“Alright, so Taeyeon, this is your first job, lets make the best out of it okay?!”

Taeyeon fixed her fringe and took the last minute to look at herself in the mirror as she gets ready before the shop opens

“Yep, Fighting Kim Taeyeon!”

The latter cheered herself on, and headed downstairs to start her shift for today

‘Sigh… This is going to be a very busy day! I’ll work hard! HWAITING!’

Taeyeon smiled at the thought and started helping the others prepare everything that was needed for that day

“Kim Taeyeon?”

“Yes sir? Do I need to help you with something?”

“Uhhh, the phone, it’s for you…”

“Somebody just called me right now?”

“Yep, some kid named Park Chanyeol…”

“Ahhh… Dae, please excuse me for a moment…” *bows at the man*

“Yes of course, the phone’s by the counter…”

“Ne, and also, Mr. Han….”

“Yes Ms. Kim? Anything else?”

“Good morning and thank you…” Taeyeon smiled at the manager of the shop and headed to the counter where the phone was located

--Yoboseyo? Yeollie?

--Noona!

--Why did you call?

--I just wanted to say good luck on your first job!

--Haha, yeah… Thanks!

--And also, don’t forget the groceries again! I know you’re tired and I’m sorry if I can’t do the job… You cook much better than I do though

--Haha, I won’t Yeollie… Good luck on your school too! College is fun, don’t put too much pressure okay?

--Ne… Bye noona… I’ll see you later…

--Bye Yeol… I’ll see you too!

Then the phone call ended and Taeyeon continued to work with the fellow staff members

Kim Taeyeon, single and works as a waitress in a coffee shop known as ‘The Sleeping Angel’ and they say it’s where the best brewed coffee is served that’s why lots and lots of people come everyday, and lucky for Taeyeon, they also give the best salary…

‘Just enough for the two of us…’

“Sigh… Alright ladies and gentlemen, I wish you all good luck for today, especially to our new member of the family, Ms. Kim Taeyeon!”

The other members clapped their hands as they welcomed their new member and stopped when their manager held up his hand

“Alright, let’s give it our best for today, and let’s open up this baby!”

“Yeah!!” The staff cheered on, and as they opened up the shop, many people barged in and the most tiring day begins

‘Sigh, well maybe at least their coffee would be make me feel all better…’ Tiffany smiled at the thought and went in to the coffee shop

‘As usual, they still have many costumers… Wait, isn’t this a bit too many? Weird…’

“Oh, good morning Ms. Tiffany, may I take your order?”

“Yes, Hana… Hmmm, I’ll take the usual for today…”

“Bad mood?”

“Yeah… He’s at it again…”

*chuckles* “I could see that clearly…”

“Haha, yeah… Where’s Mr. Han?”

“He’s looking out for our new member…”

“New member?”

“Yeah, oh wait here’s your change…”

*smiles* “Thanks…”

“So anyway, we have our new member, she’s a real cutie, I must say…”

*smiles* “Haha, seems like you’ve taken a liking for this girl, and you have, lots of costumers for today… So unusual…”

*smiles* “Yeah, she’s really kind, sweet, and cute! Seems like news travels fast, that’s why lots of people came here just to see her and not our coffee…”

*chuckles* “Haha, right…”

“You should go and take a seat first, we’ll just serve your order later…”

“Alright…”

Tiffany made her way to her usual spot and sat there… Nobody sat there, because it always has this ‘reserved’ sign that was placed on the table, which she clearly bought, and also, it’s because that spot has the nicest view of all… That’s why she decided to buy it

“Hey Taeyeon”

“Yeah?”

“Could you serve this to that lady over there?”

“Oh sure!” Taeyeon took the coffee from Hana’s hand and went to the direction where the said ‘lady’ was sitting

Taeyeon arrived with the coffee, and she must say… the ‘lady’ looked really breath taking…

‘How can someone be this beautiful?’

“Ahmm… Miss?”

Tiffany turned her head and to her surprise she was really stunned at the beauty of what was standing before her

‘I have never felt like this before, not since Jessica came… Ughh… You shouldn’t be thinking about her now!’

“Uhh… Miss?? Your coffee?” ‘Does she love to stare at people? What a weirdo…’

“Ah! Dae, dae… Thank you…”

“Your welcome…” Taeyeon smiled at Tiffany and she never failed to take the latter’s breath away with just a smile

‘How the hell? Why am I feeling like this?’

The day continued to pass and somehow, and in a strange turn of events… Something just has to happen…

“Hey, Taeyeon, last coffee to serve and you’ll be on your way…” Hana smiled at Taeyeon and Taeyeon nodded at her with a smile as she can’t wait to go home and rest for today…

‘Yes!’ Taeyeon glances at her watch and it read ‘six-o-clock’ just in time…

‘Yeollie’s not home yet, I still have time to cook! Yesh!’

“Sigh, alright please give me the tray…”

*passes the tray* “Here you go…”

Taeyeon took the tray and headed to the last costumer that she was about to serve for today... As Taeyeon went to the costumer, Tiffany also decided to head home, and unfortunately…

“OH MY GOD! I’M SO SORRY! I DIDN’T MEAN TO! I SWEAR---“ Taeyeon tried to wipe the coffee and unluckily, it just made it worse

“STOP! Oh my God… This dress… You!”

Taeyeon slipped and she just splashed coffee all over Tiffany’s new ’10,000 dollars’ limited edition dress

“What is happening in he---- Oh my God, Taeyeon!? What did you do?!”

“I-I-I…”

“She splashed coffee on my dress!”

“Did you do this on purpose?”

“WHAT?! NO!”

“Calm down kid…”

*turns to Tiffany* “Mi-mianhae, I didn’t really mean to!”

“Really now!? And I suppose how are you going to pay for this?!”

“I-I-I-I….”

“I’m really sorry to bother you all…” Mr. Han bows at the other costumers, and then he took Tiffany’s arm and also Taeyeon’s

“Look, girls, let’s take this to the office alright?”

“NO!” Tiffany retreats her arm from Mr. Han’s grasp

“Ms. Tiffany, I have costumers…”

Tiffany looked at Mr. Han, and softened a bit when she saw how sad and worried his face looked… The man just wanted to keep his business alive, and she’s about to ruin it if this gets worse…

“Alright, Mr. Han, for you…” Tiffany glances at the petite girl in front of her who was still holding onto the tray as tight as she could

*glares* “You, you will pay for this…” Then Tiffany started walking towards the manager’s office

“Hey kid, you okay?”

“Y-yes sir… I swear I didn’t mean to---“

“It’s alright, I saw everything… Seems like Taejoong mopped the floor too much didn’t he?” Mr. Han chuckled and patted Taeyeon’s shoulder

“I suppose he kind of did…” And it made Mr. Han chuckled more, and then both of them headed to the manager’s office

“Oh, Ms. Park, will you please kindly tell Mr. Cho, to mop the floor once again, and that I’ll be seeing him tomorrow in my office…”

“Yes sir…”

“This is absurd! You did this on purpose did you!?”

“No! I told you, I did not do it on purpose!”

“Huh! Are you that insecure on me? Splashing coffee on my dress! Do you know how much does this cost!?”

“No! And No! I am not insecure!”

“Pfft! You’re bluffing! I could see it!”

“Why the hell should I get insecure on you? I told you before I am not! And it was an accident!”

“Oh please…”

“Please my !”

“What did you just call me?!”

“Alright stop!”

Taeyeon and Tiffany glanced at Mr. Han who was constantly rubbing his temples due to frustration

“Mr. Han, I’m sorry… I shouldn’t have used that word…”

“Look, I know you didn’t really mean to do all of those things, I understand… And Ms. Tiffany, I saw the whole thing, the floor was really slippery, okay? Accidents happen at times…”

“Alright, I believe you, but how is she going to make up for my dress?”

“I don’t know Ms. Tiffany; it’s up to you…”

“How much is… The dress?”

“Why? Are you planning to pay for it?”

“Do I look like I have any other choice?…”

Tiffany scoffed and smirked at Taeyeon… She knew how incapable the girl was, judging from her looks, it’s a hundred percent affirmative that she is poor and Tiffany, planned to play a little game on her…

‘I could use some entertainment…’

“10,000 dollars…”

“WHAT?!”

“Hmmm… Ten thousand dollars, since this is brand new and a limited edition… You think you could still pay for it?”

‘… WHERE ON FOUR CORNERS OF THE EARTH AM I GOING TO FIND TEN ING THOUSAND DOLLARS?! YOU HAVE GOT TO BE TIN’ ME!’

“Well? I suppose you could sell your house… Besides, I need a new space for storage… What do you---”

“I’ll work for it…”

“What? I’m so sorry, I didn’t catch that…”

“Kid… What are you doing?” Mr. Han suddenly stood up from his seat and walks to Taeyeon’s side

“I said I’ll work for it…”

“Really now?” Tiffany a brow

“Yes… If this is the only choice I could rely on, well then yes, I really think I should work for it…”

“Hmmm… Let’s think about it… Ten thousand dollars and a shabby little girl…”

Mr. Han turned to Taeyeon and looked at her with a sad face… He knew how poor the girl was, so he’s worried of what might happen to her…

“Kid, you sure about this?” Taeyeon looked up to him with sad eyes… All she could think about is that kid that she lives with at home and how such a poor life she could have right now

“I don’t really know sir…”

“Aha! Got it…” Tiffany snaps her fingers and glances back to Taeyeon

‘Oh, this is going to be super fun!’

“What??”

“Be my slave until you have earned the ten thousand dollars… Then with that, I’ll set you free and never bother you again…”

“S-s-slave?!”

“Yeah… Slave… is that too hard for you? You said you wanted to work right?”

“Y-yeah… But how about my work here?”

“Are you that poor to not earn enough money for yourself?”

“Actually, we are two in my family…”

“I see, well then, I’ll make the schedule for you and with that, I’ll see you tomorrow… Slave…” Tiffany smirked at Taeyeon and made her way out of the office and quickly fished out her phone from her pocket

--Hello, Baekhyun-ah…

--Oh, noonim! It’s about time; do you want me to pick you up now?

--Obviously!

--Right… Haha…

--Hurry up; I have something interesting to tell you…

--Ooooohhh… My curiosity tells me, you have something fishy…

--Kind of…

--I’ll hurry up then, I’ll see you later my loving cousin…

--I can’t wait…

Tiffany then ended the phone call and patiently waited for the arrival of her cousin

‘You don’t mess with the uber awesome Tiffany Hwang! Bwahahahaha!!’ Tiffany laughed diabolically inside her head, while Taeyeon made her way out of the office

“Goodbye Mr. Han and everyone, you’ve worked hard, kamsahamnida” Taeyeon bowed at everyone and just as she was about to leave the place, she glances at the ‘lady’ sitting at the corner of the room…

Tiffany rested her chin on her hand and gave Taeyeon an evil smirk before the latter really made her way out of the shop…

Taeyeon gulped the imaginary lump on …

‘That lady… REALLY PISSES ME OFF! ARGHHH!!!’
