Foreword
All is well in the kingdom of Aerok- usually.
Corrupt creatures are terrorizing the civilians, destroying towns and villages, under the jurisdiction of an unknown being. People are afraid to leave their homes, and the government can’t seem to find evidence of the mastermind.
Like any other inhabited land, Aerok had seen its fair share of wars and been dealt a good amount of battle scars from none other than those it provides a home for, but none so as bad as this.
What for?
The Tree of Life, source of the whole land’s energy and basic existence; without it, Aerok would not thrive, or even be.
Evil is afoot; someone is taking control of each main root, and essentially, taking over the tree. Control of the tree is equivalent to control of Aerok. To stop power from falling into the wrong hands, the much-respected King Sooman has enlisted the aid of the exclusive force, EXO, to regain supremacy and restore stability.
There are a couple of questions, however:
Who even are they after?
And why is it essential that they find another companion along the way?
