Final

He sat on the edge on their bed. He looked out of the window. He already changed his clothes and then he stared at someone who was sleeping behind him.

Then he leaned in and kissed her forehead, “Baby, I’m going…”

“Hi, Lay.” Baekhyun greeted the man in front of him. The opponent just gave him a smile as the dimple appeared on his cheek. “Hi, Baekhyun. Is that your name in the earth?”

“Yes. And Lay is your name?”

He nodded. “Well, why you ask me to come here?”

Baekhyun took a step closer to Lay. “I need your help. I need your power.”

“For what? You know my power is healing and I see that you seem very well.” Lay said as he wrapped his arms on his chest. “Are you okay?”

Baekhyun sighed, “This is not for me. This is for someone that I know here.”

“A girl?”

And once again Baekhyun nodded. “She’s blind. Because of me. Please, help me.”

“What did you do?”

“We had an accident. We’re safe but it took her sight. I know you can heal her so I did call you to come here so you can heal her for me.”

Lay shook his head, “No I can’t.”

“What?” Baekhyun widened his eyes. “Yes, you can, Lay. You have a power of healing.” He sped off to Lay and grabbed Lay’s shoulder. He shook it hard, “You can do that.”

“I know but I never tried it to human. Maybe I can heal animal or plant but no for human. I’m not God, Baekhyun. I will lose all my power if I did it.” Lay shuttered.

Baekhyun loosened his grips. "So you can't help me?"

"I need more powers, Baekhyun. I mean, to heal a human, I need huge power and I don't want to sacrifice my life, just for someone I don't know." Lay explained. "Unless..." He looked at Baekhyun with a weird stare.

"Unless what?" Baekhyun shot a question.

"Unless you give me your power. Do you remember what our teacher told us? Your power and mine are paralel. Your power can help me to get stronger."

"Really?" It was the first time he heard that kind of thing. He thought that it was just an ordinary thing and he never put attention on his teacher's speech before at school.

"Yes but I never try it before. I mean, you always skip the class." Lay mocked.

Baekhyun scoffed. "Yeah. Maybe we should try it now."

"But we don't know the result. I'm afraid that something bad will happen to you later. Don't act like fools!" Lay said.

"Well, we never know if we never try." Baekhyun looked at his hands and it sparkled a very bright light. "Are you ready?"

"Good luck, Baekhyun."

Darkness poured every single corner of their house. She hugged her bolster and then reached out looking for Baekhyun but he was found no where.

She slowly took her stick and walked out from the room. "Baekkie, where are you?"

Carefully, she went out from her bedroom and tried to call Baekhyun once more. "Baekkie.."

There's no answer.

Suddenly in the middle of silence, she felt a flash of shadow passing by behind her. "Who's that?" She turned around fast and asked. "Is that you, Baekhyun?"

Once more, there's no reply but someone blew a wind on her ear. She quickly looked around, "Who's that?"

She took step by step in alert, "Who's that?" Then suddenly someone touched her shoulder. "Baekhyun?"

"I'm not Baekhyun." He answered.

She gasped in shock and walked backward fast. "Don't touch me! Get out from my house!!"

"I'm coming to help you."

"Who are you? Help me what?" She cried. "If you dared to touch me, I'll call the cop."

"I'm Lay. Baekhyun asked me to help you. He wants me to heal your eye sight, girl." Lay explained.

"Where's Baekhyun? What are you doing to him?" She stopped. "Wait! You said you come to heal my sight?"

"I'll explain you everything you want to know but please can you put your stick? It almost hit my eyes." Lay walked slowly to the couch and sat on there. "Why don't you come here so I can talk with you?"

"No, I won't sit beside you, stranger. I don't know you before. Please, tell me where's Baekhyun. I want to see him."

"I don't know you too but Baekhyun did. You probably know about the truth about us, don't you?"

She startled, "You're an alien too?"

"Yes we are. Do you know Baekhyun's power as well?" She nodded. Lay then smiled a bit. It's much easier to tell her then. "So I have a power too and my power is healing."

Her eyes widened and Lay could see that she seemed amused yet shocked. "I can heal plants and animals but I never try on human before, so this is my first time. I don't know if it will work or not to your eyes but I'll give a try."

"So you can make me see again?"

Lay took a flash step and stood beside her. She jumped in shock. "We'll know the answer later. By the way, do you have any food here?"

"I have some foods on the refrigator. Why?"

"I'll need food after healing you so you have to give me some food later." She smiled and then nodded. Lay took one of her hand, "Now close your eyes." And with the other hand, Lay covered both of her eyes.

"It will hurt a little but it'll be fine. You can just hold my hands if you feel anything terrified."

Then she felt something warm on her eyes once Lay started to heal her eyes. The room soon became very bright. As she felt something tickling, she held Lay's hands tightly and she also could feel how cold Lay's hands became. "A-are you o-okay?"

Lay didn't answer. He kept irridating her eyes with the light from his hand. He was right. After receiving power from Baekhyun, his healing power got stronger but it also took all his power up. "Yo-you can o-open your eyes." He tried to speak. Damn! Even I can't talk properly. I'm too tired.

She slowly opened her eyes. At first time, everything went blurry. She tried to focus and everything became very clear. "Lay?" She called the stranger's name.

"Yeah?" Lay answered.

The stick fell down and she cried in happiness, "I can see again! I'm not blind anymore!!" She hugged Lay. "Thank you, Lay." She said.

Lay smiled and then fell down, "Lay! Are you okay?"

"I'm fine. I just lost my power too much."

"Sit down first." She helped him to sit on the couch. "Do you need any food or drink?"

"No, thanks. I just need some rest."

Then she realized something, "Now you can tell me where Baekhyun is. Is he still alive?"

"Yes he is but he's very weak now. He's dying now. He's same like me: we lost too much power but his condition is worse because he gave me almost all of his power. I'm afraid that he can't make it. We need to go back home before we're late."

"Can I see him now?"

"He won't let me to bring you to see him. We need to recover ourselves soon." Lay tried to stand up. "But I can't promise you that we can come back to Earth anymore. We're just too long way back from home."

"So I can't meet Baekhyun anymore?"

"I'm sorry but it's yes."

Then Lay went disappeared before she could say goodbye.

"Hey man..."

Lay arrived when he found that Baekhyun was lying on the bed. They were at Lay's house. Baekhyun's condition was too terrified. He even couldn't move from the bed.

"Are you okay?"

Baekhyun smiled, "How is she? Is it going well?" He asked. Lay nodded, "She can see now, Baekhyun."

The other man then closed his eyes in satisfied. "Good then. You did a good job, Lay. Are you okay, Lay? Your face seems pale."

"Yeah, I'm kinda lost too much power but I'll be fine. Now we should be worried about your condition. You seems getting worse."

Baekhyun scoffed, "I thought that if I went sleeping, my power would be recovered but in fact, it's not. I feel like every part of my body is numb and all my energies drained."

"See? I told you so, Baekhyun. This is the price that you've to pay." Lay began to sob. "I don't want you to die, Baekhyun. You're my friend."

"I won't die, fool." Baekhyun laughed. "I'll be fine."

"No, you're not, Baekhyun. You think I can't see your condition. We should go back home now before..."

"It's too late, Lay. I even can't feel my feet anymore and I won't be strong enough to fly back to EXO Planet."

"How do I tell the other if I can't come back with you?" Lay confused. "And why don't you let her see your condition? You sacrificed your power for her and you became like this because of her. You're dying because of her."

"...and because I love her." Baekhyun continued. "Let me die in happiness, Lay. I don't feel any regret for doing this for her." Then Baekhyun looked at his friend, "Lay, thank you for helping me out. I don't know anybody else that can help me. I owe you so much things. I don't know how I can return it."

"Just hold on, Baekhyun. I'll try to bring us home soon." Lay said. Baekhyun looked at Lay's right arm and saw his sign. As he tried to raise his hand-and you can see that Baekhyun's sign almost faded away, he touched Lay's sign and passed some lights on it.

And then his hands fell limply.

Lay realized that Baekhyun just passed his very last power and Baekhyun's sign went away.

His only best friend was gone.

"BAAAAEEEKKHYYYUUNNN!!!"

"Baby, I have fulfilled my promise to you. I've given you the light for your dark world. You can see your favorite things again now. You can see the star and the sea. You don't have to be afraid of darkness anymore because you have me as your light guide. I'm your light, Baekhyun."

She fell down on her knees once she found a letter near her bed in the next morning. She knew who the sender was. She won't ever see him anymore.

He's gone and she's back to be loner again. She cried loudly as she hugged the letter tightly. She called his name but he won't ever come back.
