Tiffany, still on her bed, stretched and yawned, as to relieve herself up due to exhaustion from last night’s party…

“Sigh… One party down! Five to go! Hahahahaha!!” Tiffany laughed hysterically while clapping her hands and got interrupted by a knock on the door…

“Young mistress, Mr. Hwang wants to see you…” The maid said through the door, though she’s a door away, the statement really found its way to mark into the latter’s head…

‘Aisshh!! What does he want this time!? Can’t he just give me my Sunday?? Aigoo!’

“Dae! I’m coming… I’ll be there in a minute…”

“Yes, young mistress…”

Hwang Tiffany, quite a name in the industry… Daughter of the one and only powerful leaders in the business world, filthy rich as she receive some from her parents, and not to mention, she works as their CEO too, in order to take over her parent’s “greatest creations”  and to gain money of her own…

‘Sigh… If only I could be free like the rest of the people in the world, then maybe I could be doing what I truly loved the most… Sigh… Like it’ll happen alright!? Pfftt! Who am I kidding?!’

Tiffany did her morning routine and preceded down stairs, she was greeted by twenty household keepers getting their head bowed down at her

“Good morning young mistress”

And Tiffany just walked past right them heading towards the dining room, where her father was eating…

“Good morning dad, you wanted to see me?”

“Dae, please, take a seat…” 

*sits down* “If this is about the company, please, could you please just leave my Sunday peaceful? We could always talk about it on the week day’s right?”

“’Fany-ah, I’m not here to talk about the company…”

“What is it then?!”

“Could you at least watch your tone young lady? Let’s not forget the household rules…”

“Mian… I didn’t mean to…”

Mr. Hwang clears his throat and then proceeds to his talking, while Tiffany drinks a cup of tea that was served before her…

“As I was saying, you, young lady, when are you planning to get married?!”

Tiffany spewed her tea back to its cup and coughed continuously at her father’s sudden question

‘Eottokhe?! I don’t have anyone yet!’

Tiffany fidgeted at her place, and her right eye just suddenly started twitching like crazy

‘Eottokhe, eottokhe?! I just “recovered” from a bad rejection, and now he is starting to talk about marriage?! Aish jinjja!! And now my eye won’t cooperate with me! Arghhh!!’

Tiffany puts her hand to her right eye and covers it

“D-dad…”

“Hmmm?”

“I don’t really need anyone right now…”

“Wae?”

“Uh, uhhh… You see it’s like this… uhh….”

“Well, spit it out! And stop covering your eye like that, it’s distracting…”

“Ahhh… Dae…” Tiffany puts her hand slowly down to her lap, but the twitching hasn’t stopped

“You see…”

“Hmmm?”

“I just got re----“

Tiffany’s conversation with her dad got disrupted because of a phone call for her dad…

‘Thank god! And thank God the twitching has stopped!’

“Dae, dae, I will do it right away…” Mr. Hwang turns to Tiffany who was spacing out

“Fany-ah, let’s continue this some other time, President Kim wants to see me… Mianhaeyo…”

“Aniya… It’s alright, you’re quite busy nowadays, I understand…” ‘Cause you’ve always been like this to me… That’s right; it’s me who should always understand…’

Mr. Hwang smiles at his daughter and kisses her forehead lightly before he exits the room… In a matter of seconds, she was alone again, in a big house with nothing but butlers and maids…

“Sigh… So this is what I get for being rich? I lose my parents?” Tiffany scoffed at the thought

“Pity me; I could never have parents who can at least spend some time with their only child…” Tiffany huffed and looked at her tea

“Good morning noonim!” Tiffany startles at the sudden greeting, but smiles when she realizes who’s the owner of the voice

“Oh! Baekhyun-ah! Morning!” Tiffany smiles at her cousin who just went down to eat his breakfast

“What’s with the long face? Did uncle reprimand you or something?” Baekhyun sat at one of the chairs and the maids started placing his meal in front of him

“No…”

“Then what’s the sitch?”

“He just asked me to get married again…”

“Pffftt!! Again?! AHAHAHAHA!!”

“YAH! This is not funny Byun Baekhyun!”

“AHAHAHA!! I know! It’s just that… AHAHAHAHA!!”

“Aigoo… Here we go again…”

It was always like this, whenever it comes to Tiffany’s love life Baekhyun would just until she could no longer contain the embarrassment, and it would satisfy the latter…

“I know, I know… I’m sorry, noonim…” Baekhyun wiped the tears that formed in his eyes, and then continued to talk again

“But, wasn’t it that you just got… dumped…”

Tiffany then suddenly slams her hands on the table and glares at Baekhyun 

“That’s it! One more word Byun Baekhyun, and I swear to God, you will sleep beside the dogs… Got that?”

*gulps* “Y-y-yes noonim…”

“Good… Now, let’s talk about school, how was it?” Tiffany smiles at Baekhyun as she sat down again and regains her composure

‘Sheesh, what a bipolar!’

“A-ahem… I’m waiting…”

“Oh yeah, right! Soo… Hmmm… School? Of all the things really!?”

“What?! I don’t really know what to talk about with you?!”

Baekhyun chuckled at his cousin’s statement… It’s true that they’re really close, but sometimes people lose topics to talk about… Just like now!

“How about we talk about Jessica-noona? It’s been a while since you’ve talked about her… What happened actually?” Baekhyun rested his chin on his hands and his face turned into a gloomy one

“……”

“Well? I thought she loved you? What happened?”

Tiffany looked away from Baekhyun’s stare; the gloomy atmosphere could be felt in the room, as she shifted again her gaze back to Baekhyun

“I got friendzoned and left me, for somebody else…”

“So I heard… She is getting engaged already, that’s what the people say…” Baekhyun took a sip from his tea and then he started munching his sandwich

“Yeah… I guess she and her family couldn’t wait for her to get married….”

“So they decided to do it on your birthday… And sent us a ing invitation! How cruel could she get?!” Baekhyun scoffed and took another sip from his tea

“Baekhyun-ah---“

“Noonim, look, if she truly loved you why would she leave you for some jerk who stole her away from you! I just really think she would regret it a lot if she loses someone like you…”

Tiffany softened a bit with her cousin’s last statement… It gave her a bit of comfort, that somehow, this kid could still have a soul and appreciate every single bit of her personality…

“Thanks, I really needed that…”

*smiles* “Anything for you…” 

“But, we could never do anything about it, she is after all is going to get married, on my freakin’ birthday…”

*chuckles* “Well, at least on that day, we could be crashing into a party right?”

“Yeah, I guess so…” Baekhyun starts to walk toward Tiffany’s side, and then arrives at her spot, giving her the brightest smile he could ever give her and pats his hand on her shoulder

“That’s the spirit! Don’t be so gloomy all over ‘Jessica’ you’ll find someone else, sooner or later okay?”

“I hope so…”

“Alright! So, what do you wanted to do now?”

“Let’s go and drink some coffee!”

“But we just had tea!”

“Aish… I’ll go by myself then!”

“Hihi… Sorry noonim! You go on, and I’ll be meeting someone… Call me when you need me to drive you home, okay?”

“Okay…” Baekhyun then kisses Tiffany’s forehead, took the car keys and rushed outside the house and finally left

‘Aish, that kid… He never learns!’ Tiffany smiled at the thought and also made her way out of the house… She maybe rich, but there are days that she just wanted to walk towards her destination, like that coffee shop she’s always been to…

‘Ahhh… Good coffee from them would be really nice… At least, there would be no 'dad' there!’
