"Ahhh... That is so good" 

You felt the warmth of your mug of coffee trickle down your throat, warming your body as the autumn wind passed by the rooftop garden of the NH Media Office building,

You were the first to head off for your lunch break, so you had escaped to the serenity of the gardens, escaping the buzzing of the office. 

The weekend had passed since the debut performance of uBeat, and everyone was still talking about their performance in Taiwan. Whilst you were still thinking about that one rapper; Eli Kim.

"Someone's enjoying their coffee a little too much"

You glanced to your side to see the face that belonged to the sweet voice; Kevin.

"Good morning" You smiled before taking another sip of your coffee, "Did you need somewhere to relax too?"

Kevin sat himself right beside you on the outdoor lounge as he crossed his leg and enjoyed the fresh air,

"The debut news is still going around" He said lightly, "Some good... some bad"

"Well, I think you guys did really great!" You said honestly, before turning the mood to a happier one, "Did you hear me cheering for you guys? I'm pretty sure I was the loudest,

Chuckling, Kevin gave your hand a light squeeze,

"Oh I did" He teased, "Out of the hundreds, my ears only heard yours"

"Yah!" You slapped his arm in return, "Are you mocking your Noona?"

Kevin instantly put on his puppy face as he rubbed his arm where you had hit him,

"No..." He pulled out the aegyo just in time as Min and Lee had entered the garden, spotting the both of you.

Ignoring Kevin's aegyo act, you sat upright once again and placed your mug on the wooden coffee tabke that had been made from the stump of an old tree,

"_______-ah" Min addressed you from the entrance as Lee stood quietly behind her, "The CEO is holding a brief meeting in five minutes"

"They found our secret place" Kevin whispered behind his hand to your ear, to which you softly giggled to,

"Are we required to be there?" You tried to be professional despite the fact that you didn't feel like going since it was only the CEO calling the meeting; not the president.

Min asked your question to Lee, who seemed to know the answer,

"Yes!" She called back, raising her voice so it could be heard over the airplane soaring over the city skyline, "The both of you"

Sighing heavily, you put your head back, resting on the back of the lounge before deciding to get up and prepare for the meeting.

"Didn't you hear?" You joked as you let out your hand to Kevin who had made himself comfortable on the lounge, "You're needed at the meeting too"

Slowly but surely, Kevin took your hand as he rose up, revealing how much taller he was to you as he stood infront if you,

"Coming mom!"

Walking with a straight posture into the conference room, your eyes immediately began to search for Eli. You continued to walk slowly to your labelled seat, scanning all the faces of those in the room, but aside from your co-workers, all you saw was AJ who sat beside Kevin with his headphones on.

As you took your place, you exchanged a smile with both AJ and Kevin, noticing the empty seat on the other side of Kevin; most likely reserved for Eli. The CEO approached the podium set up at the front of the room before she tapped the microphone, calling everyones attention,

And just as the CEO was about to speak, a hurried figure entered the conference room. Keep your cool, you tousled your hair and straightened your skirt before lifting your gaze to see who it was,

"I'm not late, am I?" 

Myung sat in assigned seat instantly beside you, messing with his fringe as he looked to you.

"Well... no" You mumbled, disappointed that it wasn't who you were expecting.

Everyone in the room began to silence as the CEO began the meeting,

"Good afternoon everyone" CEO Shin started, "I'm calling this meeting for the review of uBeat's debut performance, last friday"

A few began to clap and as everyone caught on, the whole room began to applaud, leaving AJ and Kevin humbled.

"Yes, congratulations" She continued, "We can all agree that the debut lived up to its initial promotion, but of course, there are always areas to improve"

The room had silenced with a few coughs. You tilted your head in honest confusion; you thought their debut was great (of course you did), and you weren't sure of where the meeting topic was going.

AJ too appeared confused where as Kevin looked like he greatly agreed.

"I guess the irony of this meeting..." CEO Shin sighed, "Is that the ones, or particularly, the one that needs to be here and hear this the most, isn't here at all"

With those words, everyone had turned in whichever position they were in the room to look the empty chair that belonged to Eli.

"And since he's not here" She clasped her hands, "I call this meeting over but shall continue with the following people tomorrow, who's name I will call"

Half the room tried to hide their smiles on their faces, glad that they wouldnt be bored to death with the meeting whilst the other half listened intently to hear if their name would be called,

"Min"

"Lee"

"Myung"

"Kevin"

"AJ"

"___________"

"And Eli"

CEO Shin had finished calling out the names and removed herself from the podium before approaching AJ,

"AJ; I'm trusting that you'll remind him" She folded her arms as she gave him a stern look,

"Yes m'am" He bowed, holding onto his headphones at the same time.

Min, Myung and Lee began to conversate about what the possible issue was as the rest of the employees filed out of the conference room in a proper manner. Kevin and AJ began to text Eli, from the looks of it, letting him know about the scolding that would follow.

As for you, you picked up your 'NH Media' pen and began to write down reminder notes of the meeting in your diary,

'Eli Kim = Truant'
