Police car lights flash outside her window. What the hell is that? She wondered to herself. "Leeteuk, sweetie, get the door." He rolled his eyes. "Sure thing..." They should have gotten here sooner... Leeteuk let the police in. 

"Kim Taeyeon!" the officer yelled.

"Yeah yeah yeah... there's food cooking and I'll treat you later. Sit down."

"No Miss Kim, you are to come with us now."

"W-what?"

"Miss Kim, you're under arrest for grand theft."

"T-this has to be some kind of mistake, officer."

"It's no mistake. We have suitable evidence proving your guiltiness. Come now." 

Taeyeon remained silent as she stared at her boyfriend. She gave him a puzzled look. Leeteuk looked away emotionless as the police dragged her away.

Almost a year passed and Taeyeon was released from jail. Her reputation got her an early release, but she was stripped of her earnings and reputability. With no friends and a bad family relationship, she walked around aimlessly along the Seoul streets, receiving dirty looks from a few of the tougher looking people living on the streets. For the first time in her life, Taeyeon was scared. 

The weather was stormy, and as Taeyeon looked upwards she felt a few drops on her face. She sighed and ran off to find some place to find shelter. 

"Hey, you." Taeyeon heard a rough, deep voice call after her. A bead of sweat dropped down her face. She didn't turn back. She continued to quicken her pace.

"Hey! We called you. Come here, sweetheart." Taeyeon felt even more creeped out as a second voice called after her. She started to run.

"HEY!" Taeyeon was sprinting for her life. "P-please! Leave me alone!"

They finally caught up to her and grabbed both of her wrists. "Let's go somewhere private, yeah?" Thug #2 said. Taeyeon felt chills roll down her spine. "N-no!" She kneed the second offender and he released his grip, but she still had the other man to deal with.

"HEY!" A third voice rang in Taeyeon's ears. She looked in its direction.

"Get off of her, you jerks!" The voice casted a large shadow, intimidating the man. He grabbed his friend and pulled him out, fleeing the scene.

"He looks a bit too tough for me... we're going now!" He yelled to his friend.

Taeyeon collapsed in the rain, sobbing out of shock. The shadow approached her. "D-don't come any closer! Please don't-" The rain was no longer on her. She looked up. There stood the cutest and kindest looking boy Taeyeon had ever seen. He radiated a comforting feeling... a sort of feeling that was new for Taeyeon. He was blonde, and really wasn't big at all. In fact, he was on the short-side... he looked as if he was a young adult.

"You can't be out here at night. Do you need a ride home?" Taeyeon blushed in embarrassment and turned away.

"Y-you don't have a place to stay, do you?" Taeyeon shook her head in shame and closed her eyes, expecting the kind boy to be gone in an instant.

She opened her eyes and felt a warm sensation. There was a jacket wrapped around her shoulders. "I have more... you know, I stacked them on me to make my shadow bigger," the boy chuckled at his wit. 

"Thank you..." That was the first 'thank you' Taeyeon had said in a while, "So... I guess I'll be g-going now..." Taeyeon turned to leave.

Someone seized her arm.

"You don't think I'm going to let you out there by yourself, do you?" Taeyeon's eyes widened.

"W-what do you mean?" the boy sighed.

"You can come stay with me. My place is small but... I think we can fit," he smiled, "we're both small."

Before Taeyeon knew it, she was already nodding her head and being walked to the little car that must have belonged to the boy. 

C-can I trust him?

"Oh, by the way, you can call me Sunny. That's what all my friends call me... a bit girly, huh? Well... it's better than my actual name, I guess." Sunny chuckled.

I can trust him...

"Um... what's your name?" Taeyeon snapped out of her trance.

"O-oh, I'm Taeyeon... Kim Taeyeon."
