You were shocked by his actions. You never dated anyone nor had experiences in kissing, excluding the ones Luhan gave you, but you could tell it wasn’t a kiss of lust or of any sort. It was a kiss pure of emotions and love, but you didn’t know that.

Which guy would be willing to calm down his hormones and not jump right there, right then, on the girl beside him, on the same bed and almost half ? It took all his willpower not to pounce on you since after all, he was a man and he had needs. He was at the age where his raging hormones were at its most active, but his love and respect for you were overpowering his selfishness.

Kisses with Luhan were always on the cheek or stolen kisses on the lips. He was the one who always initiated it. At first, it was awkward but you grew used to it as unusual as it sounded. You didn’t feel uncomfortable with his kisses – they were always sweet. Your kisses weren’t that many but they were meaningful.

Luhan hesitantly pulled away and looked at you. You wanted to ask him what the kiss was for, but you didn’t want to be awkward around him. One thing you were sure of, it was sincere. You looked at him waiting for his next move and you received a warm kiss on your forehead.

You knew something was bothering him, but you didn’t know why he was acting that way. Then it hit you, *maybe he needed comfort*. Really? Comfort a guy by kisses and hugs? You weren’t sure, but your instinct told you to do so.

You wrapped your arms around his waist and you felt him froze before he put his arms around your body and rested his head on your shoulder. His body felt warm and you’d always fallen asleep whenever you lay your head on his shoulder. His warmth was something you were really familiar and fond of.

You stayed like that for a couple of seconds before you pulled away. “Let’s go to sleep. I know something is bothering you, but I am always here for you, okay?” You smiled at him and went in under the covers.

He smiled painfully, thinking about what things might be like in the future. How could he stop thinking about it when his best friend and the girl he loved would be together? That just hurt. No, hurt was an understatement.

He got under the blanket too and hugged you from behind before drifting off to sleep.

School ended earlier than usual as all the teachers had an urgent meeting regarding to the school’s festival. You didn’t want to go home yet knowing Luhan would still be in the meeting by the time you reached home. He skipped school today because he had an important meeting to go which his father asked him to attend.

You decided to walk around first and soon you were at the mall. You decided to go for window shopping but you couldn’t resist the urge to buy. Buy things that you thought would really suit Luhan.

You entered a men’s clothing shop and most of the customers were guys and aunties. The saleslady greeted you and you smiled at her politely. Knowing Luhan already had too many suits, you decided to buy ties for him. You looked around for ties and inspected them meticulously before comparing them to others.

The saleslady approached you and smiled at you in awe. “Do you need any help in choosing a tie for your boyfriend?”

You shook your head and said, “I’m fine. I just can’t decide which one to buy for my husband.”

She looked surprised when you said the word ‘husband’. “Ah, I think I remember you now. You are Luhan’s wife, isn’t it?” she asked curiously.
