Everyone thought Amber was overdoing it.

"She's crazy--she's going to end up killing herself," they all said.

But Amber thought differently.

She was simply tired of the same routine, over and over again, doing nothing but that routine. No fun, no excitement.

She wanted to feel everything to the fullest. She wanted to try new things, do new things, and just enjoy.

She wanted to know everything there is to be about life. She didn't want to merely exist, for no-one and for no purpose.

She wanted to be useful.

In other words, she wanted to live.
