Haley's POV: "Class! Calm down!" The homeroom teacher said slamming her hands down on her fancy wooden desk. I screamed in surprise and stopped talking to Yejun and the others instantly. The other students mumbled softly to themselves as they slowly sat down in their desk once more. I looked at Yejun who was tapping my desk after he sat down a white piece of paper on my desk. What's that? I opened it and sighed heavily. 'Hi my princess.' It said in fancy letters. I gave him a 'really.' look. He smiled innocently and flipped his black bangs. "Now, as you all know, it's the time of month when we have to choose a topic." The young teacher said looking at us curiously. Topic? Students around us were chatting excitedly. "Already?" Mika asked on my other side. "What is it?" I asked softly. He stared at me and smiled politely. "Our class has to choose a topic and the schools uses it as a fun activity." He explained micheviousness glowing in his blue eyes. "Yeah! And we get to choose our own teams to." He said grabbing my hand and holding our hands over our heads. "I found my team." Yejun said smiling hugely. I groaned and sighed heavily. I really want to be on a team were we would actually win. "There's supposed to be four people on the team." Jay said crossing his arms and flipping his bright red hair. I huffed as Yejun pushed me into his arms. He hugged my head tightly and narrowed his blue eyes. "Well it can be me and Haley only." He said stubbornly. I love Yejun....But I swear. "I didn't exactly agree to be on your team..." I said my voice muffled. 

                      "Who's team did you want to be on?" Yejun asked pulling me away from him. I stared at him and gave a shaky laugh. "Jonghyun, Key's and Mika's team..." I said slowly. Maybe I should be on his team...I'd feel bad. Yejun really did look disappointed. He turned his back on me and dramatically walked off and sat in the back of the classroom. "Such a drama queen." Jesse said walking up to my side. I couldn't help but laugh and she smiled warmly on me. "Maybe I should go and apologize." I said walking towards Yejun. He had his face buried in his arms and I knealt down on the left side of the desk. "Can I be on your team?" I asked softly. He slowly lifted his head up and gave me a half smile. "Sure, I forgive you princess." He said his blue eyes lighting up again. I looked over as a boy dark blue hair and light brown eyes walked towards us. I felt my heart race and my eyes went wide. "Zelo, this is my friend Haley." Yejun said sitting straight up and pointing at me. Zelo gave a smug smile and dipped his head. "What's up?" He asked coolly making my pale cheeks turn bright red. Yejun tilted his head curiously at me and I gave him a warning look. "If you guys don't mind, my friend Sungjae wants to be in our group." Zelo said giving a bright smile. A second boy poked his head around Zelo. He had black flippy hair and a charming face and light blue eyes. "Hey guys." Key greeted happily.

         At his side was Mika, Jay and Jun. "Oh hey Zelo, where have you been?" Jay asked locking hands and shoulder bumping Zelo. Key looked up quickly and went wide eyed. His jaw dropped and he stared at me and winked. Shut up Key...I clamped my mouth shut tightly and forced myself not to yell at him. "Are you nervous?" Zelo asked looking down at me. I looked up and felt the familiar heat of my face turning red. "Y-Yeah...Kind of. Are you?" I forced myself to ask calmly. He chuckled and shrugged. "I'll protect you, princess." Yejun said wrapping his arm around my shoulder. Zelo raised a eyebrow and amusement clouded his face. "Are you two dating?" He asked his gaze flickering from me then to Yejun. "No, were just friends." I said softly. I looked at Yejun and was suprised to see him glaring heavily at Zelo. I squrimed uneasily between them and sighed heavily. After the teacher was done marking the group as she walked around the clustered room she sighed and wiped her forehead. "Ok, I'll give the signal for the princaple to turn out the lights." She said walking towards the door. The groups talked quietly to each other and I sighed. "Hopefully we don't loose." I said hoping that my group didn't hear. "Me too, apparantly the punishment for loosing is a surprise." Yejun said standing up and stretching. I was shocked at how serious he was. "We'll win." Zelo's friend said determinadly. A couple moments later, the entercom came on. "The scare contest will now start shortly. Be careful, and remember, play fair." The princable said in a sing song voice. "Maybe we should hold hands so we don't get seperated." Key said doubtfully to his group. The others nodded. 

                         "I agree with your brother." Zelo said reaching for my hand. I gulped nervously and akwardly looked away. I can't believe of all people....He has to be on my team. Yejun glanced at us and something flashed in his blue eyes. "Haley, can I talk to you?" Yejun said as he stood in front of me. I nodded and we both walked past the groups and into the hallway. "Do you like Zelo?" He asked staring me dead in the eyes. I slowly nodded my  head and fidgeted uneasily as he stared at me. "Why?" I asked seeing his unhidable shock. He shook his head making his black flippy hair fall in his face. "I just don't like him." He said softly. But he seemed fine around him... "Why?" I asked not to urgently. He sighed and leaned against the bright red lockers. I stood beside him and looked at him worriedly. "He's friends with my older brother, Jake. They both are jerks around me and my friends." He said softly. Zelo is? I looked down at the white tile floor and struggled to take all of this in. "I'm not saying that you have to stop liking him. I...I just don't want him to upset you." He said resting his hands on my shoulders. I smiled and hugged him tightly. I closed my eyes and still felt my smile across my face. "I had a feeling you liked him. So I asked him to come over and be in our group. I knew it'd make you happy." He said making me laugh. "They weren't lying when they said you were a good friend." I said hugging him tighter. I blushed heavily as I felt his warm breath on my neck. "It's ok princess. If it'd make you happy." He said in my ear. 

                               Jun's POV: "Wow!" I shouted making the others jump. The homeroom light went dark and all the girls screamed loudly, inclouding Key. "They should have given is a warning." He said placing his hand over his heart as if it was racing like crazy. "They did." Jay said after a moment of silence. "Well aren't you smart." Key sassed snapping his fingers. "Guys, we need to find a flash light." Mika said standing between the two arguing divas. "Have you guys seen Yejun or Haley?" Sungjae asked his voice sounding super close. Key gasped loudly and I could only imagine his shocked and unbelieving face. "He might be off making out with her somewhere." Jay commented quietly. I doubt it...They seemed all for it, to win this contest. "Well, were sticking with you guys until we find them." Zelo said and I could smell the strong smell of his axe as he stood beside me. "Oh no. That's cheating." Key said bumping into me, making Zelo and Sungjae stumble. Of all people, I'm stuck with them. "Well it's uneven if they have no people to go with." I objetced cutting off Key who was about to sass them. We all stuck together as we walked out of the class room. "I'm scared." Jay said grabbing the back of my school uniform. Our heavy footsteps echoed off the empty pitch black hallway. It's crazy that at the end of the day we all agreed to stay after school. 

                 It's usually like this every year. But it was never so late... No wonder everyone agreed to do a scare contest. "Why don't we forefit?" Key asked his face inches away from mine as he huddled close to me. "I'm not getting a punishment." I replied sharply. We all were quiet and the last ray of the sun vanished and it seemed to get darker then before. I sushed them suddenly and felt my heart pound in my chest. "What?" Jay squeaked squeezing the back of my shirt tighter. "I think I heard something...." I said softly. We all stood in the middle of the hallway and they all let out quiet mumbles. "We got to keep going." Zelo said desperately. I shuffled my feet slowly not even picking them off the ground. "Did you grab my ?" Mika asked Key sharply. Key fell silent and he gave a silent chuckle. I jumped in surprise as I felt somebody touch my arm. "Key stop." I said shakily. Trying to scare the crap out of us. "What? I didn't do anything that time." He said annoyedly. I went wide eyed and I bolted down the hallway. I blindly put my feet in front of the other and tried my hardest not to scream or yell. The others stumbled over each other and screamed my name. "Come on!" I yelled over my shoulder. I screamed loudly. 

                             My foot slid out from underneath me and I landed on the ground with a loud thud. I groaned in pain and it seemed to surge throughout my body. I looked over my shoulder wide eyed as the others ran towards us. "Jun?" Jay asked loudly before slipping on the same thing I did. He landed loudly beside me. "Hey..." I groaned making him chuckle. I used my hands to get up shakily but collasped back on the ground and Key sighed heavily as he layed across my back. "Key....Get off." I said in pain. He fidgeted and refused to get up. "No, I'm exhausted." He said before going into a enourmous yawn. I laughed and slid out from underneath him and stood up. We all continued to walk and I stopped suddenly as I heard the rapid footsteps of people running. "We need to scare them!" I whispered to the others, pressed myself against the white wall. I peaked my head around the corner for a split second. The footsteps got closer and I screamed loudly. In reply, they screamed back and one of them lost their footing and hit the ground hard. "Onew! Are you ok?" The familiar voice of Jonghyun asked. Onew groaned and the rested of SHINee helped him stand up. "Yes, I'm fine. But I dropped my chicken leg." He said sadly. I couldn't help but laugh but his serious glare shut me up quickly. "Have you seen Haley?" Zelo asked peaking around me and staring at the others. 

                         Jonghyun tilted his head and shook his head. "Why? Is she on your team?" He asked sounding concerned to. Zelo nodded and he looked over his shoulder and asked the other memembers. "No, we haven't." Taemin said standing beside Onew who seemed miserable. "I'm going to kill her. If she is making out with that boy...." Key said puting his hands on his hips. "When did you become her mother?" Mika asked as we walked away from the huge group of boys. "I am her mother. She just doesn't know it. And your the father." He said patting Mika's shoulder. "Shh. You hear that?" Jay asked holding his arm out in front of us. "Key!" A voice yelled loudly. Haley! We all started running and Key bellowed his way in the front. "Mommy's coming!" He yelled nearly leaving us all behind. Where in the heck did they go? "Teaches her to run off with that loser." Zelo commented as he jogged beside me. I looked at him quickly. "Stop, Zelo. Yejun's really nice." Sungjae said angerily. What are they talking about. As if he didn't know I was listening, he snickered. "I still hate him." He said making me run faster. I thought him and Zelo were friends?! "Their in this room." Mika said softly standing in front of a brown door. 

                        Haley's POV: "Wait, stop moving!" I said as we both moved around in a huge net that we both tripped over. Now we both were stuck, hanging above the ground. "I want to get out! It's scary and dark!" He whined loudly. I grunted as he thrashed around some more. I just heard Key not long ago...I know it was him because he's the only one who calls himself my 'mommy.' I blushed as I lunged foreword and landed directly on top of Yejun. "I-I'm sorry!" I said struggling to get off of him. In the dark, I could still see his half smile. "Wow, I didn't know you move that fast." He said amusedly, making me punch his shoulder. "Haley? Are you ok?" Key asked and there was the loud sound of footsteps as he walked in the room. "Yeah! Were up here!" I said still struggling to get out of the akward position with Yejun. "You know, your very pretty. Espacially up close." He said softly. I felt my face turn beat red and I was glad that it was dark. "Were going to get you down." Jonghyun said from below us. "Don't squish Yejun when you fall." Minho said making me pout. I heard the loud scarping sound of metal cutting into the nut. "Duck down, Haley." Mika called out to me. I blushed heavily and looked at Yejun who shrank back some. We'd practically be face to face. "I don't want to cut you guys." Key said grunting with effort. I lowered my head slowly and blushed at how close we were together. 

               Wow....He's so cute... He gave a hot half smile and I felt my heart pound as I could feel his hot breath on my neck. I screamed and clung onto him as the bug ripped suddenly. We both landed with a loud thud on the ground. "Are you ok?" Taemin asked leaning over me. I groaned in pain and slowly sat up. "Can't....Breathe..." Yejun said from underneath me. I blushed and stood up quickly. He shakily got on his feet again and leaned against Onew. "What were you doing with my sister?" Key snapped standing by my side. He pulled out the pocket knife and he looked like the mosty scariest thing ever. Yejun screamed like a girl and hid behind Minho. Minho shook his head and mumbled something under his breath. "Key, come on." Mika said walking over towards me with a tiny smile. I blushed as he flipped his black bangs. "She's super cute...Who couldn't resist?" He asked gentle my face with his tongue sticking out slightly. I squirmed and felt a squeal escape my lips. "Hey! Don't touch my princess!" Yejun said crossing his arms and glaring heavily at Mika. Mika chuckled micheviously and hugged my head. Zelo and his friend laughed at me and I felt myself blush once more. I jumped as the enercome came on. "I have just been informed on the winners and loosers." The princaple said over the inacome. We both stared at each other worriedly. Please....

                 Yejun tensed up behind me and he folded his hands together and closed his eyes tightly. "Well....Zelo's team." The princaple said over the inner come. All of us exchanged confused glances. But...We all pretty much stayed together. "Does that mean we all have to do the punishment? We all stuck together." Key yelled looking up at the innercome. There was a long pause then the sound of laughter in the back ground. "Yes. You all have to dress up as the oppisite tomorrow." The princaple said before giving a loud cackle. I went wide eyed and my hands automatically covered my mouth in shock. No way I'm doing that. "Taemin makes a pretty girl." Mika said giving a smile at Taemin. Yejun rested his hand on my shoulder making me look at him slowly. "At least we'd all be doing it together." He said with a tiny shrug. I groaned in dismay and rested my head in my hands. "That means I'm going to have to dress as a boy..." I said annoyedly. The others chuckled softly but stopped when I looked at them sharply. "You can still be my princess." Yejun said flashing me a charming smile. Without noticing it, I felt my cheeks turn bright red. "I'm not your princess." I said puting my hands on my hips. He gave a small smile and looked down. "Yeah, I'm everyones princess." Key said snapping his fingers. We all laughed and he wrapped his arm around my shoulder. "I guess were gifted with natural good looks." I joked smiling at Key. He nodded and messed up my long black hair. "But I'm gourgous." He said. 

                             Mika wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling my closer to him. "Your such a flirt, Mika." Zelo said shaking his head. Mika gentle my face and titled my head up so that I was staring at him. "It's obvious she would date me, out of all of you all." He said as we continued to walk down the hallway towards the doors of the school. I don't think I'd be able to date any of them honestly. Zelo walked beside me and smiled down at me. "Is it ok if I walk with you?" He asked gentle. I nodded and akwardly looked away from him as we both walked. "Do you really like any of them?" He asked as we both kept a steady pace ahead of the group. I smiled and shook my head. "No, their just all good friends." I said with a tiny shrug. He chuckled and I jumped as he reached for my hand. "This might sound crazy, but on the first day of school...Everyone was talking about you. I was thinking, I bet she's amazing." He said looking me deep in the eyes. I gulped nervously and I felt my heart hammer against my chest. Iv'e liked him for so long... "Honestly, Iv'e liked you for a long time." I forced myself to say coolly. He was quiet then he pulled me into his arms. I blushed heavily as he wrapped his arms around my waist. "Then will you go out with me?" He asked softly as the others passed. 'I don't like him.' Yejun's words echoed in my head and I swallowed. But I don't want to hurt Yejun...He's one of the closest friends I got. Zelo slowly let go of my hand and looked down. "I'm sorry." He said disappointedly before turning around. "Wait! Yes, I'd love to go out with you." I said feeling my heart hammer against my chest. He hugged me and rested his head on my shoulder. "Your my princess." 

                            Zelo's POV: I gave a tiny smirk as I looked over her shoulder. Yejun was standing there, with hurt, and disappointment in his blue eyes. Your so unlucky,...Even the girl you like won't like you back. As I let her go, Yejun hid quickly. "Well, I'm going to go." She said smiling at me happily. I nodded and smiled back. Ew...She's ugly. "Yeah, see you tomorrow my princess." I said cheerfully. She blushed heavily and walked away, studying her feet. When she was gone, Yejun slowly came out. "You freaking like her, don't you?" I asked micheviously. Yejun clenched his fist and his blue eyes glowed with hatred. "Leave her alone." He said through clenched teeth. I felt sympathy surge through me, and for the hundreth time, I wanted to hug him and be on his side. But his brother would hurt me and ruin everything for me. "No, sorry I can't do that." I said with a casual shrug. He charged at me and I was surprised when he pinned me against the white wall of the hallway. "Just leave her alone, she didn't do anything. She let her be happy." He said pleadingly. I looked down and slammed him into the locker. "Doesn't your brother and mother abuse you enough? You don't deserve anything....No happiness, or love." I said through clenched teeth. He wiggled under my grip but I kept a tight grip on the front of his shirt. "Your better then this Zelo. Your still my best friend...." He said giving me a small smile. How does he do that?! He always smiles for everyone....Even if he's hurting on the inside. "I'm not your friend!" I said raising my fist and punching him hard. His head jerked violently and blood trickled down his lip. I let him go and turned away quickly. "Your brothers not  happy with you....I wish you luck." I said as I walked off. "Bye Zelo, I hope you realize how much you mean to me." He said before turning away. I closed my eyes and looked back at him. He sniffled silently and wiped his eyes quickly with his sleeve. We were close friends...But everything went down hill. "I'm sorry, brother." I said.
