necklace that had a leather cord and there was a cross made of wood with his name in it and the outline was made of gold. "Wow, you made this?" He asked looking up at Leah she giggled and looked in my direction. "Yeah, that's what best friends are for." She said micheviously. I held my necklace tightly in my fist and I looked down. Of course, she has to out do me. "That's not all." She said pulling something out of her pocket. Silver car keys dangled from her hand, and near by a car honked. "Y-You bought me a car?" He asked going wide eyed. She giggled and nodded. I sighed heavily. 

                              I walked away from the others and sat on a fallen tree that layed horizontally. I heard the others surprised gasps as he continued to open up the presents. I rested my elbows on my knees and looked at the dark green grass. "Last present." Yejun said sounding very happy. Did he open mine yet? I stood up and peaked my head in the direction they were. I felt nervousness surge through me as Yejun opened up my bag. The white Iphone glittered in the setting sun. "Dang! She should have bought me one!" Key said puting his hands on his hips. Yejun looked around and sadness and disappointment clouded his face. "Where'd she go?" He asked softly. Everyone fell silent and I jogged up towards them. "Sorry, I dropped something." I said apologetically. Yejun smiled even bigger and put his hat on. "Thanks, princess." He said holding his arms open for a hug. I hugged him and I blushed at how tight he was holding me. "Let's party!" Key said cranking up the radio. "Let's dance!" Leah said grabbing his hand, pulling him away from me. He glanced over his shoulder at me regretfully as they ran into the crowd. I sighed and sat on the seat of the picnic table. I watched the other dance to music that seemed to mute everything around me. "Are you ok?" Key asked walking towards me. He sat beside me and I nodded slowly. "What's that?" He asked interestedly.

                             Key's POV: She better not tell me that nothing's bothering her...Because I know there is something bothering her. I looked at the necklace that was holding tightly. I squinted and I could see letters carved in the smooth and waxed wood. Y? Yejun! Was this for him? "Aren't you going to give that to him?" I asked shockedly. She looked down at it and shook her head in disappointment. "No, Leah already made him one like this." She said softly. Is she jealous? "That doesn't matter. Your way closer to him then she is. He'd want it." I said resting my hand on her shoulder. She's way closer to him...I think he really likes her. "But it's nothing compared to hers." She said sadly. I snapped my fingers making her look at me. "She made it to impress him, You made this for him to show that you care." I said happily. Good job Key, nice words. She looked at Yejun who didn't seem so thrilled dancing with her. I stood up and walked through the crowd. "Yejun!" I said over the music. He looked around as if he heard his name being called. I beckoned him over and he smiled. "Yeah?" He said as I grabbed his sleeve and tugging him away from the music. "Wait here while I get Haley." I said holding my finger up before jogging towards  her. "Come here." I said ignoring her protest. "Don't talk to your mother like that." I said stubbornly. I went wide eyed and stopped dead. Yejun was wide eyed and Leah had ahold of the front of his jacket and her lips were pressed firmly against his. Haley gasped and pain and sadness was in her face. 

                    "What are you doing?!" I said throwing my hands up in the air. Leah pulled away and held Yejun's hand. "Sorry, he doesn't want anything to do with you." She snickered. Yejun went wide eyed and stared at Leah in dumbfounded shock. Tears formed in Haley's eyes and she stomped off. I jogged after her and she wiped her tears away and she looked at her wet tears. "I don't even know why I'm crying..." She said her voice cracking. I can't believe they were kissing. "Haley!" Yejun yelled running towards us. I stood in front of him and narrowed my eyes. "Leave her alone." I said seriously.He stared at me and fusteration formed in his blue eyes. "I-I didn't want to kiss her." He said apologetically. Haley glared at him and dropped the necklace she made. "Here, take it." She said her voice filled with sadness. "Come on baby." Leah said behind him. Yejun ignored her and picked up the necklace. He it softly and sighed heavily and clenched it tightly. "I don't like you. Leave me alone!" He said turning around quickly and glaring heavily at Leah. Leah stared at him in surprise and tears started to form in her eyes. "Why can't I be your princess?" She yelled stomping her foot. Yejun glared at her and broke the necklace of his neck and dropped it at her feet. "I already have my princess." He said walking past me and towards Haley. Haley sniffled and looked at him slowly. 

                              He wrapped his arms around her and hugged her tightly. Haley looked at him and her eyes softened. "Please don't cry. I don't want to see you sad." He said gentle. She closed her eyes and hugged him back tightly. "Mission accomplished." I said clapping my hands. The others walked over and Mika raised a eyebrow. "I thought she was going to ruin or friendship." Haley said looking at Yejun. He couldn't help but laugh at her and he wiped away her tears. "No way. Your like my best friend." He said messing up her black hair. "She was totally jealous." J-Hope said standing further away. Everyone 'oohed.' and her face turned three shades of red. "No!" She squealed annoyedly. "It's ok. I know she likes me." He said gentle nudging her. She glared heavily at him and grunted in annoyance. "I do not!" She said annoyedly. Yejun stuck his tongue out at her and she did it back. I rubbed my temples as they started to argue like little kids. Around his neck, was her necklace. "Come on, give my a kiss." Yejun said making a kissy face at her. She glared at him and put her hands on his face and shoved him back gentle making him stumble back. She giggled at him and I smiled. I just want to make sure she's happy. "She'll be fine Key." J-Hope said gentle patting my back. I sighed and looked at him and saw calm understanding in his light brown eyes. "I know."
