The Unknown: A Collection
pg-15 (i think), 150 words (and missing a few parts), mermaid au (kinda), angst (not really), inspired by this.
“Jongin…”
Soojung rolled on her right side to face Jongin with his eyes closed and looking as peaceful as ever.
“Hmm…”
“What will happen to us…when you go back?”
Jongin blinked his eyes open and was met with a frown and teary eyes.
“We’ll be fine.”
“Will we, really?”
“Yes, really.”
He smiled and kissed her forehead before lying on his side and closed his eyes from seeing the stars above. Soojung wrapped her arms around him and tried to do the same.
But his words kept ringing inside her head and she knew neither of them believed it was true.

He left before dawn, before the world was awake, before the sun rises and greets the earth, before she had a chance to share another moment of rugged breaths and addictive kisses. He left with her heart in his hand and she wondered how long she’ll have his.
this is missing a few parts and honestly the only decent thing i've wrote these past 2 weeks orz and man that (imo) is a killer last line and it would have more of an effect if there were more parts before it. instead i can only give you this ;A;
so this is basically jongin stranded on an island and found soojung, a freshwater mermaid which he met on his search for water and they got into this love affair or sth and then he had to leave cuz he can't stay eventho he loves her and all that. a pretty cliche plot maybe but i even have a playlist i found from tumblr and i was excited to write but alas nothing came ;A; check it out here if you like :)
i have another greer x leith au (if you watched reign you'd know who they are ;) that i still can't find anything i like about and in need of some very heavy revision plus a killer ending and have been in works ever since episode 19 (it's ep 21 now i think) and i hv more things to straight out on (mostly facts that i on the show that i hv to sync with it which means i hv to get it out before it becomes totally unrelevant). I think this a/n (AND THE CHAPTER IMAGE) is longer than the drabble and i'm sorry orz
HUGE thanks to @knovelist for retweeting the poem to me and subsequently getting me to write this and cassie @fraerie that made the graphic in the first place (scouring ur kaistal tag to find this is never a pain :'D) ! maybe i'll write a full on oneshot with this one day ;)

just oiling my brain to get rid of all the rust and waking it up from a writing coma and all that :p
