L. Joe’s POV

Today’s competition is all about track n’ field. 1st stop was high jump. It was divided to girls and boys division. As for the boys, blue won but for the girls, our team won as Eun Mi sets a new record in our school for the highest jump in girls division. 2nd stop, longest jump. Red won. 3rd was javelin throw, blue won and they also won in the boy division in 100 meter dash.

It was the last event of the competition as it was the 100 meter dash for the girls. Eun Mi was our representative. As I look at the scoreboard, blue and our team tied with 4 wins each. I started to get nervous since Min Hye is blue’s representative. She is the record holder as the fastest woman in 100 meter dash here in school. I clasped my hands together hoping Eun Mi will win. But if she really can’t do it, I just really wish for her safety.

The representative of each team stood up on their line and stretched. The entire crowd cheered for their team. The announcer then starts the race. “Ready….Get set….BOOM!” As he shots the gun. They started running. Min Hye was leading. I was surprised as Eun Mi was catching up. I then stood up and jumped up and down. You can do it Eun Mi! I closely watched the race and all of them stared at me weirdly. I didn’t mind and jumped up and down again.

After a few seconds, Eun Mi was leading. She then crosses the finish line first. “YYYYEEEAAAHHHH!!!!!” I started to scream and jump happily. They stared at me again weirdly. But then, as Eun Mi slows down, Min Hye speeds up and I know she purposely ran onto Eun Mi. They fall off the ground. Min Hye then stood up and walks away but as for Eun Mi, she’s still lying on t
